Abstract

Researchers analyzed government spending on health, education, and infrastructure in influencing the human development index in NTT Province. The research data is panel data in 22 districts/cities, namely health, education, and infrastructure expenditure data for 2010-2022. Panel data regression analysis used the pooled least square method to analyze government spending. The results found that government spending on health, education, and infrastructure together (simultaneously) significantly influenced the human development index in districts/cities in NTT province. Another analysis found that government spending on health and education partially influenced the human development index significantly in the districts/municipalities of the NTT province. However, spending on infrastructure partially had no significant effect on the human development index in the districts/municipalities of the NTT province. The implications of the research are improvements in health, education, and infrastructure that can increase development.

Abstract

Semangat kewirausahaan perlu ditanamkan sejak usia dini untuk membentuk generasi muda yang kreatif, mandiri, dan bertanggung jawab. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah kurangnya pemahaman dan keterampilan dasar kewirausahaan pada anak-anak anggota SEKAMI (Serikat Kepausan Anak dan Remaja Misioner) KUB St. Mikael Liliba, khususnya terkait kreativitas, tanggung jawab, dan kerja sama dalam kegiatan produktif. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan dan mengembangkan keterampilan kewirausahaan anak melalui proses pembuatan dan pemasaran jajanan sehat berbasis jagung, yaitu JASUKE (Jagung, Susu, Keju). Mitra kegiatan adalah anak-anak anggota SEKAMI berusia 12–13 tahun yang aktif dalam kegiatan gerejawi dan pembinaan karakter. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup sosialisasi tentang kewirausahaan, pelatihan pembuatan jajanan sehat, serta praktik langsung produksi dan pemasaran JASUKE. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan antusiasme anak-anak terhadap kewirausahaan, ditandai dengan partisipasi aktif dalam setiap tahap kegiatan. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan sekaligus meningkatkan kerja sama tim di kalangan anak-anak mitra.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of budgetary slack and implementation effectiveness on the success of the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Buraen Village, South Amarasi District. The problem of high poverty and unequal distribution of PKH assistance recipients is the main background. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method and involves 84 respondents selected through purposive sampling. The analysis results show that budgetary slack has a positive and significant effect on the success of PKH with a coefficient of 0.677 (p < 0.01), while effectiveness also has a positive effect with a coefficient of 0.202 (p < 0.10). The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.735 indicates that 73.5% of the variation in PKH success can be explained by these two variables. These findings indicate that strategically managed budget flexibility and effective program implementation can increase the social impact of PKH, especially in the education, health, and economic aspects of poor households. Therefore, PKH implementing agents have an important role not only as administrative distributors, but also as adaptive decision makers in addressing the dynamics of local needs.
