Abstract

This research was carried out on the basis of describing promotion analysis in the development strategy of a sustainable tofu trading business in Simangambat village, Siabu sub-district, Mandailing Natal district by taking a case study in Simangambat village, Siabu sub-district, Mandailing Natal regency, which is one of the villages whose community has a tofu trading business, namely Sustainable tofu. This research was conducted from October 2023- July 2024. This research method uses a qualitative approach where this research describes, explains and interprets objects according to what they are. Data validation was carried out by gathering information from several informants who were directly related to the Tofu Trading Business. Apart from that, the researcher also carried out direct observations at the research location to verify the data whether the data obtained from the informants was in line with reality data or not. As a result of this research, the author concludes that the promotion analysis in the development strategy for the sustainable tofu trading business in Simangambat village still cannot be said to be optimal. This can be seen from the marketing system of tofu factories which has not kept up with the times and is still developing a system through a system of entrusting it to stalls. So sustainable tofu businesses must develop systems such as using social media for marketing so that the business they manage can develop further and can also compete with other tofu businesses.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction at Suru-Suru All Delivery Panyabungan, Mandailing Natal Regency. The type of research is quantitative research. Data collection techniques are by observation and distributing questionnaires. This research involved a sample of 86 respondents using the Slovin formula. All tests were carried out using the SPSS version 25 program. The results of this research were that service quality had a partial effect on customer satisfaction at Suru-Suru All Delivery Panyabungan, Mandailing Natal Regency. The partial test value (t) on the service quality variable (X) was 3.769 with a value ttable is 1.663. So the tcount value is greater than ttable (3.768 > 1.663), then the service quality variable (X) has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction (Y). This shows that the first hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This means that "the service quality variable has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction" which has also been proven successfully by this research with an R Square value obtained of 0.145 multiplied by 100% to 14.5%. while 85.5% is explained by other variables. Apart from that, the service quality variable has a low relationship with customer satisfaction at Suru-Suru All Delivery, Panyabungan District, Mandailing Natal Regency, amounting to 0.380.

Abstract

This study examines the business communication strategy used by Warkop Royal and the inhibiting factors of Warkop Royal's business communication strategy. To obtain the results of this study, a qualitative descriptive research method was used, then direct interviews were conducted with various sources needed in this study. The results of this study indicate that the communication strategy used by Warkop Royal is to greet consumers with polite language, promote by word of mouth, strategic location, collaboration with local businesses, and maintain the quality of food and beverages. The inhibiting factors of Warkop Royal's business communication strategy are not yet optimal in using social media, lack of training for employees, cultural and language barriers, economic conditions, and tight competition. While the SWOT theory used by Warkop Royal is that they always greet consumers with polite language, Strategy (SO) Using formal but relaxed language. Strategy (WO) Carrying out a more inclusive and adaptive approach. Strategy (ST) Providing polite and friendly language. Strategy (WT) Developing a business approach based on a deep understanding of the local market. When associated with the AIDDA Theory, Warkop Royal's business communication strategy is very promising.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of promotions on the income of clothing businesses in Pasar Baru Panyabungan, Mandailing Natal Regency, North Sumatra. Data collection was carried out through a survey of 56 respondents consisting of market traders, where 35.71% of the respondents were men and 64.29% were women. The majority of respondents were aged between 26-40 years (35.71) and had a high school education or equivalent (62.50%). The results of simple linear regression analysis show that promotion has a significant influence on income, with a regression coefficient of 0.484. This means that every one unit increase in the promotion variable has the potential to increase revenue by 0.484 units. The regression model obtained is Y= 82.586 + 0.484 The validity test shows that all statement items are valid with a calculated r value greater than r table (0.2221), while the reliability test with Cronbach alpha shows a value of 0.685 for promotion and 0.839 for income, which means the instrument used is reliable. In addition, the classical assumption test ensures that the data is normally distributed and there is no heteroscedasticity. The research also identifies challenges such as intense competition and environmental issues in the market. These findings emphasize the importance of effective promotional strategies, supported by government policies that encourage sustainable economic growth in traditional markets.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether leadership style can influence the progress and decline of employee performance at the Sirime Rice Refinery Business, Pidoli Lombang Village, Panyabungan District, Mandailing Natal Regency. The number of samples used was 30 respondents. The sampling technique in this research uses the Saturated Sampling technique, where all members of the population are used as samples. The data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires and documentation. The analysis method for this research uses validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, heteroscedasticity tests, simple linear regression tests, partial tests and coefficient of determination tests. All of these tests were carried out using the SPSS version 25 program. Leadership style has a positive effect on employee performance at the Sirime Rice Refinery Business. Pidoli Lombang Village, Panyabungan District, Mandailing Natal Regency is indicated by a significant t value of 0.000 < 0.05, the R Square value is 0.817, which means that the independent variable or leadership style variable (X) is able to explain the dividend variable or employee performance variable (Y) of 81, 7% while the remaining 18.3% is influenced by other factors. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a calculated t value > t table (11,169 > 1.701) on employee performance at the Sirime rice factory, Pidoli Lembang village, Panyabungan sub-district, Mandailing Natal district.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of impulse buying on purchasing decisions of STAIN Mandailing Natal students. This research was carried out at STAIN Mandailing Natal, Sharia Business Management study program, Jl. Prof. Dr. Andi Hakim Nst STAIN Pidoli Lombang Complex, Panyabungan District, Mandailing Natal Regency. Online impulse buying will occur in consumers who have spontaneous buying behavior which results in low self-control when receiving stimulation from online shopping sites. With the influence of impulse buying, it is hoped that students will not exceed reasonable limits when making online purchases. The purpose of this research is to determine the partial influence of impulse buying on purchasing decisions. The type of research used in this thesis is quantitative descriptive. The sample in this study was 75 respondents. The data collection technique used was observation and questionnaires using Google Form. The analysis method for this research uses validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, heteroscedasticity tests, simple linear regression tests, partial tests and coefficient of determination tests. All of these tests were carried out using the SPSS version 25 program. Impulse Buying has a partial positive effect on the Purchasing Decisions of STAIN Mandailing Natal students as indicated by a significance value of t of 0.000 < 0.05, an R square value of 0.245, meaning that impulse buying is able to explain the dependent variable or purchasing decisions of 0.245 x 100% = 24.5% while 75 .5% is explained by other variables. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that impulse buying has a positive and significant influence on students' purchasing decisions with a calculated t value > t table (4.867 > 1.669).
