Abstract

This study examines the effect of extracurricular activities on the formation of students' civic character using a quantitative approach and correlational research type. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of extracurricular activities on the formation of citizenship character of students of SMAN 7 Mataram. The data used in this study came from a questionnaire/questionnaire distributed to students of SMAN 7 Mataram, which met the standards set by the researcher. The population of SMAN 7 Mataram consisted of 185 students, with 37 students being the research sample. The results showed that extracurricular activities have a positive and significant effect on the formation of students' citizenship character at SMAN 7 Mataram, which means that the more students routinely carry out extracurricular activities, the more the formation of students' citizenship character will increase. The research results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination of this study are 34.4%, which means that the student character formation variable can be explained by the extracurricular activity variable by 34.4%, while the remaining 65.6% is explained by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The background of this activity is the need to address the issue of goat manure and wild plant waste, which pose environmental problems in the village. The objective of this activity is to provide an environmentally friendly solution in the form of solid and liquid organic fertilizers to support sustainable agriculture. The methods of this activity include socialization, training, and distribution of plant seedlings using organic fertilizer-based planting media. The results show that solid organic fertilizer provides a balanced supply of macro and micronutrients, while liquid fertilizer enhances plant nutrient absorption efficiency. This program has economic, social, and environmental impacts by improving soil fertility, reducing dependency on chemical fertilizers, and creating business opportunities. The conclusion indicates that this initiative offers an innovative and sustainable solution for rural communities.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggunakan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas VI di UPT SPF SDN KIP Bara Baraya 1. Studi ini dilakukan dengan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan melibatkan 22 siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus, dengan masing-masing empat langkah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Angket minat belajar, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data untuk mengukur perubahan minat belajar siswa sebelum dan setelah penerapan model pemetaan otak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan minat siswa dalam belajar secara signifikan, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan persentase siswa yang menunjukkan minat tinggi hingga sangat tinggi selama siklus kedua. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model ini efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa tentang materi pelajaran.

Abstract

Eugenol and its derivatives, phenylpropanoid compounds derived from plants like Syzygium aromaticum, exhibit significant biological activities, including antimicrobial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, analgesic, and anticancer properties. These attributes make them valuable in drug development and medical applications. In mathematical chemistry, chemical topology graphs are used to determine the topological indices of molecules, which to help predict physical and chemical properties. Here, atoms are represented as nodes and bonds as edges. This study explores the relationship between the Sombor index, the reduced Sombor index, and the boiling points of eugenol and its derivatives. The methodology includes literature review and computational analysis of the indices, followed by correlation analysis with the boiling points. The findings reveal that the Sombor index negatively correlates with the boiling point, explains 84.8% of the boiling point variance. This implies that an increase in the Sombor index results in a lower boiling point. Conversely, the reduced Sombor index demonstrates a positive correlation, influencing 36.1% of the boiling point variations, indicating that higher reduced Sombor indices correspond to higher boiling points. When combined, the Sombor and reduced Sombor indices explain 86.4% of the boiling point variance, highlighting their significance as predictive parameters. These results provide insights into the thermal properties of eugenol-based compounds and their potential applications in material and pharmaceutical sciences. By leveraging these indices, researchers can better predict and tailor the physical properties of eugenol derivatives for specific purposes.
