Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang desain didaktis pada materi benda sekitarku subtema perubahan wujud benda, sehingga mampu mengatasi learning obstacle yang dialami siswakelas III SDN 91 Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model penelitian Didactical Design Research (DDR). Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 24 orang siswa kelas III dan 1 orang guru wali kelas III. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa wawancara kepada guru, pemberian berupa tes, catatan lapangan dan rekaman video. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, melalui implementasi desain didaktis yang telah dilakukan dapat membantu mengatasi atau mengurangi learning obstacle yang dialami siswa pada materi materi benda sekitarku subtema perubahan wujud benda karena adanya perubahan signifikan dilihat dari hasil tes identifikasi akhir siswa yang diberikan setelah penerapan desain didaktis. Selain itu, desain didaktis mampu menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang menyenangkan bagi siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi hambatan belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Purwa Agung pada materi perkalian bilangan desimal, yang meliputi ontogenic obstacle, epistemological obstacle, dan didactical obstacle. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif Didactical Design Research (DDR) untuk mengidentifikasi hambatan tersebut. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Purwa Agung. Hambatan belajar diidentifikasi melalui analisis tes diagnostik, RPP, bahan ajar, serta wawancara dengan guru dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga jenis hambatan: ontogenic obstacle, di mana siswa kurang terlibat dan menganggap matematika sulit; epistemological obstacle, yang mencakup kesalahan dalam menulis kalimat matematika, menentukan hasil perkalian, strategi, titik desimal, serta menyelesaikan soal cerita; dan didactical obstacle, berupa pemilihan media ajar dan sumber belajar yang kurang tepat. Kesimpulannya, hambatan belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh ketiga faktor yaitu ontogenic obstacle, epistemological obstacle, dan didactical obstacle.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of finding out the application of problem based learning in economic activity material in the science and science subject for class IV SDN 4 Air Kumban. In this application research, researchers used qualitative methode. Data collection techniques in this research were obtained from the result of interviews, observasions and test. The result of the research show that it can be implemented well. The application of problem based learning to economic activity material in the social science subject for class IV can foster enjoyable learning and student activity result increase by 90% in the verry good category because in its application students leam while working in groups and exchanging ideas together with their friends which makes learning possible more fun, collaborative and effective. And after implementing problem based learning, student learning outcomes experienced an increase 90% from the previous 20% in the economic activity material of the science and technology subject for class IV SDN 4 Air Kumbang. Abstract

Design Thinking is a creative approach to solving human-centered problems, emphasizing empathy, ideation, prototyping, and testing solutions. This approach is useful in creating student-centered learning innovations, providing positive experiences, and increasing learning engagement and outcomes. In the context of education, Design Thinking helps educators understand student needs through five stages: empathy, definition, ideation, prototype, and testing. Implementation of this method allows learning to be more effective, efficient, and interesting. This Community Service (PkM) is designed to socialize the concept of Design Thinking to educators through the delivery of materials and direct practice. The stages of activity include preparation, implementation: pretest, delivery of materials along with examples of design thinking concepts, creating interview instruments, reflection, and posttest, and program evaluation. Participants are trained to understand the concept of Design Thinking, identify implementation challenges, and create instruments to find and solve educational problems. The results obtained from this PkM activity are: (1) the average increase in understanding of the material on Design Thinking using N-Gain is 0.50, included in the moderate category (2) recapitulation of participant satisfaction with the PkM activities that have been carried out by the PkM team of the Mathematics Education and PPG Study Program obtained an average of 83.7% of participants strongly agree and 36.3% agree. From the results of this PkM activity, it can improve the competence of educators in implementing Design Thinking as an innovative learning method that is centered on students, so that "Design Thinking can Develop Creative Competence and Student Mindsets.
