Abstract

Gunadarma University operates multiple campuses, each equipped with its own library. To ensure equitable access to newly acquired titles, it is imperative that these materials are disseminated across all campus libraries. So, when a new book title is added, this book must also be owned by the library at each campus location. In this research, book distribution routes with the shortest distance and time will be determined using the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) method with Excel Solver. Gunadarma University has a central library which is the starting point for distributing books to other campuses. The central university library serves as the distribution hub, from which books are dispatched to seven additional campus locations. Simulation results using Excel Solver showed that the shortest route for sending books to seven library locations on the Gunadarma University campus using one vehicle was a distance of 137.14 km in 3 hours 12 minutes. This optimized route yielded substantial cost savings, amounting to a 12.5% reduction compared to previous distribution practices.

Abstract

Masalah limbah plastik rumah tangga menjadi salah satu tantangan utama dalam pengelolaan lingkungan di tingkat komunitas. Pendampingan produksi eco paving block dari limbah plastik rumah tangga di lingkungan RT 003 RW 010 Puri Bukit Depok Sasak Panjang, Tajurhalang, Kabupaten Bogor bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi kreatif terhadap permasalahan ini sekaligus memberdayakan masyarakat. Program ini meliputi edukasi tentang pentingnya daur ulang, pelatihan teknis produksi eco paving block, serta pendampingan pemasaran produk. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan masyarakat dalam mengelola limbah plastik dan menghasilkan produk berkualitas tinggi yang ramah lingkungan. Eco paving block yang dihasilkan memiliki keunggulan dalam hal daya tahan, biaya produksi yang lebih ekonomis, dan dampak lingkungan yang lebih rendah dibandingkan paving block konvensional. Selain itu, program ini juga menciptakan peluang usaha baru di tingkat komunitas, yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat dan pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Usaha mikro seperti Ayam Bakar Solo yang beroperasi di ruang terbuka sering menghadapi tantangan dalam penataan area produksi yang efisien, aman, dan nyaman. Kondisi layout yang tidak tertata dengan baik dapat menghambat produktivitas, meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan kerja, serta menurunkan kualitas pelayanan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk membantu mitra usaha dalam merancang tata letak area produksi menggunakan pendekatan Systematic Layout Planning (SLP). Metode pelaksanaan meliputi observasi lapangan, analisis aktivitas kerja, perancangan layout fungsional, pelatihan prinsip 5R dan keselamatan kerja, serta implementasi desain yang telah disepakati. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi alur kerja sebesar ±20%, peningkatan kenyamanan kerja, serta meningkatnya pemahaman mitra terhadap pentingnya penataan area kerja yang ergonomis dan aman. Kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi pada pencapaian SDGs (Tujuan 8, 9, dan 11) serta mendukung Asta Cita dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan daya saing pelaku usaha mikro. Pendekatan SLP terbukti relevan untuk diterapkan secara luas dalam pemberdayaan UMKM, khususnya dalam pengelolaan ruang produksi terbuka yang sering kali belum tertata secara sistematis.

Abstract

This article investigated the passenger demand forecasting for the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Rail Link, utilizing linear regression and exponential smoothing techniques. Given the in-creased significance of accurate demand forecasts in urban transportation systems, this research aims to enhance operational efficiency and service quality. Historical passenger data was analyzed from January 2024 to April 2025, revealing an upward trend in rid-ership. Three forecasting methods—linear regression, single exponential smoothing, and double exponential smoothing—were employed and compared using key accuracy metrics such as Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The results indicate that linear regression yields the lowest error rates, making it the most effective method for forecasting future passenger numbers. En-hanced forecasting models, as proposed in this study, can significantly contribute to urban transportation planning and service optimization. From the research, indicate that the line-ar regression method is better in terms of forecasting accuracy, making it the preferred choice for predicting passenger demand for the airport rail service. The forecasts indicate a consistent and gradual increase in passenger numbers, starting from 770,025 in period 17 and reaching 840,457 by period 24. This steady growth pattern aligns with the upward trend observed in previous historical data, suggesting that increasing access to and aware-ness of the airport rail service will continue to drive ridership. The forecasts assist in opera-tional decision-making, allowing for adequate planning of resources, scheduling adjust-ments, and infrastructure needs to accommodate the projected growth in demand.
