Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the madrasah head in increasing literacy culture at MTs Sunan Ampel KumpuIrejo Parengan Tuban, to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in increasing the iteration culture at MTs Sunan Ampel KumpuIrejo Parengan Tuban, to find out the strategy for increasing literacy culture in increasing interest in reading at MTs Sunan Ampel Kumpulrejo Parengan Tuban. This study uses a qualitative approach in which this approach produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The role of the madrasa head is as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator. 2) There are several supporting and inhibiting factors in developing a literacy culture. Supporting factors include The active role of madrasa residents, Support from parents of students. In addition, there are several inhibiting factors, namely: limited collection, and the influence of technology. 3) In developing a literacy culture, the head of MTs Sunan Ampel has several strategies used including Developing a library, Providing fiction, non-fiction, and reference books. Development of reading areas, 15-minute reading program, Development of literacy-themed madrasah activity programs.

Abstract

Description of the subject's behavior processes according to the focus of the problem under study. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The data used are primary and secondary data. To check the validity of the data using the triangulation method. The data analysis technique uses descriptive techniques with four steps, namely: (1) data collection or data collection (2) data reduction or data reduction (3) display data or data presentation (4) conclusion. The results showed that currently the MTs. Al-Hasanuddin of Pasuruan City, the concept of school development in improving competitiveness is in accordance with the concept of vision, mission, and objectives, quality of learning in accordance with the national curriculum, outstanding students both academically and non-academically An Nashr in understanding the Qur'an, improving facilities and infrastructure with stakeholder participation. The implementation of a curriculum administration strategy that is good for improving the quality of human resources (teachers and students), implementing discipline of teachers and students, establishing good relations with local communities, involving local communities in school activities, then improving quality with 14 steps according to Crosby, and Implications in this study in the form of customer satisfaction, a climate that is conducive, pleasant, orderly and quality in accordance with the expectations of the community so that it can attract market attention (community) to send their children to school at Al-Hasanuddin Junior High School, Pasuruan City.

Abstract

Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) was launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Research and Technology to support the readiness of students to face challenges in the world of work by applying active learning. Documentary institutions in universities, namely libraries, archives, and museums, should become strategic partners in supporting the MBKM program because the documentary institution has all the necessary conditions, facilities, and infrastructure to succeed MBKM program. This study aimed to determine the problem of program implementation faced by institutions in the private universities in East Java and what obstacles they encountered. This study used the qualitative method and in-depth interviews for data collection and a literature study. The researcher concludes that the biggest challenges facing institutions are lack of information,  regulation and the readiness of resources. Due to this, changes to regulations and educational curricula and the introduction of new documentation of pure science are priorities in improving professional education.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) To analyze the Islamic Character of Students MI AL KARIMAH Mojokerto City. 2) To analyze the Madrasah Principal's Strategy for Islamic Character Building at MI AL KARIMAH Mojokerto City.3) To find out the supporting and inhibiting factors faced in the implementation of the Flagship Program at MI AL KARIMAH Mojokerto City.The research method is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. There are two types of secondary and primary data to support this research. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. data analysis techniques using data collection, reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To test credibility in this study using triangulation. The results showed: 1) the Islamic character of students at MI Al Karimah is evident in the behavior of students, 2) The Principal's strategy in the formation of Islamic character in MI Al Karimah is planning, organizing, implementing, supervising and evaluating superior programs, namely: yaumiyah practice, reading and writing the Quran, Anjangsana and Muhadhoroh once a month. Supporting factors are: 1) Support from the school principal. 2) Cooperation of all teachers. 3) Support from parents of students. 4) School environment. The inhibiting factors in the formation of students with Islamic character are: parental supervision, children's socialization outside of school, lack of facilities and infrastructure in the form of school prayer rooms
