Abstract

This article discusses the importance of the regional approach in reducing development disparities across various regions. In the context of regional development in Banten Province, the development strategy focuses on spatial planning, infrastructure, settlements, and sustainable economic growth. Through a literature review, this article identifies regional development theories, the morphological profile of the Banten region, population density by regency/city, as well as regional development strategies in Banten. The discussion covers development theories, the general overview of the Banten region, population density, equitable distribution and regional development, as well as forms of regional development within the development strategy. The research method used in this article is a literature review, which involves the collection, analysis, and synthesis of information from various written sources relevant to the topic of regional development in Banten Province. Through the literature review, the authors examine and summarize the findings from previous research, books, scientific articles, and other academic sources related to regional development. The results of the literature review research method are a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the regional development of Banten Province in the context of development. From the analysis of various written sources, this article identifies the importance of the regional approach in reducing development disparities, as well as regional development strategies that focus on spatial planning, infrastructure, settlements, and sustainable economic growth in Banten.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of Instagram media in  learning the Arabic language, especially vocabulary, in the millennial generation.  The qualitative method uses a descriptive approach according to the issues at hand,  which is the effectiveness of Instagram in mastering Arabic vocabulary among  millennials. The results of this study indicate that Instagram is one of the social  media that supports learners (the millennial generation) to learn, understand and  memorise Arabic vocabulary without being restricted by time and place. Based on  the results of an online survey given to the students who received positive  responses, six agreed to use Instagram to learn Arabic vocabulary. Students  responded positively because it was flexible, interesting, timeless, and creative.  Negative response because it requires an internet connection, and learning cannot  be implemented directly. Through this research, it is hoped that millennials can use  Instagram media wisely, such as technology, to gain knowledge and expand their  horizons.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji dinamika penggunaan Bahasa Lampung dalam keluarga di Kota Bandar Lampung, khususnya dalam konteks pergeseran antar-generasi. Bahasa Lampung, sebagai simbol identitas budaya, menghadapi tantangan besar akibat dominasi Bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa asing yang dipicu oleh globalisasi, modernisasi, dan urbanisasi. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa generasi muda cenderung lebih akrab dengan Bahasa Indonesia, sedangkan penggunaan Bahasa Lampung terbatas pada konteks tertentu, seperti acara adat atau komunikasi dengan generasi tua. Faktor-faktor seperti perubahan persepsi terhadap Bahasa Lampung, kebijakan pendidikan, dan pengaruh teknologi serta media turut mempercepat pergeseran ini. Untuk melestarikan Bahasa Lampung, diperlukan sinergi antara keluarga, lembaga pendidikan, pemerintah, dan komunitas budaya melalui pendidikan formal, pelatihan guru, pemanfaatan teknologi digital, serta penguatan peran keluarga. Upaya ini bertujuan menjaga eksistensi Bahasa Lampung sebagai warisan budaya yang harus diteruskan kepada generasi mendatang. This research examines the dynamics of Lampung language use in families in Bandar Lampung City, especially in the context of intergenerational shifts. Lampung language, as a symbol of cultural identity, faces major challenges due to the dominance of Indonesian and foreign languages ​​triggered by globalization, modernization and urbanization. Using qualitative methods with literature study, this research found that the younger generation tends to be more familiar with Indonesian, while the use of Lampung is limited to certain contexts, such as traditional events or communication with the older generation. Factors such as changing perceptions of the Lampung language, less supportive education policies, and the influence of technology and media have also accelerated this shift. To preserve the Lampung language, synergy is needed between families, educational institutions, government and cultural communities through formal education, teacher training, use of digital technology and strengthening the role of the family. This effort aims to maintain the existence of the Lampung language as a cultural heritage that must be passed on to future generations.
