Abstract

In a context of globalization that is increasingly eroding local values and cultural identities, the integration of local wisdom into higher education curricula offers an innovative solution to preserve and enhance those values. The research aims to identify and analyse effective strategies in integrating local intelligence into the curriculum, as well as measure its impact on student character education and multicultural abilities. The methods used in this research include examining literature by looking for literature in accordance with the context of the research. The findings show that the integration of local wisdom can be realized through several ways, such as inclusion in learning materials, the establishment of extracurricular activities that focus on local values, as well as the development of a school culture that embraces local identity. This strategy not only enriches students' learning experiences by introducing them to traditional values and practices, but also strengthens character education through the internalization of values such as diversity, tolerance, and appreciation of other cultures.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze how integrating local wisdom into the entrepreneurship curriculum can improve the quality of education in secondary schools. (SMK). Local wisdom-based entrepreneurship is seen as a means of connecting traditional values with modern market requirements, enabling students to acquire culturally and professionally relevant skills. The focus of this research is to identify ways in which local intelligence concepts can be integrated into entrepreneurial education and its impact on student skills development. This research takes a qualitative approach with literary research methods, analysing articles, books and documents related to the research context. The findings of this study suggest that local wisdom, when integrated into entrepreneurship learning in SMEs, can provide double benefits. First, it creates a competitive advantage for students by combining technical knowledge with a deep cultural understanding. Second, the emphasis on local intelligence in entrepreneurship facilitates the preservation of cultural heritage, helping students develop a work ethos that is rooted in their social values as well as their environment. Unfortunately, there are still obstacles, including resistance to curriculum changes and a lack of resources for teacher training. Nonetheless, evidence suggests that the success of this concept can improve the quality of education and better respond to local economic needs and the growth of new entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in the 21st century education curriculum is an important step to prepare learners for the digital age. AI can be used to support the learning process and develop skills needed in the future. The application of AI in education brings positive impacts, especially for students, by transforming teaching methods and learning experiences. The integration of AI into the curriculum aims to build students' technological literacy and critical thinking skills. This is in line with the literacy needs of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Culture in the 21st century which includes data literacy and STEMAL (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Arts, and Language). Understanding the influence of AI and the appropriate steps to integrate it into the curriculum is an important urgency. This is done to prepare learners for the Golden Indonesia 2045 and build relevant education in the future.

Abstract

Character education refers to an approach to learning that aims to help students develop moral and ethical values, such as honesty, responsibility and empathy. The integration of these values in the curriculum and school activities along with the active support of teachers, families and communities are the main efforts for character education to build individuals who are highly ethical and responsible in every aspect of their lives. In this study, the literature research method was used. From the results, it is evident that teachers who have undergone specialised training in character education play an important role as living examples of these values. In addition, a safe and supportive school environment greatly contributes to the ethical formation of students. Another opinion states that the active participation of parents and the community also strengthens the implementation of moral values in schools through their daily behaviour. This finding proves the synergy relationship between the collaborative participation of the main institutions, namely school, family and the wider community, can empower students with strong character, have good morals and be perfectly responsible.

Abstract

The rapid development of financial technology (fintech) in Indonesia has significantly transformed the landscape of digital financing, particularly through online lending (peer-to-peer lending). These platforms provide quick and convenient access to funds, especially for underbanked segments, but also create new risks such as high interest rates, unethical collection practices, and misuse of personal data. This study aims to analyze the evolution of online lending services from a focus on speed toward security, and to examine the effectiveness of regulatory frameworks and consumer protection in Indonesia. A qualitative literature review method was employed, drawing from Scopus-indexed journals, Financial Services Authority (OJK) regulations, Law No. 27/2022 on Personal Data Protection, and international policy reports. The findings reveal that OJK Regulation No. 10/POJK.05/2022 has strengthened governance standards, interest rate caps, and consumer protection mechanisms; however, challenges remain in supervising illegal platforms, ensuring cost transparency, and improving digital financial literacy. In conclusion, the evolution of Indonesia’s online lending sector reflects a shift from speed-driven innovation to security and sustainability, where effective consumer protection relies on robust regulation, inter-agency coordination, and public awareness. Policy recommendations include enhancing technology-based supervision (regtech), expanding financial literacy programs, and conducting impact evaluations of existing regulations on consumer welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the existence of customary law as an unwritten legal source and its influence on the social value system within Indonesian society. Using a qualitative approach and a systematic literature review design, this research identifies and reviews Scopus-indexed and reputable scholarly literature discussing living law, legal pluralism, and social norms embedded in customary communities. The findings reveal that customary law functions as a living law rooted in cultural values and collective beliefs, playing a significant role in shaping social norms, maintaining harmony, and strengthening community cohesion. Compliance with customary law is moral and social in nature, driven by collective awareness and cultural legitimacy rather than formal sanctions. Furthermore, customary law embodies social values such as mutual cooperation, deliberation, and communal justice, serving as the moral foundation of society. However, its existence faces challenges from the dominance of positive law and modernization; thus, a legal pluralism approach is needed to acknowledge normative diversity and integrate customary law into the national legal system. This study emphasizes the importance of recognizing customary law within national legal policy to build an inclusive, contextual, and socially just legal system.
