Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of Arabic language learning at MTs Mambaul Ulum Tulupari Tiris Probolinggo. The focus of this research consists of three main sub-variables, namely: lesson planning, lesson implementation, and assessment or evaluation of learning. The main objective of this research is to achieve effective learning for students so that the learning process can be optimized and the average student grades can reach the Minimum Completion Criteria. The research method used is a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and analysis of documents related to the planning, implementation, and assessment of Arabic language learning. The results of this research explain that learning at MTs Mambaul Ulum Tulupari Tiris Probolinggo involves a structured planning process with clear objectives, including goal identification, material selection, method determination, assessment planning, and continuous adjustment. Its implementation focuses on meaningful learning experiences, active interaction, and the use of diverse learning methods and resources. Meanwhile, learning evaluation encompasses a holistic approach with various assessment methods, feedback, formative and summative evaluations, as well as student involvement in the evaluation process and adjustments for continuous improvement.

Abstract

This research deals with students’ participation in upgrading speaking skills. An attempt to develop autonomy through online learning applications. The purpose of this research is to describe the autonomy of practicing Arabic speaking that can be upgraded automatically. The research methodology used in this research is both qualitative and quantitative research so that the research results are hopefully more comprehensive. Quantitative data were extracted using a questionnaire considering the following criteria: student awareness, independent effort, independent activity, reference, motivation, and use of learning technology. While qualitative data were collected through interviews in order to measure students’ opinions on learning autonomy. The results of the research are that the independence of learning "self-learning" that students do outside the classroom was mostly at medium and high levels and can be described as follows: awareness at a high level of 3.67, independent effort at a medium level of 3.23, independent activity at a level of 3.00, self-confidence at a medium level of 3.42, then use of educational technology at a high level of 4.16. Students who obtain a high level benefit from educational technology. As for those who are weak in motivation, they were at a low level and did not respect themselves in learning the Arabic language.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan belajar Bahasa Arab siswa, proses pembelajarannya dan upaya-upaya guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab di MTs Mambaul Ulum. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dan teknik pengumpulan datanya dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kesulitan belajar yang dihadapi siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab dikarenakan kurangnya paham siswa akan pentingnya bahasa arab, kurangnya siswa menyerap materi-materi yang disampaikan guru, dan cara belajar siswa yang kurang efektif menjadikan siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar. Strategi yang dilakukan oleh guru bahasa Arab yakni dengan menggunak metode pembelajaran yang variatif, berupa metode pembelajaran demonstrasi, metode drill dan pembelajaran berkelompok, strategi yang selanjutnya yakni evaluasi diakhir pembelajaran. Hambatan yang dihadapi oleh guru bahasa Arab berupa minat belajar anak yang kurang terhadap pelajaran bahasa Arab karena pesepsi yang terbenam dikalangan peserta didik yakni pelajaran bahasa Arab adalah pelajaran yang sulit, selain itu juga motivasi dan kontrol orang tua terhadap anak yang sangat rendah menjadi salah satu faktor penyebabnya.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were to find out how Arabic speaking skills were taught at MTs. Darut Taqwa 02 Sengonagung Purwosari by applying the SAVI-based learning model, and to determine the effect of students' learning outcomes after the application of the SAVI model and to find out whether there were differences between the SAVI and conventional learning models on the learning outcomes of Arabic speaking skills. This study used a quantitative approach, with a quasi-experimental research design with a non-equivalent control group. The subjects were the students of class VII I, consisting of 35 students as the experimental class, and class VII K, comprising 37 students as the control class. Several tests were conducted, including a descriptive test, normality test, paired sample t-tests, homogeneity test, and independent sample t-test. The results obtained through several tests showed an increase in the average score between the pre-test (47.49) and post-test (67.97). Additionally, a comparison of the average post-test scores between the experimental class (67.97) and the control class (59.51) showed a difference of 8%. The conclusion is that the SAVI model using video and Peabody media for learning Arabic speaking skills is more influential than the conventional model.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penerapan metode tanya jawab dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab berbantuan chatGPT untuk meningkatakan literasi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dampak penerapan metode tanya jawab berbantuan ChatGPT dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab terhadap kemampuan literasi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif eksperimental yang melibatkan 20 siswa kelas X di sebuah Madrasah Aliyah. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar soal pre-test dan post-test, masing-masing terdiri dari 10 soal, sebagai alat untuk mengukur pemahaman awal dan perkembangan siswa setelah terlibat dalam pembelajaran. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pre-test sebesar 61.75, sementara nilai rata-rata post-test meningkat menjadi 81.5. Peningkatan tersebut tercermin dalam nilai N-Gain sebesar 0.58 (kategori sedang) atau dengan persentase mencapai 58.14% (kategori cukup efektif). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode tanya jawab berbantuan ChatGPT memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi bahasa Arab siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan metode pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang lebih inovatif dan efektif di masa mendatang.Abstract:  This research aims to investigate the impact of implementing the question-and-answer method assisted by ChatGPT in Arabic language learning on students' literacy skills. This study is a quantitative experimental research involving 20 tenth-grade students in a Madrasah Aliyah. The research instruments utilized were pre-test and post-test questionnaires, each comprising 10 items, serving as tools to measure students' initial comprehension and progress after engaging in the learning process. Data analysis revealed that the average pre-test score was 61.75, while the average post-test score increased to 81.5. This improvement is reflected in the N-Gain score of 0.58 (moderate category) or a percentage of 58.14% (sufficiently effective category). These findings indicate that the implementation of the question-and-answer method assisted by ChatGPT has a positive impact on enhancing students' Arabic language literacy skills. The implications of this research can serve as a foundation for the development of more innovative and effective Arabic language teaching methods in the future.
