Abstract

Dengan memanfaatkan Building Information Modelling (BIM) dalam perencanaan dan pembangunan Green Building, para pelaku di bidang konstruksi dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam merancang bangunan yang ramah lingkungan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui penerapan Building Information Modelling pada perencanaan Green Building dan mengetahui tahap perencanaan pencahayaan alami sebagai salah satu tolak ukur penilaian Green Building pada pembangunan Gedung Sipil Kampus 2 Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang (PNUP). Pada penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan perancangan Layout Gedung Sipil Kampus 2 PNUP, pemodelan bangunan dimensi ke-3 dan perancangan komposisi bukaan (jendela) dengan visualisasi pada tools Visualize menggunakan Tekla Structures 2023 versi student, melakukan pemodelan bangunan menggunakan DIALux Evo 11.1 sesuai perancangan komposisi bukaan (jendela) dan terakhir melakukan kalkulasi tingkat pencahayaan (lux) pada setiap ruangan menggunakan DIALux Evo 11.1 dengan rentang waktu 30 menit. Sehingga diperoleh nilai intensitas cahaya (lux) rata-rata dari seluruh ruangan pada bangunan dengan full fasad kaca tersebut mendapatkan nilai intensitas cahaya 2375,23 lux dengan suhu 41 °C dimana bangunan ini telah memenuhi kriteria pencahayaan alami minimal sebesar 300 lux tetapi belum memenuhi kriteria kenyamanan termal ruangan secara umum 25°C pada perencanaan bangunan Gedung Sipil Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang.

Abstract

Biringkanaya and Tamalanrea sub-districts areMakassar's eastern suburbs that experience urban sprawl.Regional sprawl (urban sprawl) which occurs one of them isindicated due to uncontrolled housing cluster growth. Thephenomenon of urban sprawl has an impact on city morphology,transportation systems, environment and energy. This study aimsto analyze the distribution pattern and density level of housingclusters in Biringkanaya and Tamalanrea sub-districts throughmapping housing clusters in the region. This research method iscarried out by survey for primary data collection in the form ofhousing cluster and area using Garmin 76 CSX which will becombined with Quickbird imagery maps using Quantum GIS,then digitizing buildings from GPS data overlay and image maps.The results of this study are clear spatial data in the form of adigital map based on geographic information about the positionand density of residential clusters in Biringkaya Subdistrict andTamalanrea District, Makassar City. From the results of thisanalysis found housing cluster patterns in these two sub-districtsscattered following the Independence Pioneering arterial pathwith a spawling pattern, besides that it also uses a dominopattern and fills between one housing and another. AlsoBiringkanaya Subdistrict is the most populous sub-district of itshousing cluster compared to Kecamatan Tamalanrea.

Abstract

Current understanding of students’ mobility patterns often overlooks the integration of perceptual experiences with spatial behavior, particularly in rapidly urbanizing Global South contexts where informal infrastructures and cognitive factors critically shape mobility. This study addresses this gap by analyzing route preference determinants at Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang using mental map sketches (n=165), questionnaires, and GIS-based spatial analysis. Key findings reveal: 1) dense morning commutes within 500m of campus versus afternoon dispersal into alternative routes up to 2km; 2) distance (r = 0.876, p < 0.01) and travel time (r = 0.699, p < 0.01) dominate choices, outweighing convenience (r = 0.196, p < 0.05); and 3) gendered behaviors, with 65% of alternative route users were males. The findings validate Hägerstrand’s Time-Geography model and recommend arterial corridor optimization and safety retrofits, advancing an equitable framework for campus mobility planning.
