Abstract

Indonesia shows a high stunting rate among middle-income countries, with the World Health Organization reporting in 2020 that 149.2 million children under five worldwide (22%) experienced stunting, and Southeast Asia contributing 30.01%. Indonesia ranks third in Southeast Asia for stunting, with an average rate of 36.4% from 2005 to 2017. In 2023, South Kalimantan reported a stunting prevalence of 24.6%, and the Liang Anggang health facility showed the highest incidence in Banjarbaru City at 20.75%, underscoring a substantial occurrence of short and very short newborns. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of literature from 2019 to 2024 on stunting risk factors among children under five. Using Google Scholar and the Garuda Portal, relevant articles were collected and analyzed for type, citation count, origin, publisher, and year. Findings underscore several prominent risk factors, including family support, health worker assistance, insurance coverage, and income level. Four articles met the inclusion criteria and were evaluated with the Critical Appraisal Approach, focusing on stunting prevalence in toddlers; of these, two examined family support, three highlighted health worker support, and two investigated insurance's impact on stunting. All articles indicate a strong correlation between household income and stunting prevalence, suggesting low-income families are particularly vulnerable. The study recommends that Puskesmas provide comprehensive education on stunting prevention, especially targeting low-income families.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Cervical cancer is the leading cause of death for women in Indonesia, with 36,964 new cases and 20,708 deaths by 2022. The coverage of early detection of IVA in Banjarmasin City is only 1% of the target of 108,792 examinations. At Sungai Mesa health center, out of 1,972 targeted women, only 145 (7.4%) utilized IVA services, this is far from the national target of 80%, indicating that there is still low utilization behavior of the cervical cancer early detection program with the IVA method. To explore and analyze the faktors associated with the utilization behavior of the cervical cancer early detection program using the acetic acid visual inspection (VIA) method in the Sungai Mesa Health Center working area. This study used an analytical observational method with a Cross Sectional design conducted in October-December 2024. The sampling technique of this study was purposive sampling with a total sample of 106 samples. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using chi square and fisher exact tests and multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression tests. The study showed that there was a significant relationship between family support (p-value = 0.018), health worker support (p-value = 0.007), ease of obtaining information (p-value = 0.006) with the behavior of utilizing the cervical cancer early detection program. There was no association between knowledge (p-value =0.566), accessibility of health resources (p-value =1.000), availability of health services (p-value =0.450) with the utilization behavior of cervical cancer early detection program. Health worker support is the most related faktor to utilization behavior with an Exp B value of 4.366. There is a relationship between family support, health worker support, ease of obtaining information while the variabels of knowledge, accessibility of health resources, availability of health services have no relationship with the utilization behavior of the cervical cancer early detection program for women of childbearing age by VIA method at Puskesmas Sungai Mesa. The factor most associated with the behavior of utilizing the cervical cancer early detection program with the VIA method is Health Officer Support. Keywords: Behavior, Utilization, Early Detection of Cervical Cancer, Visual Inspection of Acetic AcidABSTRAK Kanker serviks menjadi penyebab utama kematian wanita di Indonesia, dengan 36.964 kasus baru dan 20.708 kematian pada 2022. Abstract

ABSTRACT Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer are significant global health challenges, particularly in developing countries. Understanding healthcare utilization for NCDs is critical to improving healthcare outcomes and patient quality of life. This study aims to analyze trends and identify research gaps in healthcare utilization for NCDs through bibliometric analysis. With this approach, this study seeks to provide a comprehensive overview of research developments in this field and identify areas that require further attention. This study used bibliometric analysis with the Publish or Perish app and a Google Scholar search using the keywords "factors," "influences," "health service utilization," "non-communicable diseases," and "basic health services." From the search results, the top 50 journals from 2017 to 2024 were selected for analysis. The data were classified by year of publication, journal type, number of citations, and researcher country, and analyzed using VOSviewer to identify research patterns and gaps. The analysis showed that research was concentrated in highly ranked journals and developed countries, with key terms such as "non-communicable disease," "factor," "use," and "health." This research identifies gaps in implementation policies, innovative approaches, and healthcare utilization factors that are not yet fully understood. Understanding research trends and gaps can guide future research and policy development efforts to improve the effectiveness of interventions and policies in the management of NCDs globally. Keywords: Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), Health Service Utilization, Primary Health Care, Health Influencing Factors
