Abstract

Limited understanding among cat owners regarding skin diseases in cats can have significant implications for the well-being of both cats and humans in the future. Certain skin conditions in cats are not confined to the animals themselves but can be transmitted to humans and other animals. To address such challenges, the development of an expert system for diagnosing skin diseases in cats is proposed. The study was conducted at Cat’s Petshop and Animal Clinic in Grand Depok City. Data were gathered through interviews with Drh. Atiek and Drh. Zeta, veterinarians at the location. The interviews identified six prevalent types of skin diseases in cats. Key issues include the manual recording system at the clinic, lengthy examination queues due to veterinarians’ packed schedules, and the limited knowledge of pet owners regarding symptoms of skin diseases in cats, which delays the diagnostic process. A solution was implemented by designing an expert system for diagnosing skin diseases in cats using the certainty factor method, which quantifies the confidence level of experts in their diagnoses. The application assists cat owners in identifying the type of skin condition affecting their pets. The certainty factor method enhances accuracy by accounting for uncertainty in calculations. The expert system yields positive outcomes. Primarily, it accelerates the examination of skin diseases in cats at Cat’s Petshop Depok. Additionally, it improves the precision of preliminary diagnoses. The deployment of the application saves time for pet owners and reduces waiting times at the clinic. The diagnostic accuracy aligns with the certainty factor calculation approach, addressing uncertainties in results. Overall, the expert system employing the certainty factor method offers an effective solution to overcome the lack of understanding among cat owners about skin diseases. The application facilitates early symptom recognition, enhances time efficiency, and improves diagnostic precision.

Abstract

Korean language serves as the primary means of communication among the people of Korea. Learning Korean can be pursued through formal courses; however, such methods often face challenges, including limited meeting schedules and the necessity for face-to-face interaction. An alternative approach to studying Korean is through mobile learning platforms. The present study focuses on designing an Android-based application for learning Korean. The development methodology adopted is Rapid Application Development (RAD), which comprises three phases: Requirements Planning, Design Workshop, and Implementation. Data for the study were collected through questionnaires distributed to members of the “INDOMY” group. The outcome of the research is an educational application aimed at facilitating the pronunciation of Korean vocabulary by utilizing text derived from Korean song lyrics.

Abstract

In the contemporary digital landscape, the rental of goods has become a vital service model, driven by demands for accessibility. Kedai Kamera Depok, located in Depok City, Indonesia, is a key provider of camera rental services. However, customers often face significant challenges in accessing reliable information about item availability and specifications. As the business grows, it struggles to market its offerings effectively. This study employs the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, encompassing phases like Requirements Gathering, Design Workshop, and Implementation. Data was collected via structured questionnaires from Kedai Kamera Depok’s customers, ensuring user needs are integrated. The research aims to develop an Android-based reservation system for camera rentals, enabling seamless booking through mobile devices. Designed to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency, this system seeks to address informational gaps and improve service delivery. The findings are expected to contribute to digital transformation in service-oriented businesses, offering a replicable model for similar enterprises facing comparable challenges in localized.

Abstract

The research objectives are to design a web-based application that can help make the best employee selection report process easy and fast, design an application that can calculate normalization to determine criteria and weights according to the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method, and design an application that can manage data -Alternative data needed for the selection of the best employees. The stages of data collection in this study consisted of 3 (three) stages namely; observation, interview, and literature study. UML (Unified Modeling Language) is used as an approach for modeling while the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is applied in the best employee assessment application. The results of this study can facilitate the selection of the best employees to be faster with accurate results by using the best employee selection application by implementing the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method using the PHP and MySQL programming languages.

Abstract

PT. Yudita Teratai Cakti is a company that carries out the hiring process independently or does not use the services of an outsourcing company. In the process of hiring employees, usually PT. Yudita Teratai Cakti uses advertising services in print media such as newspapers and online media such as Facebook and others. In the employee recruitment process at PT. Yudita Teratai Cakti is carried out by the personnel department by selecting and selecting one by one the data of applicants who enter the selection process for prospective employees at the acceptance of new employees at PT. Yudita Teratai Cakti, with the need to apply for a job this system was built, namely carrying out a selection process for prospective employees who applied for work at PT Yudita Teratai Cakti, it is hoped that this system can carry out the selection process using the profile matching calculation method used in this study to be able to provide decision-making information New Employee Recruitment. In order for the implementation of the selection of new employees to meet the demands and expectations of the company, a correlation is needed between the preparation of the test questions and the determined test criteria so that the test results for each new employee show the potential value of each new employee on each of the specified criteria. The decision support system with the profile matching method can assist the role of management or managers in supporting PT. Yudita Teratai Cakti which has objective value with a more effective time.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology demands digitalization across various public service sectors, including child health systems at Posyandu (Integrated Health Service Posts). Posyandu Kenanga Depok conducts monthly child health monitoring activities to ensure nutritional status and child development. However, the manual recording system for Child Health Cards (Kartu Sehat Balita/KSB) creates various operational problems. Posyandu cadres experience difficulties in data recording processes, information storage, and monthly report generation. Additionally, paper-based KSB held by parents are prone to loss and damage, resulting in poorly documented child development data. This research aims to develop a web-based KSB application to address these problems using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology. The RAD method was chosen for its ability to accelerate system development processes by actively involving users in every development stage. The application was developed using PHP programming language, CodeIgniter 4 framework, MySQL database, and Visual Studio Code editor. The system is designed with three user levels: Posyandu cadres for managing child data and generating reports, parents for monitoring child development, and doctors for managing immunization and vitamin data. Development results demonstrate that the application successfully automates child data recording processes, facilitates monthly report generation, and enables parents to access child development information in real-time. The system also provides growth chart visualizations and immunization schedule reminders to support optimal child health monitoring.

