Abstract

Violence within the realm of education is characterized by aggressive behaviors that exceed permissible limits of authority, inevitably resulting in the infringement of victims' rights. One such manifestation is the persistence of a seniority culture, which contributes to diminished self-esteem among students. The prevalence of this culture in educational settings detrimentally impacts children, fostering engagement in deviant behaviors, as evidenced in a case at Vocational High School X in Pekanbaru. Employing a descriptive methodological approach, this research aims to elucidate the dynamics of violent practices perpetrated by students in schools and to identify the underlying factors sustaining this culture of violence. Theoretical frameworks utilized in this study include subcultural theory and differential association theory. This study finds that violence in the educational milieu constitutes aggressive behavior exceeding permissible boundaries of authority, thereby violating victims' rights. The repercussions of such violence can be profound, particularly in terms of its impact on victims' mental well-being. Factors contributing to juvenile delinquency encompass internal factors, familial dynamics, and environmental influences. Violent conduct is often fueled by impulsive inclinations, which rationalize students' involvement in such behaviors. Furthermore, a lack of self-control exacerbates individuals' difficulty in regulating their conduct, thereby blurring distinctions between acceptable and unacceptable behaviors. In this context, the perpetuation of violence can be traced back to familial legacies, perpetuated through successive generations and compounded by external influences.

Abstract

Gamifikasi, yaitu penerapan elemen desain permainan dalam konteks non-permainan, semakin banyak digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem informasi guna meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi pengguna. Namun, keberhasilan implementasinya sangat bergantung pada pemilihan metodologi pengembangan, kerangka kerja desain, serta pemodelan sistem yang tepat. Pendekatan ad-hoc sering kali gagal mencapai tujuan jangka panjang dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menyajikan tinjauan literatur sistematis untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan berbagai pendekatan dalam perancangan sistem berbasis gamifikasi. Melalui analisis isi terhadap literatur akademis terbaru, penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas metodologi pengembangan seperti Waterfall, Agile, dan ADDIE. Selain itu, kerangka kerja teoretis seperti Self-Determination Theory (SDT) dan Flow Theory digunakan untuk menganalisis aspek motivasional dalam desain sistem. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan metodologi hibrida, seperti Structured-Agile, serta kerangka kerja desain terstruktur seperti 6D Framework dan Octalysis, memberikan hasil yang lebih efektif dan adaptif. Penelitian ini juga mengusulkan model pemetaan elemen gamifikasi ke dalam artefak Unified Modeling Language (UML) untuk menjembatani kesenjangan komunikasi antara perancang dan pengembang sistem. Di samping itu, dibahas pula tantangan utama dalam hal metrik evaluasi dan pertimbangan etis dalam desain gamifikasi. Kontribusi utama dari penelitian ini adalah sintesis komparatif yang menyediakan panduan berbasis bukti bagi peneliti dan praktisi dalam merancang sistem gamifikasi yang tidak hanya menarik dan fungsional, tetapi juga bertanggung jawab secara sosial dan etis.

Abstract

The expansion of the internet has revolutionized how businesses engage with global customers, significantly altering commerce and daily life in Indonesia. This digital transformation has led to the rapid growth of e-commerce, fostering innovation in digital business practices and the emergence of new marketplaces. This study investigates the influence of flash sales on impulsive purchasing behavior, considering the mediating role of positive emotions among Shopee users in Malang City. Employing a quantitative, explanatory descriptive methodology, data were gathered from 300 respondents using purposive sampling. The results indicate that: 1) Flash sales have a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying behavior, 2) Positive emotions also positively and significantly affect impulsive buying behavior, and 3) Positive emotions significantly mediate the relationship between flash sales and impulsive buying behavior on Shopee.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the importance of efficiency in implementing the Stack data structure, which is widely used in various programming applications such as mathematical expression evaluation, memory management, and undo/redo features. Two common approaches, namely Array and Linked List, each have their advantages and disadvantages in terms of execution efficiency, memory usage, and flexibility. This study compares the implementation of the Stack data structure using these two approaches, focusing on execution time efficiency, memory usage, and size flexibility. Using an experimental method, the implementation was conducted in C++ programming language through scenarios such as mathematical expression evaluation and undo/redo features. The results show that the Array approach is more efficient for static data access, while the Linked List excels in size flexibility and dynamic memory allocation for variable data. The study concludes that the choice of approach depends on the specific application requirements. These findings are expected to assist software developers in selecting the appropriate Stack implementation method.

