Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the madrasah head in increasing literacy culture at MTs Sunan Ampel KumpuIrejo Parengan Tuban, to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in increasing the iteration culture at MTs Sunan Ampel KumpuIrejo Parengan Tuban, to find out the strategy for increasing literacy culture in increasing interest in reading at MTs Sunan Ampel Kumpulrejo Parengan Tuban. This study uses a qualitative approach in which this approach produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The role of the madrasa head is as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator. 2) There are several supporting and inhibiting factors in developing a literacy culture. Supporting factors include The active role of madrasa residents, Support from parents of students. In addition, there are several inhibiting factors, namely: limited collection, and the influence of technology. 3) In developing a literacy culture, the head of MTs Sunan Ampel has several strategies used including Developing a library, Providing fiction, non-fiction, and reference books. Development of reading areas, 15-minute reading program, Development of literacy-themed madrasah activity programs.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the ideal concept of social integration patterns based on the Quran through a thematic study of verses related to social integration. In the modern context, social integration often faces challenges such as social inequality, intergroup conflicts, and lack of tolerance. The structural functionalism theory pioneered by Talcott Parsons provides a theoretical basis regarding the importance of balance in society to achieve social order. However, the concept of social integration in Islam emphasizes principles of justice, unity, and tolerance as outlined in the Quranic verses. Verses such as those in Surah Al-Hujurat (49:13) and Surah Al-Maidah (5:2) teach the importance of mutual recognition among nations and tribes, as well as cooperation in righteousness and piety. The Quran also emphasizes the importance of justice (Surah An-Nisa 4:58) and the unity of the ummah (Surah Ali Imran 3:103) as the main foundations for achieving harmonious social integration. This study finds that the ideal pattern of social integration according to the Quran is based on principles of justice, unity, mutual assistance, and recognition of differences, which, if consistently applied, can address various social challenges faced today.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang makna filosofis dari Mahkota Siger sebagai simbol identitas masyarakat Lampung, serta dinamika sosial dari simbol ini ditengah perubahan nilai masyarakat modern. Karena selama ini kajian yang ada lebih fokus pada aspek estetika dan fungsi seremonialnya. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis, penelitian ini dilakukan melalui penelitian lapangan yang melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan tiga tokoh kunci adat dan pengamatan langsung di Lampung dan sekitarnya. Temuan tersebut mengungkapkan bahwa Mahkota Siger bukan hanya benda hias dalam upacara adat, tetapi simbol budaya yang mewakili nilai-nilai moral, struktur sosial, dan kedalaman spiritual. Ini mewujudkan identitas kolektif masyarakat Pepadun melalui makna simbolis seperti "pi'il pesenggiri", status, kehormatan, dan integrasi filosofis nilai-nilai Islam terutama relevansi simbolis dari sembilan cabangnya. Namun, dalam konteks kontemporer, pergeseran makna yang signifikan telah terjadi, terutama di kalangan generasi muda yang cenderung menganggap Siger sebagai lambang budaya dekoratif tanpa memahami esensi sucinya. Pergeseran semantik ini menimbulkan ancaman bagi integritas budaya dan spiritual simbol. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan revitalisasi strategis melalui pendidikan budaya, dialog antargenerasi, dan keterlibatan kelembagaan yang lebih kuat dari para pemimpin adat untuk melestarikan dimensi materi dan immaterial Mahkota Siger. Memperkuat nilai-nilainya baik di ruang budaya formal maupun informal sangat penting untuk memastikan keberlanjutannya dalam menghadapi tantangan sosial-budaya modern.
