Abstract

Tawuran merupakan salah satu fenomena yang banyak terjadi di kalangan remaja. Menurut Gunarsa (2004) karakteristik masa remaja adalah keadaan emosi yang labil, membentuk kegiatan secara berkelompok dan keinginan untuk menjelajahi lingkungan Pada masa remaja ini, remaja seolah lepas dari peran orangtua dan lebih mandiri dalam melakukan keputusan sendiri. Orangtua sebagai bagian dalam kehidupan remaja memiliki peranan tertentu, salah satunya diwujudkan dalam bentuk pola asuh. Baumrind (1991) mengembangkan empat tipe pola asuh yang menggambarkan bagaimana orangtua dapat mengkombinasikan pengasuhan anak dan batas aturan dalam keluarga yaitu: authoritarian, authoritative, neglectful, dan indulgent. Setiap pola asuh dapat menghasilkan karakteristik yang berbeda-beda pada masing-masing anak (Sari, 2007). Penerapan pola asuh yang tepat, tidak akan membawa perkembangan yang buruk bagi anak. Perilaku tawuran merupakan suatu perilaku yang menyimpang dan cenderung dilakukan secara berkelompok. Karena dilakukan secara berkelompok, maka perilaku ini dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pada remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kualitas hidup ditinjau dari pola asuh orangtua pada siswa pelaku tawuran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 309 subyek penelitian yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan kualitas hidup ditinjau dari pola asuh ayah maupun ibu pada siswa pelaku tawuran, dengan nilai p<0,05 dimana p value sebesar 0,000. Kata Kunci: tawuran, pola asuh, kualitas hidup

Abstract

Adolescence is a period where their seems to be separated from the role of  their parents and more independent in making their own decisions. But this time, the family plays a role in the behavior of adolescents in the decision making process, one of which is related to education in the selection of majors degree in university  that will determine the future of their children. This research aims to determine the role of family support  In adolescent  for career decision making in major degree a in university. Causal comparative study was used and a sample 301 college student in grade one was selected through nonprobability sampling.  This research was used two research tolls such as the role family was used Family Asessment Device (FAD) and decision making was used Career Decision-Making Profile. The result in this research found that score of the role of family based on mean hipotetic is lower than mean empiric. It means that, the role of family low category. In this research also showed the result  used simple regression ,  F value 0.790 and p value 0.099 > 0.05. it means there is no significant the role of family support in adolescent for decision making in major degree in university.

Abstract

Background: Nutrition status among girls is becoming a severe concern for preventing undernutrition in their future pregnancy. Since they experience many physical changes during adolescence, some girls will feel dissatisfied with their own body. This feeling may lead to negative body image, which is a long time will impact health status. The research aimed to facilitate psychoeducation and analyze the improvements towards the senior high school girls’ perception of body image in Palembang.Method: A quasi-experimental study design was employed in the research with a non-equivalent control group. Participants were selected using purposive sampling, divided into intervention (n=18) and control (n=19) groups. All steps of the research were carried out online because of pandemic COVID-19. The questionnaire was given via Google form, while the three psychoeducation sessions were given through Zoom Meetings. Data were analyzed using Paired T-test (intervention) and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test (control).Results: Most of the participants are 16 years old (40%), first-grade students (46%), and go to public school (67%). The mean score of both groups is decreased, which indicate their perception of body image is changed positively. However, there was no significant mean difference of the perception before and after treatment, either intervention (p-value 0.632) or control group (p-value 0.494). By the psychoeducation session, some participants already tried to share their feelings and problems related to their bodies, mostly originating from negative opinions given by peers. Girls should be motivated to love themselves through psychoeducation sessions with longer duration or more frequency to generate a positive body image.

