Abstract

Cost determination is pivotal for business sustainability. This study analyzes the Cost of Goods Manufactured for keychains and ceramic bowls using conventional and Activity-Based Costing (ABC) methods. The difference in overhead costs calculation between these methods is examined. Results indicate lower costs with ABC, specifically Rp 30,807 for keychains and Rp 22,067 for ceramic bowls. This research provides insights for businesses aiming to enhance financial sustainability through efficient cost management.

Abstract

The distribution of soybean raw materials is not only related to aspects of quality and smooth production of tofu making but can also influence cost efficiency to increase competitiveness. In this situation, the number of soybeans shipped, transportation costs per unit, and the choice of transportation service used are transportation model issues. This research aims to determine the cheapest cost of sending soybean raw materials from four agent locations to three tofu factory locations with a choice of two transportation services that can be adopted. The case studied is a case of unbalanced transportation with supply greater than demand. The method used is the application of a transportation model, with the Northwest Corner method to determine the initial base solution and the Modified Distribution method to optimize distribution costs for soybean raw materials in the context of tofu production supply. Based on data processing, the results showed that the first and second transportation services offered services with a total shipping cost of IDR 691,750 and IDR 605,250. Observation of these differences leads to the conclusion that the second transportation service offers the most optimal value for money. The research results provide additional knowledge for tofu makers in optimizing costs and delivery routes for soybean raw materials, supporting production continuity, and increasing competitiveness in an ever-changing market.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dilakukan pada UMKM bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan strategi digital marketing dalam mengoptimalkan UMKM, yang bergerak dalam produksi produk lokal. Digital marketing, melalui sosial medial, SEO, dan iklan digital, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan jangkauan pasar UMKM. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengabdian kepada masyarakat (pengmas), dalam memberikan  kepada seluruh pengelola atau pelaku UMKM. Hasil pada pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi digital marketing berhasil meningkatkan visibilitas merk dan menarik pelanggan, yang berdampak pada peningkatan penjualan. Kesimpulannya, strategi digital marketing efektif dalam mengoptimalkan kinerja UMKM dan meningkatkan kontribusinya terhadap perekonomian lokal, dengan saran untuk melanjutkan pengembangan dan penerapan teknologi digital di masa depan.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilakukan di UMKM di PKK RT.004 RW.008 Griya Alam Sentosa, Cileungsi-Bogor, dan memfokuskan pada UMKM Srikandi yang menghasilkan onde-onde ketawa dan kentang Mustofa. Banyak UMKM menghadapi kesulitan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital di era digital saat ini. Data menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesuksesan UMKM dalam menjual produk melalui platform digital hanya 4–10%, meskipun terjadi peningkatan signifikan dalam jumlah UMKM yang masuk ke ekosistem digital dari tahun 2020 hingga 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi tiga tahap untuk program pelatihan, yang dimulai pada 29 September 2024. Tahap-tahap tersebut terdiri dari pra kegiatan, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta tentang konsep dasar digital marketing dan pentingnya penggunaan media sosial serta e-commerce dalam bisnis. Program ini berhasil memberdayakan pelaku UMKM, khususnya yang didominasi oleh perempuan di atas 50 tahun, dalam mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk pengembangan bisnis mereka, membuktikan bahwa pelatihan merupakan metode efektif dalam mendorong transformasi digital UMKM.

Abstract

In 2018, RW 04 Palmerah, located in the administrative region of Palmerah, West Jakarta, was designated as one of the slum neighborhoods under Jakarta Governor Regulation No. 90. A critical aspect of this regulation addressed the issues of plastic waste and community economic empowerment. Within the context of Community-Based Economic Development through Technology in RW 04 Palmerah, community engagement initiatives aimed to address plastic waste management and enhance economic well-being through technological interventions. Employing a participatory approach, the implementation over two months not only cultivated a clean culture but also effectively processed and utilized plastic waste within the community. Despite modest and fluctuating returns, the initiative significantly contributed to the sustainable model of community-based economic development through technology in the local area, serving as a guiding framework for similar endeavors in other regions.

Abstract

Community Service (PKM) Summary: Empowering Technology-Based Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This Community Service (PKM) aims to enhance the economic empowerment of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the PKK RT.004 RW.008 Griya Alam Sentosa-Cileungsi-Bogor community. The project, titled designing Mustopa Potato Chips SMEs Based on Technology, is conducted by the Entrepreneurship/Business Energy Program at IT-PLN. Utilizing a descriptive statistical approach, we assess the training's effectiveness, including participant profiles, feedback, and outcomes. The results encompass increased entrepreneurial design knowledge and assistance in developing technology-based businesses for MSME players. This initiative supports MSME growth and strengthens the relationship between IT-PLN and the community.

Abstract

Introduction: The mismatch between interests and study program selection remains a challenge at many Private Universities (PTS) in Jakarta. This inaccuracy negatively impacts student enthusiasm for learning, academic achievement, and dropout rates. This study aims to analyze factors influencing the decision to choose a study program (Y), with Student Interest (Z) as an intervening variable. The independent variables used include Facilities and Service Facilities (X1), Education Fees (X2), Marketing Communication (X3), Lecturer Competence (X4), Job Prospects (X5), Self-Motivation (X6), and Family Support (X7)Methods: This study used a quantitative method, distributing questionnaires to 119 students at several private universities in Jakarta, and analyzed the data using multiple regression, classical assumption tests, the Sobel test, and the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²).Results: The research findings show that Job Prospects (X5), Self-Motivation (X6), and Family Support (X7) impact students’ bias in choosing a study program, while other variables do not have a significant effect. The Sobel test indicates that Student Interest (Z) mediates only the influence of Self-Motivation (X6). The research model is valid with R² = 0.733 and Adjusted R² = 0.713. These findings confirm the importance of motivation, family support, and job prospects in students’ academic decisions.Conclusion and suggestion: Job prospects, self-motivation, and family support significantly influenced the decision to choose a study program, while other factors did not. Student interests did not mediate the effect of self-motivation. Universities need to strengthen career guidance and emphasize job prospects to facilitate informed study decisions. Abstract

Penguatan literasi manajemen keuangan dan bisnis merupakan aspek penting dalam mempersiapkan siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) agar memiliki kompetensi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja dan kewirausahaan. Namun, proses pembelajaran yang masih didominasi oleh metode konvensional cenderung kurang mampu mendorong keterlibatan aktif siswa serta belum sepenuhnya mengembangkan pemahaman praktis secara optimal. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan siswa SMKN 5 Kabupaten Tangerang dalam pengelolaan manajemen keuangan dan bisnis melalui penerapan pendekatan game-based learning. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui pelatihan interaktif dan kolaboratif dengan memanfaatkan simulasi permainan edukatif yang meliputi perencanaan keuangan, pencatatan transaksi, analisis sederhana laba-rugi, serta pengambilan keputusan bisnis. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan game-based learning mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar, partisipasi aktif, serta pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep manajemen keuangan dan bisnis secara kontekstual dan aplikatif. Selain itu, kegiatan ini menghasilkan modul pelatihan berbasis game-based learning yang dapat dimanfaatkan secara berkelanjutan oleh pihak sekolah, serta mendorong peningkatan minat siswa terhadap kewirausahaan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif model pembelajaran inovatif yang efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi keuangan dan bisnis siswa SMK serta mendukung kesiapan mereka dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja dan bisnis masa kini.
