Abstract

This study examines the effect of extracurricular activities on the formation of students' civic character using a quantitative approach and correlational research type. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of extracurricular activities on the formation of citizenship character of students of SMAN 7 Mataram. The data used in this study came from a questionnaire/questionnaire distributed to students of SMAN 7 Mataram, which met the standards set by the researcher. The population of SMAN 7 Mataram consisted of 185 students, with 37 students being the research sample. The results showed that extracurricular activities have a positive and significant effect on the formation of students' citizenship character at SMAN 7 Mataram, which means that the more students routinely carry out extracurricular activities, the more the formation of students' citizenship character will increase. The research results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination of this study are 34.4%, which means that the student character formation variable can be explained by the extracurricular activity variable by 34.4%, while the remaining 65.6% is explained by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Gold futures price forecasting plays an important role in investment decision-making and risk management, especially in the midst of volatile commodity market dynamics. This research aims to build an accurate gold futures price forecasting model by combining Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) and Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity (GARCH) models. The ARIMA model is used to capture linear patterns and historical trends in time series data, while the GARCH model is able to handle the high volatility characteristic of gold price movements, something that conventional forecasting models often fail to capture. The data used in this study is daily gold futures price data collected over the period January 3, 2023 to March 31, 2025, which covers both normal market conditions and periods of turmoil, making it relevant to describe the overall market dynamics. The forecasting results show that the ARIMA-GARCH model with components (3,1,3) (1,1) with a MAPE of 4.52% indicates a good level of accuracy in the context of forecasting gold futures prices that have high volatility. Thus, this model provides precise forecasting results with actual data so that it can be used by market participants and policy makers in managing risks and designing strategies.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa dampak besar dalam kehidupan anak-anak, terutama dalam penggunaan gadget untuk hiburan dan pembelajaran. Namun, penggunaan gadget yang tidak terkontrol dapat menyebabkan berbagai permasalahan, seperti kecanduan, gangguan sosial, dan penurunan prestasi akademik. Seminar interaktif tentang kesadaran digital ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman anak-anak, orang tua, dan pendidik mengenai dampak baik dan buruk penggunaan gadget serta memberikan strategi pengelolaan yang lebih bijak. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara offline dengan metode penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, dan simulasi kasus yang melibatkan 48 peserta dari berbagai latar belakang. Hasil seminar menunjukkan bahwa metode interaktif efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta mengenai pentingnya pengawasan dalam penggunaan gadget. Orang tua dan pendidik memperoleh wawasan mengenai strategi membatasi penggunaan gadget, sementara anak-anak belajar mengenai keseimbangan dalam penggunaan teknologi. Selain itu, seminar ini menegaskan pentingnya peran guru dalam mengajarkan literasi digital kepada siswa guna membantu mereka memahami penggunaan internet yang aman dan etis. Dengan hasil yang positif, seminar interaktif ini dapat menjadi model edukasi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran digital masyarakat. Keberlanjutan program serupa di masa depan sangat dianjurkan untuk memperluas dampaknya.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is an approach that accommodates the diverse characteristics and learning needs of students. This study aims to analyze the competence of teachers in implementing differentiated learning in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subject at SMP Ibnu Sina Pagaralam, which is based on a pesantren model. The research focuses on the teacher's understanding of the concept of differentiated learning, the implementation of learning strategies, and the challenges faced in its application. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies. The subjects of the research are the PAI teachers at SMP Ibnu Sina Pagaralam. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that PAI teachers at SMP Ibnu Sina have a sufficient conceptual understanding but have not yet fully implemented it consistently and comprehensively in the learning process. This is due to a combination of internal and external factors that directly affect the teacher's competence. Supporting factors, such as regular training, flexible teaching materials, and the support of the school principal, strengthen the teacher's capacity to apply the differentiated approach. This study concludes that the competence of teachers in implementing differentiated learning needs to be further improved through continuous training and adequate infrastructure support.
