Abstract

UMKM SAFIA merupakan salah satu UMKM di Kabupaten Jember yang memproduksi kacang telur. Dengan lima orang karyawan, kapasitas produksi hampir mencapai 20 kg setiap kali produksi. Namun, UMKM ini menghadapi keterbatasan dalam pemasaran produk, yang saat ini masih dilakukan secara door to door dan menitipkan produk di beberapa toko maupun mitra di Kabupaten Jember. Mitra berharap dapat memperluas jaringan pemasaran dan meningkatkan promosi untuk meningkatkan omset penjualan. Permasalahan ini diharapkan dapat teratasi dengan memberikan solusi berupa pelatihan digital marketing melalui Instagram dan peningkatan promosi untuk memperluas jaringan pemasaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan yaitu: survei, perumusan masalah, diskusi, penyusunan materi pelatihan, serta penyuluhan dan pelatihan digital marketing. Hasil dari kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan wawasan dan memperluas jaringan pemasaran UMKM SAFIA. Pemasaran yang awalnya terbatas pada konsumen di sekitar wilayah produksi dan pembelian langsung dari produsen, dapat berkembang menjadi lebih luas melalui promosi dan penjualan di media sosial. Selain itu, transaksi penjualan menjadi lebih mudah dan konsumen dapat mengetahui produk baru serta kegiatan yang diikuti UMKM SAFIA.

Abstract

Inovasi pemanfaatan limbah cerutu sebagai produk sampingan oleh CV. Dwipa Nusantara bertujuan meningkatkan daya saing industri hasil tembakau di Jember. Program ini melibatkan berbagai metode, seperti pelatihan, studi kasus, riset dan pengembangan, serta pendampingan teknis. Hasilnya, limbah tembakau diolah menjadi produk bernilai tambah seperti rokok sigaret kretek tangan (SKT). Implementasi inovasi ini menciptakan peluang kerja baru, memberdayakan masyarakat lokal, dan mendukung ekonomi sirkular. Metode monitoring dan evaluasi diterapkan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan inovasi ini, dengan fokus pada peningkatan produktivitas dan efisiensi. Dampak program ini terlihat pada peningkatan keterampilan masyarakat, diversifikasi produk, dan pengurangan limbah lingkungan. Dengan pendekatan ini, CV. Dwipa Nusantara diharapkan mampu menjadi pionir dalam industri tembakau yang lebih modern dan berkelanjutan, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap ekonomi daerah Jember.

Abstract

This research develops a sustainable supply chain system model for the cigar waste agroindustry at CV Dwipa Nusantara Tobacco, Jember, using the Interpretative Structural Modelling (ISM) approach. Cigar waste, previously considered valueless, is processed into diversified products that have the potential to enhance the company's economic value. The designed model aims to address inefficiencies in the supply chain that prevent optimal utilization of waste. ISM identifies key elements in the supply chain, such as raw material supply, labor, and processing technology. The study analyzes the export supply chain of cigar waste at CV Dwipa Nusantara Tobacco Jember. Three main elements are identified: needs, barriers, and institutions, each with interrelated sub-elements. Using the Reachability Matrix (RM), relationships among sub-elements are examined using transitivity rules. The results reveal sub-elements that act as key drivers, particularly in raw material availability, production technology, and export regulations. These findings are expected to enhance supply chain efficiency and improve product competitiveness in international markets.

Abstract

Suci Village, located in Panti District, Jember Regency, is one of the villages that manages a Waste Bank Unit (BSU). The village has the Larahan Makmur Waste Bank, which was established in January 2018. The establishment of BSU Larahan Makmur was partly driven by the fact that Suci Village is situated on the slopes of Mount Argopuro and is prone to natural disasters, particularly flooding. The main issue in waste management at BSU Larahan Makmur is that its activities are still focused on the management and utilization of inorganic waste, while household organic waste has not yet been utilized. Currently, a large portion of household organic waste in Suci Village is still disposed of into rivers The objectives of this community service activity are to improve the knowledge, skills, and participation of partners in utilizing household organic waste into compost. The activity was carried out through extension methods, which included: providing education on the utilization of household organic waste for compost production using the takakura method, drum composter technology, and ecoenzyme making; and practice and mentoring in compost production from household organic waste using the takakura method and drum composter technology, as well as ecoenzyme making together with the partners The results of this community service activity include: improved knowledge and skills of the partners in utilizing household organic waste for compost and ecoenzym; increased utilization of organic waste for compost production by the partners; and the handover of composter (3 units) and takakura baskets (8 baskets) to the partners.