Abstract

Peraturan Desa (Perdes) merupakan suatu peraturan perundang-undangan yang dibahas dan disepakati oleh Kepala Desa bersama Badan Permusyawaratan Desa (BPD), yang kemudian ditetapkan oleh Kepala Desa. Seperti Peraturan Desa Merabuan Nomor 4 Tahun 2020 Tentang Larangan Menyetrum, Meracun dan Mengebom Ikan dan Udang di Sungai di Wilayah Desa Merabuan. Dimana Perdes ini terbentuk berawal dari laporan masyarakat terkait maraknya kegiatan penyetruman di Sungai Desa Merabuan yang menyebabkan sebagian besar masyarakat dirugikan dari kagiatan penyetruman tersebut. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu: Bagaimana efektivitas dalam menjaga ekosistem di sungai Desa Merabuan perspektif Peraturan Desa Merabuan Nomor 4 Tahun 2020 Tentang Larangan Menyetrum, Meracun dan Mengebom Ikan dan Udang di Sungai di Wilayah Desa Merabuan dan apa saja faktor penghambat dan pendukung dalam menjaga ekosistem di sungai Desa Merabuan perspektif Peraturan Desa Merabuan Nomor 4 Tahun 2020 Tentang Larangan Menyetrum, Meracun dan Mengebom Ikan dan Udang di Sungai di Wilayah Desa Merabuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif merupakan sebuah metode penelitian yang berdasarkan persepsi pada suatu fenomena dengan pendekatan datanya menghasilkan analisis deskriptif berupa kalimat secara lisan dari objek penelitian. Untuk memperoleh data yang diperlukan, peneliti menggunakan observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang di dapat, bahwa efektivitas dalam menjaga ekosistem di Sungai Desa Merabuan Perspektif Peraturan Desa Nomor 4 Tahun 2020 Tentang Larangan Menyetrum, Meracun dan Mengebom Ikan dan Udang di Sungai di Wilayah Desa Merabuan telah berjalan dengan efektif. Dikarenakan dengan berjalannya waktu setelah di tetapkannya Perdes Merabuan ini, sudah tidak ditemukannya masyarakat Desa Merabuan yang melanggar peraturan tersebut, dan meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya menjaga ekosistem terutama ekosistem sungai. Serta meningkatnya hasil tangkapan dari para nelayan di Sungai Desa Merabuan. Dan yang menjadi faktor penghambatnya dikarenakan ketidaktahuan masyarakat akan Perdes tersebut dan kebiasaan masyarakat dalam menangkap ikan menggunakan alat setrum. Sedangkan yang menjadi faktor pendukungnya yaitu adanya Perdes larangan menyetrum sebagai landasan hukum bagi masyarakat, dukungan yang diberikan oleh masyarakat setelah diterbitkannya Perdes larangan menyetrum, meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya menjaga ekosistem sungai, serta kekompakan masyarakat Desa Merabuan dalam menjaga ekosistem di Sungai Desa Merabuan.

Abstract

Predicting student graduation outcomes is an important indicator for evaluating academic quality and the effectiveness of learning processes in higher education. This study aims to analyze and predict student graduation status based on academic data using the C4.5 Decision Tree algorithm. The dataset consists of 100 students from the Informatics Study Program at Universitas Pamulang, with five main attributes: Grade Point Average (GPA), attendance percentage, assignment scores, midterm examination scores, and final examination scores. The research stages include data cleaning, data transformation, model construction, and model evaluation using the 10-fold cross-validation technique to ensure performance stability. The experimental results show an accuracy of 88.74%, precision of 91.79%, recall of 95.34%, and an AUC value of 0.94, indicating that the model demonstrates strong discriminatory ability in classifying graduation outcomes. GPA and final examination scores were identified as the most influential attributes in determining graduation predictions. The resulting predictive model is expected to serve as a foundation for developing an early warning system that enables universities to identify at-risk students and support data-driven decision-making to improve educational quality.
