Abstract

This research article was conducted to determine the effectiveness of the application of the wafa method, namely a method using the right brain in improving the ability to read the Al-Qur'an at SDIT Tawakkal Pacitan for the 2023/2024 academic year. This wafa method has been implemented at SDIT Tawakkal since 2018, making it the first elementary school in Pacitan to apply the Wafa method for learning the Al-Qur'an. This research was carried out from 25 May 2024 to 25 June 2024. This research was carried out at SDIT Tawakkal involving students in class 3 B or Ali Bin Abi Talib class as research subjects. The research uses descriptive methods with a qualitative approach. Based on research in the field, it was found that the application of the wafa method at SDIT Tawakkal can improve the ability to read the Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

Character education is a conscious and planned effort to instill values ​​so that they are integrated in students so that they can realize good behavior and attitudes. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of character education on students' productive learning achievement in subjects at the Tawakkal Integrated Islamic Elementary School. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach through data collection and was carried out in class 3A SDIT Tawakkal Pacitan. Data collection techniques in this research were interviews and documentation. Analysis of interview data was used as the main data for drawing conclusions in this research and analysis of documentation data in the form of photos of learning activities, students' daily tests and activities at school during the time this research took place.

Abstract

Learning concentration is a crucial prerequisite for students' academic success, yet attention degradation has become a serious challenge in the digital era. This study aims to analyze the influence of Quranic recitation habituation on the learning concentration of students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Using a causal-associative quantitative approach, this research involved upper-grade students as samples selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through recitation habituation questionnaires, structured observations, and the Grid Concentration Test. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression and the coefficient of determination. The results indicated that the habituation of Quranic recitation significantly acts as a positive determinant of learning concentration. Neuro-pedagogically, consistent morning recitation is able to condition alpha brainwaves that support cognitive readiness. Furthermore, precision in Tajwid was found to correlate with students' attentional sharpness in understanding lesson instructions. This study recommends the implementation of routine recitation as an attention management strategy within the madrasah environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Qur’anic recitation habituation on students’ learning concentration at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Qur’anic recitation is not merely a religious ritual but also has pedagogical potential in fostering mental readiness, emotional stability, and learning focus. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research subjects were Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students who regularly participated in Qur’anic recitation activities. Data were collected through questionnaires and classroom observations to measure the intensity of recitation and students’ learning concentration, and were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings reveal that Qur’anic recitation habituation has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning concentration. Structured and consistent recitation activities help create a calm psychological atmosphere, enhance cognitive readiness, and improve students’ ability to maintain attention during learning processes. These results indicate that Qur’anic recitation habituation can be positioned as an effective pedagogical strategy to improve learning quality in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah
