Abstract

Basic education and training for Government Employee lecturers with Work Agreements (PPPK) are vital so that a PPPK lecturer understands the duties and functions of ASN within the Ministry of Education and Culture. For this reason, basic education and training for Government Servant Lecturers with Work Agreements (PPPK) is equipped with values and ethics based on the core value of ASN BerAKHLAK so that the professionalism of Government Employee Lecturers with Work Agreements (PPPK) can be formed. This education and training was provided to PPPK Wave II lecturers (Classes 8 to 15) at the Education and Training Center (Pusdiklat) of the Ministry of Education and Culture. This basic education and training activity uses a hybrid offline and online method and uses the Learning Management System (LMS) belonging to the Employee Education and Training Center, namely PIJAR. The result of this education and training is the formation of PPPK lecturers who can carry out their duties and functions professionally as community servants.

Abstract

The emergence of hoaxes in the digital era ahead of the 2024 elections which will be held simultaneously cannot be avoided. The dominance of hoaxes in elections causes polarization and distrust of the election process, especially for novice voters. This is because novice voters have a strategic role and are vulnerable to misinformation and perceptions. Therefore, it is necessary to educate novice voters regarding hoaxes as a threat to democratic and quality elections. This Community Service activity was given to students and teachers at SMA IT AL-FITYAN, Kubu Raya Regency as an effort to provide knowledge about hoaxes, raise awareness to be able to prevent and detect hoaxes and increase the political participation of novice voters in elections. This activity uses socialization methods and active participation through discussion/sharing. The result of this activity is an increase in the understanding of Al-Fityan High School students about hoaxes ahead of the 2024 election where 80% of students show a very good understanding of the hoax issue. It involves novice voters as young voters who are rational and contribute to influencing the future of the country.

Abstract

The educational result of understanding a set of behaviours practised is clean and healthy living behaviour. The purpose of this Community Service (PkM) activity is to arouse and increase public understanding, especially housewives, of the importance of implementing clean and healthy living behaviour in various order, namely workplaces, educational institutions, homes, health facilities, and public places. This PkM activity is carried out using the socialization and counselling method with several stages of implementation. The socialization and counselling method is the right method because the number of participants is 30 (thirty) people consisting of: the head of the PKK driving team and members, hamlet heads, village heads, religious leaders, community leaders, young people, and law enforcers so that it is carried out with lectures interspersed with question and answer sessions. In addition, this activity is also carried out by forming a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in order to unite the views of the Jagoi Village community regarding the material provided, namely clean and healthy living behaviour. As a result, the insight of the Jagoi Village residents regarding clean living behaviour has increased and there are actions and changes in behaviour towards a better direction. ABSTRAK Hasil edukasi dari pemahaman seperangkat perilaku yang dipraktikkan adalah perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Maksud kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini yaitu untuk menggugah serta meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat khususnya para ibu rumah tangga akan pentingnya implementasi berperilaku hidup bersih dan sehat di berbagai tatanan yaitu tempat kerja, lembaga pendidikan, rumah tinggal, fasilitas kesehatan, dan tempat publik. Kegiatan PkM ini dilaksanakan dengan metode sosialisasi dan penyuluhan dengan beberapa tahapan pelaksanaan. Metode sosialisasi dan penyuluhan merupakan metode yang tepat karena jumlah peserta sebanyak 30 (tiga puluh) orang terdiri dari dari: ketua tim penggerak PKK dan anggota, kepala dusun, kepala desa, pemuka agama, para tokoh masyarakat, kaum muda, dan penegak hukum sehingga dilakukan dengan ceramah diselingi dengan sesi tanya jawab. Selain itu, dalam kegiatan ini juga dilakukan dengan membentuk Focus Group Discussion (FGD) agar dapat menyatukan pandangan masyarakat Desa Jagoi tentang materi yang diberikan yakni perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Hasilnya, wawasan penduduk Desa Jagoi berkenaan perilaku hidup bersih semakin meningkat serta terdapatnya tindakan dan perubahan perilaku menuju arah yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kerja sama sister city antara Pemerintah Kota Singkawang dan Pemerintah Kota Miri setelah penandatanganan Letter of Intent (LoI) Friendship City, khususnya di bidang pariwisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan penelitian dasar, yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peran aktif Pemerintah Kota Singkawang dalam menindaklanjuti LoI melalui berbagai upaya, serta mengidentifikasi hambatan yang dihadapi dalam praktik paradiplomasi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi aktivitas wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan model analisis interaktif yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pemerintah Kota Singkawang berperan aktif melalui kunjungan delegasi, promosi pariwisata, dan partisipasi dalam festival HAM nasional. Hambatan yang dihadapi meliputi kegagalan komunikasi, kapasitas sumber daya manusia yang terbatas, dan kurangnya dukungan dari pemerintah pusat serta masyarakat. Pemerintah kota Singkawang disarankan mengadakan pelatihan diplomasi, membentuk kelompok kerja lintas perangkat daerah, dan meningkatkan transparansi guna mendukung keberlanjutan program sister city. Kata Kunci: Friendship City; Letter of Intent; Paradiplomasi; Pariwisata; Sister City.
