Abstract

Abstract

This research develops Canva website-based physics learning media for Elasticity and Hooke's Law. The research focuses on introducing and utilizing the free version of the Canva website as an interactive learning media for teachers in the classroom. The practicality of this site makes it easily accessible to everyone and has a fairly wide reach. Using the Research and Development (R&D) research method, researchers used the 4-D research model, which consists of defining, designing, developing, and distributing products to prospective physics teachers to assess their feasibility. The feasibility results obtained showed about 78.94% (feasible) for the aspect of manipulating software, 80.58% (feasible) for the aspect of learning design, and 78.17% (feasible) for the aspect of visual communication. In addition, this website is feasible to use according to prospective physics teachers, and an average percentage of feasibility characterizes it at 82.23% (very feasible). It is hoped that the Canva website innovation on Elastasis and Hooke's Law material can help teachers integrate technology in education.

Abstract

Piezoelectric constituents consist of PbZrTiO3 or PZT which contains lead (Pb) hich is industrial waste which is hazardous if it enters the human body. Based on this, the researchers used environmentally friendly kitchen materials in the form of Potassium Bitartrate and Sodium Bicarbonate as a substitute for the original piezoelectric material. Through the experimental method of mixing the two materials, the evaporation and refrigeration methods, amorphous solid forms were obtained. The solid is then coated with aluminum and tested for suitability by measuring the stress of the material before and after being vibrated. The voltage obtained after being vibrated formed an exponential graph with the highest voltage of 0.28 V. Then, the material was tested again for its feasibility in charging the capacitor and the voltage generated by the capacitor was obtained at. 0.0221V. Basic knowledge related to cross-curricular and subject-specific sustainability.

Abstract

Many countries are revitalizing science subjects by strengthening the integration of science content with engineering, technology, and mathematics content and skills, creating STEM learning. However, the availability of textbooks capable of facilitating this integration remains limited. This study aims to analyze the Science and Engineering Practice content in high school physics textbooks used by Indonesian and Malaysian schools. This study is qualitative descriptive research with content analysis. The analysis was conducted on two samples of Indonesian and Malaysian books each. Content analysis is based on the SEPAR (Science and Engineering Practice Assessment Rubric) that divides Science and Engineering Practice into 8 elements. The analysis showed that Indonesian textbooks' Science and Engineering Practice content is still lacking compared to Malaysian books in all elements. The most common aspects found in Indonesian books are asking questions and defining problems. These results show that Malaysian high school physics textbooks represent many elements of Science and Engineering Practices, but there are still several elements that are not optimal. This research highlights the importance of improving the representation of  Science and Engineering Practice in Physics textbook.
