Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation and accuracy of the Jean Meeus Algorithm in determining lunar and solar eclipses.This research is a qualitative research with a literature approach. The primary data source for this research is a book entitled Astronomical Algorithm by Jean Meeus. Meanwhile, secondary data is all information related to the Jean Meeus algorithm in determining eclipses obtained from various literature such as books, websites, encyclopedias, dictionaries, scientific articles, and other sources of information. The results of this study indicate that determining the eclipse time using the Jean Meeus algorithm involves seven stages of calculation namely; starting with determining the year the eclipse occurred, then determining the gamma value, JDE (Julian Day Ephemeris), the payoff value (k), the saros series, the reference time (To) and the Bessel Element value. The calculation of the Jean Meeus Algorithm is included in the tahkiki essential reckoning method because the calculation process involves astronomical data with very precise corrections for the motion of the Moon and the Sun, This method is also based on the heliocentric flow. In addition, the level of accuracy of Jean Meeus' calculations has a good match with NASA as a comparison, namely with results that are only 1 to 3 minutes apart and the average difference is only in seconds.

Abstract

Sejak Kurikulum MBKM diberlakukan di UIN Mataram pada Tahun 2022, evaluasi penerapan program tersebut belum pernah dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki dan menganalisis kesiapan dosen, mahasiswa, dan mitra terhadap implementasi program MBKM di prodi Ilmu Falak UIN Mataram. Penelitian ini merupakan kombinasi penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode survei dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosen Prodi Ilmu Falak memberikan respon positif untuk menerapkan MBKM. Kondisi ini selaras dengan respon para mitra prodi yakni selalu siap untuk mendukung penerapan MBKM. Namun, hasil survei mahasiswa menunjukkan respon yang sebaliknya. Sebagian besar mahasiswa tidak mengetahui adanya kebijakan MBKM. Selain itu, mahasiswa masih ragu akan mendapatkan peningkatan kompetensi dari pembelajaran di program studi lain.  Faktor lain yang dikhawatirkan mahasiswa adalah biaya yang harus dikeluarkan apabila  melakukan pembelajaran di tempat yang cukup jauh dari lingkungan kampus asal. Mengingat bahwa kesuksesan penerapan MBKM harus didukung oleh kesiapan ketiga unsur utama pelaksananya, yaitu dosen, mahasiswa, dan mitra, maka prodi Ilmu Falak UIN Mataram dinilai masih perlu merancang strategi dan upaya lanjut untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswanya, baik dari aspek pemahaman tentang program MBKM, sarana, serta prasarananya

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya penggunaan LMS di Fakultas Syariah UIN Mataram. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengelaborasi kondisi penerapan LMS di Fakultas Syariah UIN Mataram serta mempelajari faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat yang dirasakan oleh para dosen dalam pemanfaatannya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Sementara, proses pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor pendukung tertinggi diperoleh dari indikator perspektif dosen terkait penggunaan Moodle LMS dengan nilai mean seluruh item > 3.0 yaitu 3.61. Sementara, faktor penghambat tertinggi berasal dari mahasiswa yang tidak aktif menggunakan LMS (3.71), dukungan teknis yang kurang memadai (3.57), dan dosen yang tidak memiliki pengalaman menggunakan LMS (3.21). Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa belum maksimalnya penerapan LMS di Fakultas Syariah UIN Mataram disebabkan oleh dua faktor utama yaitu, rendahnya motivasi mahasiswa dan minimnya kemampuan dosen dalam penggunaan LMS meskipun mereka memiliki motivasi dan perspektif yang positif terhadap penerapan LMS untuk mendukung proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research discusses two main points of discussion, namely the methods used by the community in Wanasaba Village in determining the Qibla direction of the Songgen public cemetery and the level of accuracy of the Qibla direction of the Songgen public cemetery in Wanasaba Village. The type of research used is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was obtained through direct observation in the field by carrying out measurements and structured interviews with resource persons. The results of this research show that the method used to determine the Qibla direction of the Songgen Public Cemetery is an estimation method by looking at the cardinal directions. The level of accuracy of the Songgen Public Cemetery after measurements were carried out using the Istiwa,aini method, it was found that the results ranged from 13° to 37°.

Abstract

This research was conducted to investigate the method of determining the Qibla direction used at the Selaparang Kedatuan Tomb, East Lombok, as well as to re-examine the accuracy of the Qibla direction of the tomb. This research is qualitative research that uses a field approach. Research data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis process is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research show that determining the direction of the Qibla of the Selaparang Kedatuan Tomb in East Lombok uses a method derived from the development of the Istiwa' stick which applies a concept that is identical to the theory of Spherical Trigonometry. Meanwhile, the results of the Qibla direction calibration that was carried out using istiwa'aini showed that there was a deviation in the Qibla direction of the Selaparang Kedatuan Tomb, East Lombok, from the Kaaba of Thus, the direction of the tomb's Qibla is currently inaccurate. This condition occurred .?9.62?48 ?26 because the method for measuring the direction of the Qibla used by its predecessors at that time still had many shortcomings.

Abstract

Penentuan arah kiblat dalam pemakaman jenazah merupakan bagian penting dari tuntunan syariat Islam, namun dalam praktiknya seringkali terjadi kekeliruan, terutama di wilayah-wilayah yang masih memegang tradisi lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejarah, metode, dan akurasi arah kiblat pada Makam Kuno Tolobali Kota Bima. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kombinasi kualitatif dan kuantitatif melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara, serta pengukuran dengan Mizwala dan rumus Spherical Trigonometry. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode tradisional yang digunakan masyarakat, seperti penggunaan silet, arah ombak, dan patokan arah makam para sultan, menghasilkan penyimpangan arah kiblat sebesar 27° 59' 16.6” dari arah yang seharusnya. Hal ini menandakan bahwa meskipun metode lokal mencerminkan kearifan budaya dan religiusitas, namun tidak memenuhi standar akurasi ilmiah. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi peningkatan literasi keagamaan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan pemakaman yang sesuai dengan tuntunan syariat melalui penerapan teknologi modern