Abstract

Seks pranikah pada remaja merupakan suatu fenomena yang semakin marak terjadi. Keluarga khususnya orangtua ikut berperan dalam upaya mencegah hubungan seksual pranikah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran fungsi keluarga dalam upaya mencegah perilaku Seks Pranikah Remaja di Kota Palembang. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kausal kompartif. Subyek yang digunakan adalah siswa/siswi dari SMA dan SMK swasta X yang ada di kota Palembang. Jumlah subyek yang digunakan adalah 144 orang, subyek dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Pada penelitian ini, alat ukur yang digunakan ada dua yaitu fungsi keluarga dan perilaku seksual. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti melakukan uji regresi dengan menggunakan simple regression  dan menunjukkan nilai F hitung sebesar 0,001 dengan nilai p sebesar 0,971 > 0,05, artinya tidak terdapat peranan fungsi keluarga terhadap perilaku seksual pranikah remaja. Dengan demikian dapat sarankan agar diteliti lebih lanjut mengenai faktor lain yang berperan terhadap perilaku seksual yang dilakukan oleh remaja.

Abstract

Every child is basically creative, what differentiate one child to another is the degree and form of creativity that the child shows (Mulyadi, S in Budi, 2007). Therefore stimuli from the environment are necessary, so that creative thinking ability stored in each child can appear (Munandar, 1999). Nowadays, many scales of gifted children's traits have been developed that make it easier for teachers to track the capabilities of highly skilled children. What measurements will be used in tracking gifted children depend on what abilities or traits are deemed important that are owned by gifted children (Renzulli in Munandar, 1999). Based on Guilford's theory, Torrance then developed a test to measure creativity called TTCT (Torrance Test Creative Thinking). This test measures 4 aspects: (1) Fluency; (2) Elaboration; (3) Originality and; (4) Abstractness of Title. Each one of all the four aspects of Torrance Test of Creativity Thinking has its own norm. As a researcher, I want to develop the norms based on the characteristics of subjects residing in Indonesia. The subjects were children aged 7 to 12 who were in elementary school. The sample used in this study amounted to 201. Based on the results of data analysis, this study resulted norms of Fluency; Elaboration; Originality and; Abstractness of Title. In addition, criterion validity (predictive validity) test has also been done and scores obtained from Torrance Test Creative Thinking-Figural (TTCT-F) can predict a person's future creativity based on age.Keywords: creativity, norms, Torrance test of creativity thinking

Abstract

Creativity is very important in all fields, Architecture is one of them because architecture is the art and technique of designing the enclosure of space for human use. The architect must be creative and capable of thinking, feeling and convey spatial ideas. Therefore more important to measure their ability on creativity for applicant’s architecture student when the process entrance examinations. The purpose of research is to develop an instrument to measure the creativity architecture students. In this research, the researcher was using quantitative method. A total of participants 275 . Percentile rank norm was utilized to determine creativity architecture students. In this research were measure content validity, construct validity and internal consistency reliability. To measure content validity, researcher was given the instrument to five panel of expert. Internal consistency reliability was 0.8. The research results in the form of instruments to measure creativity architecture students. The results are then used as a means of used to selecting students applying for the architecture study program.Keywords : architecture, creativity

