Abstract

Road infrastructure is very important for the economic progress of Tanjung Aur Seberang village residents. Economic development in Tanjung Aur Village, Tebo Regency has significantly increased traffic levels. If this is not balanced by improving the quality of transportation facilities and infrastructure, then this could cause serious problems. Determining the value of the degree of density of the foundation layer aggregate (soil) class S  in obtaining soil stability with safe conditions in accordance with the requirements of density standards is the aim of this research. The methods used are direct tests in the field and in the laboratory. Testing soil density in the field using a sand cone tool follows the provision stated in  SNI 03-2828-1992, while testing soil density in the laboratory follows the provisions stated in SNI 1742-2008. Soil density testing intervals vary between 50 meters, 75 meters, 100 meters, 150 meters, 200 meters depending on location conditions. The results sand cone testing was carried out on roads from STA 2+000 to 3+800. In the first test with 9 test points, the field density was obtained below 95%, namely STA 2+100 (94,141%), STA 2 +550 (94,389%) and STA 3 +800 (94,289). Theses results indicate that the required standard degree of field density has not been achieved, so that the base layer of class S aggregate  can be added and compaction can be carried out again. And from STA 0 + 005 to 4 + 200 in the second test with 26 test points. Test results using a sand cone tool show that the average water content value is 7.513% with a density reaching 98.846%. and these results were in accordance with applicable standard requirements.

Abstract

PT Tambulun Pangian Indah beroperasi pada sektor pertambangan batubara dengan lokasi lahan bekas tambang yang berada pada elevasi yang tinggi dengan kondisi lereng yang terjal sehingga apabila sistem penyaliran yang ada tidak mampu dikhawatirkan akan terjadi erosi dan longsor. Evaluasi sistem penyaliran tambang dilakukan menggunakan persamaan-persamaan antara lain Distribusi Gumbel (curah hujan harian), Mononobe (intensitas hujan), Rasional (debit air limpasan permukaan), dan Manning (dimensi saluran terbuka). Berdasarkan pertimbangan periode ulang hujan 5 tahunan diperoleh curah hujan harian setinggi 288,77 mm dengan intensitas hujan sebesar 101,17 mm/jam. Debit air limpasan permukaan diperkiraan yaitu 0,551 m3/detik dengan pertimbangan daerah tangkapan hujan seluas 28 ha dan koefisien limpasan 0,7. Dimensi saluran terbuka yang direncanakan didasarkan pada dua kondisi yaitu kondisi tidak terjadi banjir dan mengendalikan kemungkinan banjir pada lahan bekas tambang (0,984 m3/detik). Dimensi kondisi 1 dan 2 berturut-turut dalam meter antara lain kedalaman saluran (0,38 dan 0,41), lebar dasar saluran (0,44 dan 0,55), lebar permukaan saluran (0,88 dan 1,10), panjang sisi saluran (0,44 dan 0,55), dan tinggi jagaan (0,05 dan 0,07).

