Abstract

Dalam rangka menyiapkan bangkitnya generasi emas Indonesia tahun 2045, diperlukan pembangunan pendidikan dalam perspektif masa depan, yaitu mewujudkan masyarakat Indonesia yang berkualitas, maju, mandiri dan modern serta meningkatkan harkat dan martabat bangsa. Keberhasilan dalam membangun pendidikan akan memberikan kontribusi besar pada pencapaian tujuan pembangunan nasional secara keseluruhan. Dalam konteks demikian, pembangunan pendidikan itu mencakup berbagai dimensi yang sangat luas, yaitu dimensi sosial, budaya, ekonomi dan politik. Cita-cita dan impian Indonesia untuk tahun 2085 adalah berdaulat, maju, adil dan makmur. Untuk itu harus didukung dengan empat pilar yang menopangnya, yakni 1) pembangunan SDM dan penguasaan Iptek, 2) perkembangan ekenomi berkelanjutan, 3) pemerataan pembangunan, dan 4) ketahanan nasional dan tatakelola pemerintahan. Untuk itu, dalam pembangunan yang berkelanjutan, Indonesia telah ikut menyepakati Document Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) dengan salah satu fokus pada tujuan secara global peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Implementasi kesepakatan tersebut telah dikeluarkan Peraturan Presiden No. 59 Tahun 2017 tentang Pelaksanaan Pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan, antara lain dengan menetapkan tujuan global pendidikan yakni “Menjamin kualitas pendidikan yang inklusif dan merata serta meningkatkan kesempatan belajar sepanjang hayat untuk semua”.    Kata Kunci : Pendidikan Karakter, Keagamaan, Generasi Emas

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in improving student learning outcomes in Economics subjects at class X.E9 of SMAN 1 Mukomuko. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in three cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 32 students, consisting of 11 males and 21 females. Data were collected through observation of student learning activities and learning outcome tests (pre-test and post-test). The results showed that the application of the PBL model effectively enhanced students' learning activity and outcomes. Student activity increased from 79% (cycle I) to 90% (cycle II), and reached 100% (cycle III). The average learning outcomes improved from 77.97 (cycle I) to 82.97 (cycle II), and further to 90.16 ( cycle III). It can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model is effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes at SMAN 1 Mukomuko.

Abstract

Research purposes This study was motivated by the low motivation of students to learn Economics which has an impact on the achievement of learning outcomes that are not optimal. Low active participation, lack of interest in the material, and disinterest in the learning process encourage the need for a more adaptive approach. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in improving student learning motivation in Economics subjects in class XI Regular of SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Bengkulu City. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects of the study consisted of one Economics teacher and 12 class XI Regular students who were selected purposively based on the level of participation and diversity of academic achievement. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of teaching materials. The research instrument was validated through expert judgment by two economics education experts. The data analysis technique used was thematic analysis with triangulation of sources and techniques. The findings showed that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum through project-based learning, differentiation, and diagnostic assessments increased student learning motivation. As many as 73% of students stated that they were more active and responsible in learning, and there was an increase in student activity scores of an average of 18% compared to the previous semester. Teachers play an important role in creating a participatory and relevant learning climate. The conclusion of this study is that the Independent Curriculum is effective in increasing student learning motivation if it is implemented consistently and adjusted to the needs of students.

Abstract

This study aims to provide a clear understanding of student’ learning activities thorough the implementation of the Discovery Learning model at SMAN 06 Bengkulu city. This research employs a descriptive analysis approach, focusing on student’ learning activities in economics lessons using the Discovery Learning model. The research subjects consisted of an economics teacher and 37 students from class X.D. the date were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation.the findings indecate that the implementation of the Discovery Learning model by the economics teacher wa carride out effectively and in accprdance with the model’s procedurl steps. The use of thid model has proven to enhance students’ learning activity and independence. Besed on the activity indicators, improvenments, engagement in independent tasks, probelem-solving activities, emotional involvement and motivation, and time management.