Abstract

Assertiveness manifests itself as spontaneous behaviour with a freely expressestheir feelings, aspirations, thoughts and express of speech. This study aims to findout the description of the students assertive behavior. The population in this studywere all students first grade at University X in Palembang, with samples of 67students which is male was 10 students (14.9%) and female 57 students (85.1%). Inthis research used purposive sampling techniques and the methods for collectingdata in this study used questionnaire. The instrument was constructed by Sutantri(2014) used Theory Alberty and Emmons. The format items using likert scale withscore 1 disagree strongly; 2 disagree; 3 agree and 4 agree strongly. Reliabilitycalculation used internal consistency, Alpha Cronbach With α 0.797. Thetechniques for analyzing the data were percentage descriptive analysis andIndependent Sample t test. The result of the analysis shows that mean empiric was2,97 and mean hipotetic was 2.50 (2.97>2.50). The result of the data shows that 63(94%) students of high level category assertive behavior and 4 students (6%) of lowlevel category assertive behavior. It means that the assertive behavior of studentsin first grade at university X of high level category. In this research also assessedthe difference between assertive behavior and gender used Mann Whitney U test.The result shows that Mean Rank 66.30 (Male) and 62.17 (Female) with p valueswas 0.726 > 0.05. It means that there is no difference between assertive behaviorand gender.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan status identitas diri remaja ditinjau dari pola asuh. Subyek yang digunakan adalah remaja yang kuliah di Universitas X di Jakarta dipilih dengan menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif komparatif dengan melakukan uji perbedaan. Alat ukur yang digunakan ada dua yaitu pola asuh dan Identitas diri. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian reliabilitas dan validitas maka diperoleh nilai  Alpha Cronbach pada pola asuh ayah dimensi acceptance sebesar 0.940  dan pola asuh Ibu sebesar 0.930 dan dimensi demandingness pada pola asuh ayah sebesar 0.825 dan pola asuh ibu sebesar 0.874. Sedangkan pada status identitas identity diffusion sebesar 0.567; identity foreclosure sebesar 0.652; identity moratorium sebesar 0.309 dan identity achievement sebesar 0.674. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji perbedaan Kruskal Wallis dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan status identity diffusion, identity moratorium, identity achievement, namun terdapat perbedaan status identity foreclosure  ditinjau pola asuh Ayah. Pada pola asuh ibu, ditemukan tidak terdapat perbedaan pada identity diffusion dan identity achievement  namun terdapat perbedaan status identity foreclosure dan identity moratorium. Adapun rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah orangtua perlu mendampingi anak dalam tahap perkembangannya sehingga anak dapat menentukan status identitasnya.__________________________________________________________The aim of this research to determine differences  self identity with parenting style. Subject in this research used adolescences in University X Jakarta using purposive sampling. The study was a quantitative research with design was comparative study. The instrument used was a questionnaire such as Parenting style and Self Identity. The reliability and validity  test used Alpha Cronbach  and the values was 0.940  for acceptance of father’s  parenting style  and 0.930  of mother’s parenting style. Otherwhile, 0.825 for demandingness of father’s parenting style and 0.874 of mother’s parenting style. The validity dan reliability of self identity statuse was 0.567 for identity diffusion; identity foreclosure was 0.652; identity moratorium was 0.309 and identity achievement was 0.674. The analysis data used Kruskal Wallis and the result found that there is no difference between self identity in adolescent dimension  identity diffusion, moratorium and  identity achievement but  there is difference between self identity foreclosure  with the father’s parenting style. Otherwhile, there is no difference between identity diffusion and identity achievement  but there is difference between identity foreclosure and identity moratorium of mother’s parenting style. Recommend of this research to the parents can be monitor the development their children to found their identity statuse.

Abstract

Mahasiswa identik dengan seseorang yang berada pada jenjang pendidikan tinggi dimana biasanya memiliki beban tugas yang lebih besar daripada ketika menjadi seorang siswa. Apalagi jika mahasiswa sudah berada pada semester akhir. Beban dan tanggung jawab mereka akan lebih berat lagi karena ada tugas untuk menyelesaikan skripsi sebagai persyaratan untuk mendapatkan gelar sarjana. Hal ini bisa menyebabkan mahasiswa mengalami stress. Mahasiswa yang mampu bertahan tentunya mempunyai sikap dalam menghadapi stress atau kecemasan yang mereka hadapi. Pada kondisi tertentu stressor akan menjadi lebih menyulitkan sehingga mahasiswa akan merasa usaha yang dilakukan tidak berhasil. Karena kesulitan inilah, diperlukan  teknik untuk mengelola stres yang disebut stress management. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh stress management terhadap resiliensi mahasiswa semester akhir di Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan penelitian kuantitatif asosiatif kausal. Pada pengujian regresi diperoleh nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Artinya hipotesis penelitian diterima dimana terdapat pengaruh stress management terhadap resiliensi mahasiswa semester akhir di Palembang.______________________________________________________________ College students have a large task and responsibilty, one of which is completing a final task. This task can cause students to experience stress. Under certain conditions the stressor will become more difficult and a technique is needed to manage stress called stress management. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of management on the resilience of final semester college students in Palembang. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a significant effect of stress management on resilience. This study uses a causal associative quantitative research design method with simple random sampling technique and the number of samples is 190 subjects. Instruments of this research were stress management scale and the Connor Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC 25) with 25 items. The results of the regression test obtained a significance value (p) of 0.000 <0.05. This means that the research hypothesis is accepted where there is an influence of stress management on the resilience of final semester students in Palembang. This study has limitations due to the implementation of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) in Palembang. So that data collection is carried out on student representatives from several campuses only. The researcher recommends that in future research, the sampling technique uses cluster sampling technique with a larger sample size so that it can represent all students in Palembang.