Abstract

Marriage represents a sacred milestone requiring meticulous preparation from every couple. CV. Ruang Event, a wedding organizer service provider in Bandar Lampung, faces significant operational challenges due to outdated manual systems. Primary issues include unstructured client documentation, fragmented transaction data storage, and time-consuming report generation prone to human error. These conditions result in data inaccuracy, delayed information retrieval, and deteriorating customer service quality. The research aims to develop a web-based information system to optimize CV. Ruang Event's business processes using the Waterfall methodology. Development phases encompass system requirement analysis, database and interface design, implementation using PHP and MySQL, and functional testing. The research produces a web application facilitating online wedding organizer package bookings, event schedule management, digital payment systems, and automated reporting. Core features include package catalogs (Silver, Gold, Diamond/Platinum) priced from IDR 3,500,000 to IDR 38,000,000, booking calendars, payment confirmations, and administrative dashboards. Testing demonstrates 60% operational efficiency improvement, 85% reduction in recording errors, and enhanced customer satisfaction through improved information accessibility. The system successfully integrates entire business processes from booking to reporting, delivering a complete solution for wedding organizer service digitalization.

Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to develop a warehouse inventory application utilizing the Google Appsheet platform, specifically designed for ACE Hardware Cibinong City Mall. The application aims to streamline the recording and monitoring processes of goods entering and exiting the warehouse. This application is designed to provide comprehensive and informative reports on the inventory levels and the distribution of goods. The development approach employed is the Waterfall methodology, which includes stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The sample data for the inventory were sourced from the ACE Hardware Cibinong City Mall warehouse to ensure the application meets the specific needs and characteristics of the warehouse. The resulting application features essential functionalities for inputting inventory data and managing the structured recording of goods movements. Additionally, it can generate detailed reports that offer insights into the current status of warehouse inventory. Thus, this application is expected to enhance efficiency and accuracy in warehouse inventory management, providing a valuable solution for ACE Hardware Cibinong City Mall.

Abstract

In this modern era, technology is advancing rapidly, allowing for the search of tofu factories using smartphones. This study aims to develop an application to locate tofu factories in Depok City utilizing GIS (Geographic Information System) technology and GPS (Global Positioning System) integrated with the Android Google Maps platform. The application is designed to facilitate the public in finding the nearest tofu factory locations. This Android-based tofu factory search application employs Location Based Service (LBS) methods to provide real-time location information. The primary objective of this research is to simplify the process for the community in Depok to find tofu factories, thereby improving efficiency and saving time. Additionally, this application is expected to assist tofu factory owners in attracting more customers by providing accurate and accessible location information. The methodology includes literature review, direct observation, and application development using Java programming language in Android Studio. The results show that the application significantly simplifies the process for the community in Depok to find tofu factories, improving efficiency and saving time. Abstract

This study aims to design and develop the application of web -based employee payroll systems at Mitra Tani Mandiri Foundation using the Waterfall method. Efficient and accurate payroll process is a crucial factor in organizational management, especially in Mitra Tani Mandiri Foundation which has employees with various responsibilities and roles. The waterfall method was chosen because of the systematic development stage, starting from the needs analysis to the maintenance stage. The needs analysis phase involves collecting data related to the existing payroll process, employee needs, and management requirements. The design stage includes planning an intuitive user interface, structured database design, and a comprehensive system implementation plan. Implementation is done by building applications according to the specifications that have been designed, involving programming, developing databases, and integration of various components. The testing phase aims to ensure the application is functioning properly, accurately, and according to purpose. The results of this study are web -based payroll systems applications that are expected to improve the efficiency of the payroll process, reduce the potential for human errors, and provide transparency of salary information to employees. The implementation of this application is expected to have a positive impact on the management of human resources and the overall operations of the foundation
