Abstract

This study aims to describe the social values contained in the novel Makhluk Bumi by Sayaka Murata. This study is expected to provide the following benefits. 1) provide readers with an understanding of literary works regarding the description of social values in the novel Makhluk Bumi by Sayaka Murata. 2) as a contribution of information for those conducting research on social values in the novel Makhluk Bumi by Sayaka Murata. 3) add to literary studies by applying the theory of the sociological approach to literature in the novel. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. This type of research is a type of literature. The source of this research is the text of the novel Makhluk Bumi by Sayaka Murata with a total of 264 pages, published by Gramedia Pustaka Utama in Jakarta in 2025. Data collection was carried out using reading techniques and note-taking techniques. In this study will be analyzed using a sociology of literature approach. This novel contains social values with the title of the novel Makhluk Bumi by Sayaka Murata, namely: 1) The value of harmony, 2) the value of caring, 3) the value of politeness, and 4) helping each other.

Abstract

The study's objective was to describe the ability of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Lasalepa to write short story review texts. This study employed a quantitative descriptive approach. The participants in this study were all 106 eighth-grade students from four classes at SMP Negeri 1 Lasalepa. To choose the sample that will be used in this study, we used the stratified proportional random sampling method, which involves taking samples from each subpopulation that are proportional to the total number of people in that subpopulation. random. resulting in a sample size of 53 individuals for this study. The type of instrument used in this study was a test with questions about the structure and language rules of short story review texts to find out how well students could write them. A written test is the method used for data collection. In the description, the percentage technique was used, and the data analysis method was quantitatively descriptive. Out of 53 respondents, 42 (79.24%) fell into the category of being able to write short story review texts, while 11 (20.76%) fell into the category of not being able to write short story review texts in a traditional manner. The writing of short story review texts for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Lasalepa falls into the incapacitated category because (79.24 percent) it did not meet the standard classical completeness requirement of 85%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kabawo dalam menulis teks prosedur; (2) mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis teks prosedur dari segi isi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kabawo; 3) mendeskripsikan aspek struktur penulisan teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kabawo; 4) berbicara tentang kemampuan menulis teks prosedur siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kabawo tentang kaidah menulis; 5) mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis teks prosedur tentang aspek ciri kebahasaan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kabawo. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang menggunakan bilangan untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kabawo dalam menulis teks prosedur. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kabawo tahun ajaran 2022/23. Ada 43 siswa di masing-masing dua kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kabawo sebagai sampel. Tes tertulis digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitian. Informasi pemeriksaan diselidiki dengan jelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Kabawo mampu memilih kata dengan persentase kemampuan 34,88 persen, melengkapi struktur dengan persentase kemampuan 9,30 persen, kaidah penulisan kata dengan persentase kemampuan 32,56 persen, penggunaan kalimat dengan persentase kemampuan 32,56 persen, dan penggunaan tanda baca dengan persentase 23,26%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the ability to write pantun of class VII students of SMP Negeri 5 Kendari. This study is classified as a field research. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study were all class VII students of SMP Negeri 5 Kendari totaling 442 people. The number of samples in this study was 168 people. The data collection technique used in this study was a pantun writing test given to students. Based on the results of thestudy and data analysis carried out, data from 168 students of class VII of SMP Negeri 5 Kendari who were respondents, as many as 138 (82.14%) were categorized as capable of writing pantun and 30 students (17.85%) were categorized as not yet capable of writing pantun. Classically, the ability to write pantun of class VII students of SMP Negeri 5 Kendari is categorized as not yet capable because the percentage of student ability only reaches 82.14%, still below the classical completeness standard of 85%. The ability to write pantun covering the theme aspect is 79.16%, structure 89.28%, rhyme 73.21%, rhyme and content of pantun 81.54%, and message and mandate 69.64%. Of the 5 aspects assessed, only 1aspect is categorized as classically capable, namely the structure aspect.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the plot structure in the novel "Lelaki yang Membunuh Kenangan" by Faisal Tehrani. The problem in this research is how is the plot structure in the novel "Lelaki yang Membunuh Kenangan" by Faisal Tehrani? This research aims to describe the plot structure contained in the novel "Lelaki yang Membunuh Kenangan" by Faisal Tehrani. The data in this research is written data containing the plot structure in the novel "Lelaki yang Membunuh Kenangan" by Faisal Tehrani. The data source in this research is the novel "Lelaki yang Membunuh Kenangan" by Faisal Tehrani, published by Bentang Publisher (PT Bentang Pustaka) in 2019 with a thickness of 277 pages. The data collection techniques used in this research are reading techniques and note-taking techniques. Data analysis in this research uses an objective approach. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses the stages of data identification and data analysis. Based on the research conducted, the plot structure was found. Based on the data analysis, the following conclusions can be drawn. First, the situation stage. Second, the stage where the conflict arises for the characters. Third, the stage where the conflict escalates. Fourth, the climax occurs when the conflict reaches its optimal point. Fifth, the final resolution (ending) of all conflicts presented.
