Abstract

Psychology in the Monologue Script "The Last Day of a Death Row Convict" by Victor Hugo discusses the psychology of the main character in the text. This script shows the main character who is on death row and experiencing significant psychological changes. This analysis uses a psychoanalytic approach to understand how the main character faces the death penalty and how these psychological changes influence his behavior. The results of the analysis show that the main character experiences complex and dynamic psychological changes. He experienced depression, hopelessness, and anxiety related to the death sentence he faced. The conclusion of this analysis is that Victor Hugo's "The Last Day of a Death Row Convict" presents a complex and dynamic main psychological character. Psychoanalysis helps understand how the main character faces the death penalty and how these psychological changes influence his behavior. The results of this analysis can be used to understand the psychology of individuals who face difficult situations and how they develop strategies to deal with these situations.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the various semantic meanings in the lyrics of the song "Kala Sang Surya Tenggelam" by Crishye. Song lyrics are an indirect means of communication to express the meanings implied therein. Of course, this cannot be separated from semantics which plays a crucial role in revealing the meanings. what is implied and written in song lyrics. Semantics is a science that examines and studies meaning in a language. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods. which will be analyzed includes all the words, phrases and sentences in the lyrics of Chrisye's song. The results obtained are various meanings in the lyrics, including (1) lexical meaning consisting of synonyms, antonyms, repetition affixation, reduplication, composition (3) meaning of proverb.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis variasi bahasa peserta didik SMP Negeri 14 Tasikmalaya dalam konteks pembinaan Bahasa Indonesia dengan fokus pada kajian sosiolingustik. Penekanan utama penelitian ini adalah menganalisis bagaimana variasi bahasa ini muncul dan berinteraksi dalam proses pembinaan bahasa Indonesia di sekolah yang memiliki latar budaya Sunda yang kuat. Melalui pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan dari hasil tulisan siswa setelah kegiatan sosialisasi pembinaan Bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik cenderung menggunakan kata tidak baku dan campur kode antara bahasa Sunda dan bahasa Inggris. Faktor sosial dan lingkungan berkontribusi terhadap variasi bahasa yang digunakan. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pembinaan bahasa yang kontekstual dan adaptif terhadap realitas linguistik peserta didik. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk meningkatkan strategi pengajaran Bahasa, seperti penggunaan aktivitas menulis formal dan diskusi interaktif, yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa di era modern