Abstract

Open-pit mining can cause changes in environmental conditions, especially in disposal land. The formation of gully erosion on disposal land tends to increase as the area of open land increases. The aim of this research is to calculate the amount of erosion and the geometry of the bench terrace as a form of recommendation for reducing the rate of erosion. The methodology used is the USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) method approach in predicting the amount of erosion and an empirical approach in providing recommendations to reduce the rate of erosion for conservation measures in the form of bench terraces. The results showed that the erosion formed on disposal land was 123.43 tons/ha/year with a range of 60-180 tons/ha/year in the category of moderate erosion hazard. While for the dimensions of bench terraces recommended on disposal land, the overall slope pit angle value was 46,60 with a maximum single slope pit angle on the bench of 600 (16.6%). Bench dimensions in the form of bench terraces will have a major influence on the overall slope pit angle value formed. The smaller the width of the bench formed with the single slope pit angle, the greater the value of the overall slope pit angle formed. In addition to the width of the bench that affects the value of the overall slope pit angle is the height of the disposal slope. The height of the disposal slope will be directly proportional to the decrease in the overall pit angle slope, to the number of benches formed. With soil conservation measures in the form of traditional terraces in the form of bench terraces with a value factor of 0.4 in open land without vegetation, it can decrease from 123.43% (tons/ha/year) to 49.37 tons/ha/year ranging from 15-60 tons/ha/year with the category of low erosion hazard level, and or about 39% reduction in erosion that occurs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze interprovincial urban passenger transport fares on the Mamuju-Makassar route. The research method used is a quantitative approach with primary data collection through field interviews with transport operators and service users and direct observation of the vehicle operating cost component. In addition, secondary data were collected from relevant agencies. The analysis was conducted using the BOK approach and tariff calculation. The results showed that the tariffs were based on the results of the BOK calculations and compared with the prevailing tariffs in the area. The average tariff set by the government is Rp. 200,000,- Km/org and the theoretical average tariff from the BOK calculation is Rp. 114.908,- Km/org. From this research, it can be seen that the theoretical rate of vehicle operating costs is lower than the rate applicable in the field. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the role of local government in evaluating transportation tariffs again and develop other policy alternatives by the government in dealing with this problem.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tarif angkutan penumpang kota antar provinsi pada rute Mamuju–Makassar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data primer melalui survei lapangan terhadap operator angkutan, pengguna jasa, serta observasi langsung terhadap komponen biaya operasional kendaraan (BOK). Selain itu, data sekunder diperoleh dari instansi terkait. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan BOK dan perhitungan tarif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tarif berdasarkan hasil perhitungan BOK dan membandingkannya dengan tarif yang berlaku di lapangan. Tarif rata-rata yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah adalah Rp. 200.000,- Km/org, tarif rata-rata teoritis dari perhitungan BOK adalah Rp. 114.908,- Km/org. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan dapat dilihat tarif teoritis biaya operasi kendaraan kurang dari yang berlaku dilapangan. Maka dari hal ini, perlu adanya peningkatan peran pemerintah setempat dalam mengevaluasi tarif angkutan kembali serta mengembangkan alternatif- alternatif kebijakan lain oleh pemerintah dalam menangani permasalahan ini.

Abstract

Tingkat pengangguran terbuka tertinggi di Indonesias adalah lulusan sekolah menengah kejuruan – yaitu lebih dari 10.42% pada laporan Agustud 2019 dari Biro Pusat Statistik. Oleh karena itu, Program Studi Teknik Sipil Universitas Sulawesi Barat memberikan peningkatan kapasitas berupa penggabungan dua buah materi penting, yaitu tanah dan air. Pemberian materi hubungan keterikatan keduanya dapat menjadi nilai tambah yang sekaligus akan diaplikasikan dalam beberapa software. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat bahwa mereka dapat mencapai keterampilan tersebut melalui pemahaman keterkaitan akan keduanya di lapangan. Ceramah dan sesi diskusi sebagi suatu bentuk penggunaan metode belajar aktif dan pendekatan partisipatif digunakan, hasil menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kurangnya pemahama kelanjutan proses dari kedua materi tersebut, tetapi antusias peserta untuk mendalami dan mempraktekan hal tersebut tinggi yang ditunjukkan dari beberapa pertanyaan dan jawaban pertanyaan yang diberikan ke peserta. Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa pengabdian masyarakat ini berhasil menambah ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan mereka, dan yang lebih penting adalah semangat mereka untuk belajar terbentuk dari kesadaran mereka tentang pentingnya keterampilan untuk bekerja.

Abstract

Mining activities are one of the industrial sectors that are capital and technology intensive. This sector provides substantial economic benefits and also has significant environmental, economic and social impacts. This study aims to analyze community perspectives and the impacts felt by the community due to mining activities. The methodology of this research uses a quantitative research type with a sample size of 99 respondents. Perceptions are given in the form of a Likert scale to measure the level of validity, reliability and t-test (influence). The results of the study show that mining activities have brought significant positive changes to people's lives, especially increased income, changes in types of work, opening up employment opportunities and improving the quality of education, besides that it also has significant negative impacts, namely air pollution, noise, land damage, environmental pollution. Due to the magnitude of the negative impacts, preventive measures and environmental management must be carried out as early as possible to prevent widespread land damage.
