Abstract

Dari sudut pandang filsafat, etika merupakan suatu penilaian terhadap baik buruknya diri manusia. Filsafat ilmu hadir memiliki tujuan sebagai pedoman bagi manusia agar dapat melangsungkan hidupnya dengan bijaksana. Setiap ilmu pengetahuan memiliki aksiologi yang tujuan pemanfaatannya untuk kesejahteraan hidup manusia. Dalam etika nilai kebaikan dari perilaku manusia menjadi persoalan yaitu perilaku yang bertanggung jawab terhadap diri sendiri, masyarakat, lingkungan, maupun Tuhan. Bimbingan dan konseling merupakan ilmu yang sarat nilai, oleh karena itu merupakan ilmu multidisiplin. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah menambah wawasan pengetahuan terkait penerapan etika keilmuan dalam bimbingan dan konseling yang dikaji melalui pendekatan dari perspektif filsafat ilmu.  Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel adalah studi kepustakaan dengan mencari literatur dari media buku, jurnal penelitian, dan artikel penelitian yang sesuai dengan fokus kajian. Pembahasan yang dikaji mengenai filsafat ilmu, etika keilmuan dalam bimbingan dan konseling, serta etika keilmuan dalam bimbingan dan konseling ditinjau dari filsafat ilmu.   Understanding scientific ethics in the context of guidance and counseling: A philosophy of science perspective   Abstract: From a philosophical point of view, ethics is an assessment of the good and bad of humans. The philosophy of science exists to serve as a guide for humans so they can live their lives wisely. Every science has an axiology whose aim is to use it for the welfare of human life. In ethics, the value of goodness in human behavior becomes an issue, namely responsible behavior towards oneself, society, the environment and God. Guidance and counseling is a value-laden science, therefore it is a multidisciplinary science. The purpose of writing this article is to increase knowledge regarding the application of scientific ethics in guidance and counseling which is studied through an approach from the perspective of the philosophy of science. The method used in writing articles is literature study by searching for literature from books, research journals and research articles that match the focus of the study. The discussion examined concerns the philosophy of science, scientific ethics in guidance and counseling, and scientific ethics in guidance and counseling in terms of the philosophy of science.

Abstract

The Dalihan Na Tolu is a system of kinship that originated from the Muslim Mandailing Batak tribe regulating the life of people. This study aims to identify the role of Dalihan Na Tolu values as the kinship system as the fundamental for Muslim Mandailing Batak nomads students’ meaning of life fulfillment. This qualitative study used the phenomenology design. In collecting the primary data, we used observation and interviews with two Muslim Mandailing Batak nomads students. At the same time, the secondary data were obtained from the parents, siblings, friends, neighbors, and teachers. The data validity was assessed using triangulation on the observation and interview data. Our analysis results suggested that the Muslim Mandailing Batak nomads students’ meaning of life can be observed through three fundamentals of the meaning of life, namely the creativity, belief, and bravery values. The creativity value consists of the Marsitukkol Tukkolan Songon Suhat Di Robean value (asking the siblings to be successful) and Annakon Ki Do Hamoraon Di Au value (vengeance in learning). The belief value subsists of the speech or manner values in talking with the elders and Tua Mi U Jujung-jujung Tilako Mi U Dege-dege (disseminating kindness and covering the evils). Lastly, the behavior value consists of the bravery value.
