Abstract

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of digital transformation and artificial intelligence on credit risk management effectiveness, operational efficiency, and data quality in Indonesia's national private banks. Using a quantitative method, the data were analyzed with SmartPLS 3.0 through the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. The sample consists of 100 employees from the credit risk and IT divisions of 20 national private banks that utilize artificial intelligence, selected using stratified random sampling. The findings reveal that digital transformation and artificial intelligence positively influence operational efficiency and data quality, significantly enhancing credit risk management effectiveness. Data quality mediates the relationship between artificial intelligence and credit risk management, while operational efficiency also serves as a strong mediator. This study highlights the importance of digital innovation as an effective strategy for national private banks to strengthen credit risk management through technology.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of work-life balance, stress management, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) integration on employee productivity in Bandung's hospitality sector, focusing on the mediating role of job satisfaction. The study examines 19 five-star and 94 four-star hotels, with a population of 226 general managers, managers, and supervisors. A sample of 183 respondents was determined using Slovin’s formula with 0.05 margin of error, and data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings confirm that job satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between work-life balance, stress management, and productivity. ESG integration, encompassing social and environmental responsibility, further enhances productivity by strengthening these relationships. This study extends the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) model, showing that ESG practices serve as additional job resources that reduce stress and improve job satisfaction, ultimately boosting productivity. This research highlights the need for supportive work-life balance policies, effective stress management, and ESG integration to enhance employee well-being and productivity. The study offers strategic insights for academia and industry, supporting sustainable HR practices in hospitality. A holistic approach integrating work-life balance, stress management, job satisfaction, and ESG policies is essential for improving productivity and ensuring sustainability.

Abstract

Profitability reflects a company's ability to generate profits and indicates the effectiveness of its management. This is demonstrated by the profits generated from sales and investment income, which are utilized to finance the company's daily operations, as well as for investments and other purposes. The amount of capital required by a company depends on the magnitude of the expenses it incurs. There are numerous factors that can influence profitability, and this research focuses on two factors: capital structure and working capital turnover. The methodology employed in this study is a descriptive and verification method with a quantitative approach. The population consists of annual financial data from 14 companies in the food and beverages sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with a sample size of 6 companies selected for analysis. The findings indicate that the capital structure, working capital turnover, and profitability fluctuate annually. Additionally, the statistical analysis reveals that both the capital structure and working capital turnover have a significant simultaneous effect on firm value. However, when examined individually, the capital structure does not significantly affect profitability, whereas the turnover of working capital exhibits a partial significant effect on profitability.
