This study used a qualitative approach with a type of case study research with a descriptive research design. The results of the study, before acupressure action was taken, nausea vomiting in Mrs. M was severe nausea vomiting (18), and Mrs. D was severe nausea vomiting (20). After acupressure for 3 days, the results decreased, in Mrs. M became moderate nausea and vomiting (15), in Mrs. D became moderate nausea and vomiting (16). In conclusion, acupressure action at pericardium point 6 can reduce excessive nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women. It is hoped that patients and families can apply acupressure therapy to reduce excessive nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women.

Johannes Kupang Hospital. This study used a qualitative approach with a type of case study research with a descriptive case study research design. The subjects of this study were two patients of post sectio caesarea mothers who were determined based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The pain measurement instrument used was a pain observation sheet (faces pain score / Wong baker faces scale). The results of the study obtained, before the implementation of finger grasping, Mrs. D's pain scale was severe pain (Value 7), and Mrs. M's pain scale was severe pain (Value 8). After implementing finger grasping for 3 consecutive days with a duration of 10-15 minutes every day, the results showed a decrease in the pain scale, in Mrs. D to a mild pain scale (Value 1), and the opposite in Mrs. M to a mild pain scale (Value 2). Abstract

Anxiety during pregnancy negatively impacts women from pregnancy to delivery, potentially leading to premature birth and miscarriage. Data from the Kupang City Health Service shows that in 2022, the number of pregnant women in the third trimester at the Oesapa Community Health Center was 1,410. Anxiety can be alleviated through various non-pharmacological therapies, one of which is the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) therapy. SEFT is a healing method that combines psychological energy with prayer and spirituality. This research aims to identify the effectiveness of SEFT therapy in reducing anxiety in third trimester pregnant women at the Oesapa Community Health Center. The study is quantitative, using a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-posttest design. This involves three steps: administering a pretest to measure the dependent variable before treatment, providing experimental treatment to the subjects, and administering a posttest to measure the dependent variable after treatment. The statistical analysis results indicate that there are 44 negative ranks, meaning all 30 patients showed a decrease in anxiety levels before and after receiving SEFT therapy, with a mean rank or average decrease of 15.50. The sum of ranks is 465.00. The positive ranking results show no increase in anxiety levels in third trimester pregnant women before and after SEFT therapy, with a value of 0 for the N value, Mean rank, and Sum rank. This suggests that SEFT therapy is effective in reducing anxiety in pregnant women during the third trimester.

Abstract

Menstruation is a natural biological process that occurs in females during their reproductive years. However, many young girls lack adequate knowledge about menstruation, leading to fear and misconceptions. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of health education through video on improving knowledge about menstruation among elementary school students. A pre-experimental one-group pre-test post-test design with proportional random sampling was employed. The study involved 38 female students from SD Negeri 2 and SD Negeri 4 Penebel in April 2024. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The Shapiro-Wilk test was used to assess normality due to the small sample size (n<50). The p-value (p>0.05) indicated normal distribution of the knowledge scores. The mean score before health education was 58.68. The mean scores for posttest week 1 and week 2 were 82.89 and 87.24, respectively. Statistical analysis revealed a significant difference in knowledge scores (p=0.000), demonstrating the effectiveness of the health education intervention. The study highlights the importance of health education in improving knowledge about menstruation among elementary school students. Schools should incorporate menstruation education into their curriculum to empower girls with accurate information and dispel misconceptions.

Abstract

Malnutrition or undernutrition is a condition where a person has below average nutrition. Undernutrition is caused by a person lacking intake of carbohydrates, protein, fat and vitamins that are very much needed by the body. The purpose of the study was to obtain an overview of the educational method for providing additional food to parents with undernourished toddlers at the Alak Health Center. This type of research is a study using a descriptive design using a case study approach method to explore the educational method for providing additional food to children with undernourishment at the Alak Health Center. The subjects of the case study were 3 toddler patients who experienced undernourishment at the Alak Health Center. The results of this study showed an increase in respondents' knowledge about providing additional food to toddlers with undernourishment. This proves that education on providing additional food with the counseling method and flipchart media can increase knowledge about providing additional food to toddlers with undernourishment. Providing education with the counseling method using flipchart media can increase mothers' knowledge about providing additional food to toddlers with undernourishment.
