Abstract

The importance of mathematics in everyday life is the reason students are expected to understand and be able to apply the mathematics learning they have received at school. One of the abilities in mathematics is problem-solving ability. Abstract mathematics requires concrete learning media so that it is more acceptable to students in elementary schools during learning. The media that is currently frequently used is IT-based learning media. One is augmented reality, which integrates two-dimensional media into three dimensions. This research tests whether increased reality-based learning media can improve problem-solving abilities. The data analysis used is the normality test, paired sample t-test, and normalized gain test. The research results show that augmented reality-based learning media can improve students' problem-solving abilities

Abstract

This study aims to apply the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in the learning process in Elementary Schools. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, this study describes how the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is implemented by teachers. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation at SDN Jomblang 05 Semarang and analyzed by data triangulation. The results of the study indicate that teachers have implemented learning in accordance with the five stages of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model syntax. Each stage runs effectively and has a positive impact on students' activeness, critical thinking skills, collaboration skills, and sense of responsibility in the learning process. In addition, the application of the Problem Based Learning model has an impact on the level of student understanding related to the material and students are more active in learning because they are involved in every learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perspektif Islam dalam membangun kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan peserta didik guna mengurangi dampak perubahan iklim. Metode yang digunakan adalah naratif literatur review, yang mencakup analisis berbagai literatur yang relevan, baik dari sumber-sumber ilmiah maupun agama Islam. Kesadaran lingkungan menjadi semakin krusial dalam menghadapi tantangan global perubahan iklim, yang berdampak signifikan terhadap kehidupan manusia dan alam. Islam sebagai agama yang holistik memiliki prinsip-prinsip dan ajaran yang mendorong pemeliharaan lingkungan dan tanggung jawab manusia sebagai khalifah di bumi. Hasil dari literatur review ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam pendidikan lingkungan dapat memperkuat pemahaman peserta didik tentang pentingnya menjaga keseimbangan alam. Selain itu, pendekatan ini juga mendorong tindakan nyata dalam upaya pelestarian lingkungan berdasarkan ajaran Al-Quran dan Hadist. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyarankan implementasi kurikulum pendidikan lingkungan yang berbasis nilai-nilai Islam untuk membangun kesadaran lingkungan yang lebih mendalam dan berkelanjutan di kalangan peserta didik.

Abstract

Generation Alpha has unique characteristics from previous generations. This generation grows up surrounded by technology and easily accessible information. Therefore, it is important to equip them with strong character education in order to become a resilient and noble generation. This research aims to find out the values of Lima Palembang Semende that are internalised and manifested in the daily behaviour of individuals, thus providing the formation and strengthening of the Alpha generation's character. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection from structured interviews, documentation and literature review related to cultural values in character building with Semende customs. Miles & Huberman data collection technique with 4 stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the local cultural values of the Five Palambang of Semende Custom (jale, axe, kujur, guji and tebat) can shape and strengthen character education such as honesty, trustworthiness, mutual cooperation, deliberation to strengthen the character of the Alpha generation. These values can be instilled in the Alpha Generation through various activities that are appropriate to their age and development. Explicitly, these findings provide an interaction between the five symbols of Semende custom with the alpha generation who are familiar with digital technology such as reinterpretation of virtual reality technology by creating game characters with cultural and moral values such as justice, gotong royong. Furthermore, cultural hybridisation, where the alpha generation can combine traditional values with modern lifestyles. This research provides recommendations for stakeholders in education, culture, and society to work together in preserving the local cultural values of the Five Palembang Adat Semende with digital technology has great potential to strengthen the character and moral education of the Alpha generation.
