Abstract

This study aims to analyze and clearly describe the Personal Branding communication strategy used by the Regent of East Luwu Regency, Budiman in increasing public trust during his leadership period from April 5, 2021 to April 5, 2024. This research was conducted in East Luwu Regency. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, documentation and literature review. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. In building Personal Branding , a person needs an effective and targeted communication strategy so that the ultimate goal of Personal Branding is in accordance with the desired results. From the research of this study it was found that: The Personal Branding Communication Strategy of the Regent of East Luwu Regency using “Luwu Timur Inspiring” with the main target of the realization of the Regional Government's priority program has increased public trust supported by the results of the East Luwu BPS Survey reaching 87.84 percent with a good category of people Satisfied with Public Services under the leadership of Budiman. Budiman's SWOT includes, Strength: the realization of regional priority programs including One Room One Patient, Green Open Space Development without APBD, Special Financial Assistance (BKK) for 125 Villages, Weakness: Limited authority over regional development. Opportunity: the characteristics of a friendly personality who smiles and cares, and easily mingles in the local community, Threats: Policy changes from the center. Obstacles to the Personal Branding Communication Strategy of the Regent of East Luwu Regency, namely: Time and team limitations and lack of interaction with social media users.

Abstract

Many students face academic engagement and achievement challenges due to the lack of culturally relevant instructional materials. This study examines the effectiveness of integrating Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) with Problem-Based Learning (PBL), supported by Quizizz, in improving student learning outcomes in Science and Social Studies (IPAS). Conducted as a Classroom Action Research (CAR) study using Stringer's model, the research involved two cycles with 28 fourth-grade students at SDN Empang 2 Bogor. Data collection methods included classroom observations, formative assessments, and student performance analysis. The findings indicate a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with average scores increasing from 67 in Cycle 1 to 80 in Cycle 2. The proportion of students meeting the minimum competency threshold rose from 46% to 75%. A paired t-test confirmed that these improvements were statistically significant (p < 0.05, Cohen's d = 1.18), indicating a strong effect of the CRT-PBL model. Integrating culturally relevant content, problem-solving strategies, and gamified assessment through Quizizz enhanced student engagement, motivation, and conceptual understanding. This study highlights the potential of CRT-PBL combined with educational technology to foster active learning in diverse classrooms. Future research should explore its long-term impact and applicability across different subjects and educational settings.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan bahan alam sebagai obat merupakan hal tepat yang dapat menunjang kehidupan, dimana beberapa keuntungan dari bahan-bahan alami yaitu salah satunya memiliki efek samping rendah apabila dibandingkan dengan obat dari bahan sintetik. Desa Sejahtera, Kecamatan Palolo, Kabupaten Sigi Sulawesi Tengah merupakan salah satu desa dimana masyarakatnya mengkonsumsi daun kelor dan buah kelor. Masyarakat desa ini, pada umumnya sering mengkonsumsi buah kelor sebagai sayur, namun kulit dari buah kelor hanya dijadikan sebagai limbah, sehingga dilakukan penelitian terkait uji aktivitas antibakteri kulit buah kelor. Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini agar Masyarakat desa Sejahtera mengetahui manfaat dari kulit buah kelor dan cara pemanfaatannya. Metode yang digunakan saat melakukan pengabdian masyarakat berupa ceramah tentang swamedikasi sediaan herbal untuk melihat pemahaman peserta terhadap materi yang disajikan, presenter membagikan kuisioner keberhasilan kegiatan yang harus dilengkapi oleh masyarakat yang berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ini. Hasil kegiatan penggabdian pada masyarakat ini meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang manfaat kulit buah kelor sebagai antibakteri dan bagaimana cara pengolahannya.
