Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are the oldest Islamic educational institutions that are deeply rooted in the history of the Indonesian nation. Since the 15th century, Islamic boarding schools have existed as a manifestation of the synergistic encounter between universal Islamic teachings and local wisdom. Islamic boarding schools can survive across time and generations, because the Islamic boarding school education system prioritizes the formation of spirituality, morality, noble morals and manners. The current study attempts to recommend a priority strategic in adopting Internet of Things (IoT) to create innovative services in islamic boarding School. The processing technique used to determine the strategy is the fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). This research was conducted in Islamic Boarding School by Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with several experts. The expert is mayor of Depok, head of the Data and Information Center of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Director of Education Diniyah Islamic Boarding School, founder of Islamic boarding school Cendekia Amanah, Professor of Ushuluddin Faculty, IoT practitioner, alumni, and Islamic boarding school practitioner. The results show that the most dominant factor in improving services is human resources, and the actor is the islamic boarding management leader. The following finding is that the Increase organizational impact through service effectiveness and efficiency. The prior alternative strategy to recommend is by Building a technology culture among Islamic boarding school residents through Islamic boarding school values, habits and systems. The results of this study are presented and discussed, and the results of this study can be helpful for islamic boarding school in similar developing countries.

Abstract

A pitching deck is a strategic communication medium that plays a crucial role in delivering value propositions to prospective investors in a concise yet persuasive manner. The effectiveness of message delivery through a pitching deck is highly determined by the quality of the visual language and narrative employed. This study aims to analyze how visual elements such as color, typography, infographics, and iconography interact synergistically with the narrative structure to convey complex business values more intuitively and emotionally. The methodology used is a literature study with a thematic analysis approach of scientific sources published within the last five years. The findings indicate that consistent visual integration and structured narrative not only enhance audience understanding but also strengthen memory retention and emotional engagement with the presented business ideas. Specifically, this combined approach opens significant opportunities for the development of intelligent models capable of adaptively evaluating and recommending pitching deck designs with personalization. The implications of this study point to the need for communication decision support systems that focus not only on business content but also on how data driven technologies and algorithms can improve the quality of visual narrative elements as persuasive tools in the startup and investment world.

Abstract

The global transition to renewable energy aims to reduce environmental impacts and combat climate change, yet challenges arise due to the intermittent nature of renewable sources, complicating their integration into traditional power grids and requiring advanced management solutions. Smart grid technology presents promising capabilities to optimize renewable energy management, promoting both environmental sustainability and economic efficiency. This study evaluates the environmental and economic impacts of smart grid integration, fo- cusing on carbon emission reductions, enhanced energy efficiency, and cost savings for energy providers and consumers. Using Structural Equation Modeling via SmartPLS, data were collected and analyzed from various stakeholders engaged in renewable energy and smart grid applications, allowing a detailed assessment of the relationships between smart grid integration, environmental outcomes, and economic benefits. Results indicate that smart grid integration significantly reduces carbon emissions and improves energy efficiency by over 30% while economically, it yields substantial cost savings, cutting operational expenses by up to 25% over time. The SmartPLS analysis confirms a positive relationship between smart grid deployment and both environmental and economic outcomes, highlighting that smart grids not only support emission reductions but also deliver considerable financial benefits in renewable energy management. These findings offer important insights for policymakers and industry stakeholders, emphasizing the role of smart grids in advancing sustainable and economically viable global energy systems.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial culture, risk management, and organizational innovation on the performance of private tertiary institutions with organizational resilience as a mediating variable. The independent variables used are financial culture, risk management, and organizational innovation, while the dependent variable used is organizational performance, and the mediating variable used is organizational resilience. The method used in this study is a survey method, where data is obtained from the results of collection using a questionnaire. The population in this study were lecturers at private tertiary institutions in the LLDikti III area. The sampling technique was carried out using the proportionate stratified random sampling method. The sample in this study were 355 respondents. The analysis tool used is SmartPLS 3 with the path analysis method. The results of this study state that financial culture, risk management, and organizational innovation have a positive and significant effect on organizational resilience. Then financial culture, risk management, organizational innovation, and organizational resilience have a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. This research also shows that organizational resilience mediates the relationship between financial culture and organizational performance and also between organizational innovation and organizational performance. Meanwhile, organizational resilience failed to mediate the effect of risk management on organizational performance.
