Abstract

The existence of outdoor learning that began to be carried out by nature schools became an exciting learning method. This outdoor learning activity raises interest in students' enthusiasm for learning because students get new experiences and discover new things. This study used a qualitative method and was conducted at the Aceh Islamic Nature School (AINS) by examining students' understanding of English using outdoor learning. Data collection techniques were carried out by observing and interviewing English teachers at the school. As a finding, learning English with outdoor learning methods has various ways, such as inviting students to know directly in English. For each material, a song is sung together so they can remember the lesson and the material studied. Outdoor learning at AINS also has adequate supporting factors, such as the provision of vocabulary stickers on the walls of spaces/objects. The teacher gets used to speaking in English to improve students' listening so that they are used to it and can respond. Based on these results, From the data based on observations, interviews, and document analysis above, outdoor learning by inviting students to see material objects directly from nature is considered effective. What teachers apply with this method to students is successfully meeting all kinds of targets for each material, especially in increasing English language skills, which can be seen from their mastery of vocabulary. Apart from that, outdoor learning is also considered to prevent students from getting bored quickly and being enthusiastic about following all the material the teacher provides.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan fokus utama yang ingin dikembangkan di sekolah SDIK Nurul Qur’an, itu terlihat dari program-program yang mengutamakan pengembangan karakter siswa, adapun penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan tehnik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang peneliti dapatkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan karakter di SDIK Nurul Qur’an memiliki beberapa program khusus seperti yang namanya BIMTER (Bimbingan Karakter) dalam program ini siswa dibentuk karakternya dengan berbagai macam kegiatan baik itu seperti latihan pidato, menghafal Al Qur’an, menghafal Hadist, shalat dhuha dan lainnya, tujuannya agar dapat diaplikasikan oleh siswa-siswi dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari. Sekolah SDIK Nurul Qur’an juga mempunyai badan penggerak yang dibentuk dari siswa-siswi yang diberi nama LKPD (laskar penggerak karakter dahsyat) tugasnya mengamati dan mengawasi setiap siswa-siswi agar berjalannya program pengembangan karakter dengan baik. SDIK Nurul Qur’an memiliki slogan yang diberi nama Karakter DAHSYAT, ini merupakan singkatan dari Disiplin, Amanah, Harmonis, Santun, Yakin, Aktif, Terampil & berprestasi. Dalam hal ini, pengembangan karakter di SDIK Nurul Qur’an bisa menjadi sebuah acuan bagi sekolah lain untuk meningkatkan pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan senyawa flavonoid dan saponin yang terdapat pada buah pare yang sangat bagus sebagai perangsang rambut. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental. Sediaan hair tonic dibuat dengan menambahkan ekstrak buah pare dengan variasikosentrasi yaitu 5g (F1), 10g (F2), 15g (F3) dan sebagai blangko (F0). Pengujian terhadap sediaan hair tonicmeliputi uji organoleptic, uji homogenitas, uji pH, uji iritasi dan uji aktifitas pertumbuhan rambut. Sediaan hair tonic stabil dalam penyimpanan dan homogenitas, pH sediaan (5,7-6,4) dan tidak terdapat kemerahan atau bengkak dikulit pada saat pemakaian sediaan. Hasil dari pertumbuhan rambut yaitu 5,0mm (F1), 5,6mm (F2), 6,7mm (F3) dan 4,3mm (F0). Hasil tersebut diketahui bahwa semakin tinggi kosentrasi maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat aktivitas pertumbuhan pada rambut dan hair tonicdengan penambahan ekstrak buah pare (Momordica charantia L.) dengan konsentrasi 15% (F3) mempunyai aktivitas terbaik dalam pertumbuhan rambut kelinci.Kata Kunci : rambut, kelinci, ekstrak etanol, buah pareThis study aims to determine the content of flavonoid and saponin compounds in bitter melon which is very good as a hair stimulant. The research was conducted experimentally. Hair tonic preparations were made by adding bitter melon extract with various concentrations, namely 5g (F1), 10g (F2), 15g (F3) and as blank (F0). Tests on hair tonic preparations include organoleptic test, homogeneity test, pH test, irritation test and hair growth activity test. The hair tonic preparation is stable in storage and homogeneity, the pH of the preparation is (5.7-6.4) and there is no redness or swelling of the skin when using the preparation. The results of hair growth are 5.0mm (F1), 5.6mm (F2), 6.7mm (F3) and 4.3mm (F0). The results showed that the higher the concentration, the higher the level of hair growth activity and hair tonic with the addition of bitter melon fruit extract (Momordica charantia L.) with a concentration of 15% (F3) had the best activity in rabbit hair growth.Keywords: hair, rabbit, ethanol extract, bitter melon Reference: Books and Journals
