Abstract

The discussion of this study is related to the factors causing aggressive behavior that is dominant in Mappi students. This study aims: (1) to determine the factors causing riotous (aggressive) behavior (2) to determine the types of riotous behavior possessed by Mappi students in Yogyakarta.This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive case study. This research was conducted at the Sanata Dharma University Student Dormitory, Jl. Jenengan Raya, Maguwoharjo, Depok District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. The implementation of this research was from December 22 to January 17, 2024. The subjects of this study were 5 people, consisting of 4 employees of the Sanata Dharma University Student Dormitory and 1 shop owner. Data collection techniques used interviews, data analysis techniques managed and prepared data, read all data. Analyze by coding data, apply the coding process to describe the things to be analyzed.Results: There were 4 causes of the riots, namely: differences in stance, culture, affairs, community values. There are 4 types of behavior, namely: hate, achieving goals, spontaneous, revenge. Conclusion: Aggressive behavior of Mappi students is caused by unhealthy friendships and genetic factors. The type of behavior of Mappi students is closed social behavior.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to : 1) understand and describe the academic behavior of students who are addicted to online gambling, 2) as well as to identify the impacts affecting the academic performance of those students. This research employs a qualitative method, with data collection conducted through non-participant observation and interviews. The subjects of the study are focused on Guidance and Counseling students at Sanata Dharma University who are addicted to online gambling. The data analysis techniques used include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that online gambling disrupts students' cognitive abilities, leading to cognitive fatigue and negatively affecting their academic behavior, which in turn disrupts their academic activities and results in a decline in both academic and non-academic performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of self-efficacy and emotional maturity and the relationship between the two in junior high school students who participate in scouting extracurricular activities. This study uses a quantitative correlational method, involving 95 students from St. Aloysius Turi Junior High School as a sample.

Abstract

Media PeKaD merupakan bentuk dari sebuah media pembelajaran berupa kartu yang berisi poin pernyataan yang mengarah untuk mengukur tipe kepribadian siswa berdasarkan model RIASEC. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media kartu perencanaan karier PeKaD berbasis metode RIASEC sebagai media dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling. Media ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan perencanaan karier siswa SMK. Penggunaan kartu PeKaD memungkinkan siswa untuk mengenali tipe kepribadian mereka berdasarkan teori RIASEC, yang terdiri dari enam kategori: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, dan Conventional. Metode dalam penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) menggunakan model 4D yang berisi define, design, development, dan disseminate. Hasil dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan uji kelayakan satu validator media dan satu validator ahli dinyatakan “sangat layak”. Berdasarkan penilaian oleh guru bimbingan dan konseling, media PeKaD ini dinyatakan “sangat layak”. Hasil uji efektivitas yang dilakukan terhadap siswa SMK dinalisis menggunakan Uji-T. Hasi pengujian menunjukkan peningkatan hasil antara pretest dengan postest sebesar 7.75714. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media kartu PeKaD dinyatakan layak dan efektif untuk perencanaan karier siswa SMK. Abstract

The purpose of this study are, 1) to know how high the level of self-love in adolescents, 2) to know how high the level of emotional intelligence, 3) to analyse and know whether there is a relationship between self-love and emotional intelligence, 4) to know the items of self-love scale and emotional intelligence that are identified as low which can be proposed as a guidance topic. This research method is a quantitative correlation research, this research is aimed at adolescents in grade XI of Pangudi Luhur St Yusup High School Yogyakarta. Respondents in this study totalled 132 adolescents. The measuring instrument used is a survey as well as data collection instruments for two variables, namely self-love variables and emotional intelligence variables. Items were declared valid with the validity coefficient value, namely r ≥ 0.30 and p value < 0.05, and items were declared reliable when the reliability coefficient was greater than 0.70 (r1 > 0.70). The results of the study prove, 1) The level of self-love of adolescents in class XI of SMA Pangudi Luhur St. Yusup is high. It is shown from a total of 132 respondents 61 adolescents indicated a high level of self-love. 2) The level of emotional intelligence is indicated to be medium to high. It is shown that out of 132 respondents, 61 adolescents indicated moderate, 52 adolescents indicated a high level of emotional intelligence.3) There is a very strong and positive relationship with a high level of significance. Because the correlation value between the self-love variable and the emotional intelligence variable is 0.809 Furthermore, it is known that the significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) is 0.000. This confirms that the relationship is not coincidental, but has a strong and significant statistical basis. 4) It was found that the items of the self-love and emotional intelligence variables were indicated to be low, the self-love variable items proposed 3 guidance topic themes, and emotional intelligence proposed 3 guidance topics.

Abstract

This research aims: 1. find out how high the level of student activity is in running an organization, 2. find out how high the level of critical thinking skills of students who are actively involved in organizations, 3. analyze whether there is a significant relationship between organizational activity and critical thinking skills, 4. analyze whether organizational activity can help students develop critical thinking skills. This research method uses aquantutatuve descriptiva correlation approach with the subject of Santa Dharma University’s Guidance and Counseling Study Program students who actively participate in organization totaling 70 students. The data collection technique use a questionnaire using Google Form. The analysis technique uses is validity, reliability, linearity, normality and linear regression hyphotesis tests. The research result is : 1. there is a positive relationship betweem organizational activity and students critical thinking is (R) 0.753 with significance level of 0.000. 2. the level of student organization activity is in the high category with 51% and 46 students. 3. the level of critical thinking skills of students who actively participate in organizations is in the high category with a gain of 53% and 37 students.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Rendahnya kesadaran karyawan terhadap HRM dapat menyebabkan rendahnya efektivitas dalam pengembangan kinerja individu dan organisasi. Ketidaktahuan mengenai manfaat HRM atau kurangnya motivasi untuk memanfaatkannya dapat berdampak pada stagnasi kompetensi karyawan serta rendahnya produktivitas kerja Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana pengaruh Human Resource Management (HRM) terhadap kinerja karyawan, dengan fokus pada pemanfaatan berbagai bentuk dukungan seperti pelatihan, pengembangan karier, sistem penghargaan, serta keseimbangan kerja dan kehidupan pribadi. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasi, dengan subjek 64 karyawan divisi HRD di Perusahaan Swasta. Proses pengambilan data dengan melakukan penyebaran kuesioner menggunakan google form dengan pernyataan menggunakan skala likert. Hasil dan Pembahasan : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat human resource management kepada karyawan divisi HRD pada perusahaan swasta terindikasi rendah dengan 22 dari total responden 64 berada dalam kategori rendah. Sementara tingkat employee performance terindikasi sedang, dengan 24 dari 64 karyawan menunjukan tingkat employee performance diri yang sedang. Selain itu, penelitian ini menemukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan dan positif antara human resources management dan employee performance, dengan nilai korelasi 0,291. Kesimpulan : Dengan meningkatkan aspek-aspek kunci dari HRM, organisasi dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih produktif, memotivasi karyawan untuk bekerja lebih optimal, dan pada akhirnya meningkatkan kinerja individu maupun organisasi secara keseluruhan.
