Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of goal orientation and social support towards academic help-seeking in high school students with kurikulum merdeka. The hypothesis of this study is the role of goal orientation and social support on academic help-seeking in high school students. Participants totaled 150 high school students in Indonesia. The sampling technique used was purposive. This study used three scales as measuring instruments, namely the goal orientation scale, social support scale, and academic help-seeking scale. Data analysis in this study was conducted using simple regression analysis techniques. The results showed a significant role between goal orientation and social support variables on academic help-seeking variables with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). The coefficient of determination (R Square) of the three variables is 0.817 which is included in the moderate category. This research can be a basis for educating students that asking for help is normal and beneficial for learning progress by proactively looking for supportive peers or teachers to discuss and help each other in learning.

Abstract

Proses penyusunan skripsi merupakan fase krusial dalam pendidikan tinggi yang sering menimbulkan tekanan akademik pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh keterhubungan sosial dan ketakutan akan kegagalan terhadap perilaku mencari bantuan akademik pada mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi. Perilaku mencari bantuan akademik didefinisikan sebagai perilaku proaktif untuk mencari dukungan atau bantuan dalam menyelesaikan tugas akademik. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Responden penelitian melibatkan 200 mahasiswa tingkat akhir yang sedang menjalani proses penyusunan skripsi. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan data nilai R Square 0,294 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan keterhubungan sosial dan ketakutan akan kegagalan memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku mencari bantuan akademik. Implikasi penelitian menunjukan pentingnya mahasiswa dengan tingkat ketakutan akan kegagalan yang tinggi untuk dapat menggunakan rasa takut sebagai pendorong untuk lebih aktif mencari bantuan akademik. Institusi Pendidikan dan Pembimbing akademik perlu menyediakan ruang komunikasi bagi mahasiswa untuk berbagi pengalaman dan saling memberikan dukungan, baik secara formal melalui konseling akademik, maupun secara informal melalui sesi berbagi pengalaman, pelatihan dan mentoring.

Abstract

Keterlambatan kelulusan pada mahasiswa saat ini menjadi salah satu masalah yang dihadapi oleh perguruan tinggi di Indonesia. Terdapat berbagai macam faktor yang dapat menyebabkan mahasiswa terlambat lulus dari perguruan tinggi, salah satunya adalah rendahnya resiliensi akademik, yaitu kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menghadapi tantangan akademik dan mengelola stres secara adaptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan memberikan gambaran tentang dukungan sosial dan resiliensi akademik pada mahasiswa yang mengalami keterlambatan kelulusan dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review. Artikel yang dikaji adalah publikasi penelitian yang terakreditasi sinta dan jurnal internasional dengan rentang waktu 5 tahun terakhir, yaitu tahun 2018 sampai 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial memiliki peran signifikan dalam meningkatkan resiliensi akademik mahasiswa, terutama bagi mereka yang mengalami keterlambatan kelulusan. Mahasiswa dengan tingkat resiliensi akademik yang tinggi lebih mampu menghadapi tantangan akademik, mengelola stres, serta tetap termotivasi untuk menyelesaikan studi mereka. Sebaliknya, mahasiswa dengan resiliensi akademik rendah lebih rentan mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun skripsi, yang menjadi faktor utama keterlambatan kelulusan. Dengan adanya dukungan sosial yang didapatkan oleh mahasiswa menjadi sumber motivasi dan kekuatan untuk bangkit menghadapi tantangan serta mencapai tujuannya dalam perkuliahan.

Abstract

Inclusive education in early childhood settings has become a global priority, yet its implementation remains challenging due to teachers’ varying perceptions of children with special needs. This study examines the perceptions of early childhood teachers and evaluates the barriers and opportunities influencing inclusive practices. A systematic literature review of eight peer-reviewed articles was conducted, and data were synthesized through thematic analysis to identify recurring patterns across the studies. Findings indicate that educators typically express positive attitudes toward inclusion; however, lack of professional training, limited resources, and insufficient institutional support often hinder effective practice. The study concludes that strengthening teacher competence, fostering collaboration with families and specialists, and ensuring systemic support are crucial for sustainable inclusive education.

Abstract

Child aggression has become an increasing problem in recent years. Children who exhibit aggressive behavior tend to have difficulty controlling their emotions, get angry quickly and are often involved in conflicts with peers and family members. If not adequately addressed, this aggressiveness can negatively impact a child's social, emotional, and academic development, potentially leading to more severe behaviors later in life. One proven effective way to reduce aggressiveness in children is through play therapy. In this therapy, children can process emotions that are difficult to understand or express verbally, including anger and frustration, which often trigger aggressiveness. The study aims to see play therapy's effectiveness in reducing children's aggressiveness. The method used in this study is meta-analysis, in which researchers reviewed 14 selected journals based on predetermined characteristics. The analysis results show that play therapy has a significant effect size and effectively reduces aggressiveness in children. Further studies could explore the long-term impact of play therapy on children's aggressiveness across different age groups and cultural backgrounds, as well as its effectiveness when combined with other therapeutic interventions.
