Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe contextual learning about financial math problems for secondary high school students. This study begins with development research of learning tools using the 4-D model of Thiagarajan which consists of defined, designed, developed, and disseminated. The research subjects were students of grade 9 of SMK Prapanca 2 Surabaya. Three classes were randomly selected as a pilot test class, experimental class, and control class. The pilot class and the experimental class used a contextual learning model. While the control class uses a conventional learning model. The results showed that classical learning reached 9.268% of the experimental class students increased by 75% of the maximum score, effective student activity during learning, the ability of teachers to manage effective learning, and student responses to positive learning. While the classical learning completeness for the control class is classified as incomplete because only 78.05% of students exceed 75% of the maximum score. Based on inferential statistical analysis, the conclusions obtained from this study are the learning outcomes of students who take contextual learning better than the learning outcomes of students who take conventional learning.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Contextual Learning, Financial Mathematics Problems

Abstract

The high potential of hydrometeorological disasters threatens the livelihoods of the community, especially the people of Tumbang Tahai Village, Socialization of hydrometeorological disaster mitigation aims to increase public awareness of the potential of hydrometeorological disasters that threaten people's lives. Data logger and Android mobile is a system that utilizes ultrasonic waves to determine the height or distance of water from the ground. The method carried out by socialization introduces as well as utilizes the data logger system and Android mobile as a basis for hydrometeorological disaster mitigation. The findings of the hydrometeorological disaster mitigation socialization activities revealed that the community tends not to know about Hydrometeorological disaster mitigation. Training and mentoring are carried out by the community service team to the Tumbang Tahai community through hydrometeorological disaster mitigation based on data loggers and android mobile can provide maximum benefits for the people of Tumbang Tahai Village.

Abstract

Disposing of domestic waste into the river remains a common practice among the majority of residents along the Kahayan River in Palangka Raya City impacting pollution, flooding, and public health. This study aims to analyze variables influencing people's intention to support domestic waste management activities. The study was conducted in Mendawai and Flamboyan Bawah, densely populated settlements on the banks of the Kahayan River in Palangka Raya City. One hundred respondents were selected with a non-probability technique and interviewed to obtain information on infrastructure (X1), economy (X2), location (X3), institutions and regulations (X4), and waste management information (X5) aspects. Descriptive statistics was utilized to understand respondent characteristics and Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) was applied to determine the effect of each variable. This study found that the majority of respondents were women (n = 44), housewives (n = 40), and over 35 years old (n = 46). The analysis results show that increasing the information aspect of waste management will increase the community's intention to support domestic waste management activities by 40.1% (P = 0.001). Meanwhile, increasing the institutional and regulatory aspects has an effect of 29.2% (P = 0.002). The other three variables did not show significant results (P > 0.05). The results of this study reveal that the community's intention to support domestic waste management activities is influenced by the informational, institutional and regulatory aspects. Establishing community-based institutions that able to provide ongoing support presents a viable strategy for promoting sustainable behavioral change.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas strategi pendidikan Agama Islam dalam meningkatkan kompetensi digital wanita karier di era transformasi digital. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif berbasis studi pustaka, penelitian ini menganalisis integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam pengembangan literasi dan etika digital bagi perempuan Muslim yang aktif di dunia kerja. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Agama Islam dapat menjadi fondasi kuat dalam membentuk karakter digital yang beretika, memperkuat spiritualitas, serta mendorong adaptasi teknologi yang bertanggung jawab. Strategi yang diusulkan meliputi pengembangan kurikulum terintegrasi antara keterampilan digital dan nilai-nilai Islam, penggunaan platform pembelajaran Islami, serta pembentukan komunitas belajar yang mendukung pemberdayaan perempuan secara spiritual dan profesional.

Abstract

The Gresikpedia application program is a priority program for the Regent of Gresik Nawakarsa who is incorporated into Karsa One, namely Gresik AKAS. The purpose of this research is to describe the Evaluation of the Gresikpedia Application Program at the Communication and Informatics Office of Gresik Regency. The research focus is based on program evaluation indicators according to Bridgman and Davis including: Input, Process, Outputs, Outcomes. This type of research is qualitative descriptive approach. Observation data collection techniques, interviews, documentation. Results. input, which has not been implemented optimally, lies in the aspect of human resources and aspects of supporting infrastructure. The process has not been implemented optimally, because the aspect of effectiveness does not yet have an SOP for managing the Gresikpedia application and the aspect of efficiency is that many people do not know about the Gresikpedia application program. Outputs have not been implemented optimally because the number of Gresikpedia application downloads has not met the predetermined target. Outcomes, carried out optimally, because the positive impact aspects of the Gresikpedia application program have been felt by the community and the negative aspects of obstacles can still be overcome. Suggestion: Input, add human resources to manage the CCTV sub menu, the Gresikpedia program manager can simplify, more flexible the rules for granting permission to upload information with added features. Process, making SOPs for managing the Gresikpedia application, as well as the need for a guidebook for using the Gresikpedia application, conducting socialization evenly to the wider community, it is necessary to make video tutorials for using the Gresikpedia application to be distributed via YouTube, other social media and during direct socialization.
