Abstract

The rapid development of e-commerce in the last decade has brought significant environmental challenges, especially in the logistics sector which contributes greatly to global carbon emissions. This research aims to analyze green logistics strategies implemented by e-commerce companies and evaluate their effectiveness in balancing sustainability and cost efficiency. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA approach, which includes analysis of the latest literature regarding green logistics practices. The research results show that strategies such as sustainable packaging, carbon neutral shipping, route optimization, and collaboration with green suppliers can reduce environmental impact while increasing operational efficiency. However, challenges such as high initial costs, varying regulations, and consumer preferences for low prices are obstacles to implementing this strategy. This research provides recommendations for e-commerce companies to adopt more effective and sustainable green logistics practices.

Abstract

Operational Risk Management (ORM) is crucial for maintaining global supply chain resilience, but disruptions can increase costs, reduce quality, and cause significant financial losses, as evidenced by a 26% increase in cargo theft incidents by 2024, with estimated losses exceeding USD 1 billion. Enhanced traceability is key to risk mitigation, in line with the projected blockchain traceability market reaching USD 44.3 billion by 2034. This study examines how blockchain adoption impacts ORM through improved traceability using a narrative synthesis of peer-reviewed articles from 2015–2025 in Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The analysis focuses on blockchain-based traceability mechanisms, the types of risks addressed, and the impact on risk mitigation. The results show that blockchain enhances traceability through immutable, transparent, and decentralized data records, reducing fraud, counterfeiting, and compliance issues. Smart contracts enable process automation, reducing delivery delays, and increasing efficiency. These findings are supported by the Transaction Cost Economics (TCE), Resource-Based View (RBV), and Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) frameworks, emphasizing transaction cost reduction, competitive advantage, and risk mitigation. Blockchain plays a strategic role in transforming global supply chains, although implementation faces challenges related to cost and integration of legacy systems. Further studies are recommended using quantitative and longitudinal approaches for long-term evaluation.

Abstract

The Indonesian economy is significantly influenced by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which are the main support for the country's economy.. Therefore, the aim of this research is to identify the impact of supply chain management strategies on the operational performance of MSMEs. Data was collected by questionnaires distributed to 151 respondents, and testing was carried out using the Structural Equation Method (SEM). The findings of the study reveal that the operational performance of MSMEs is not impacted by all implemented supply chain management strategies. Out of the five supply chain management strategies, not all exhibit a significant effect. employed, one of them is not demonstrated to have a significant impact on the operational performance of a business.

Abstract

Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) is an important aspect in maintaining supply chain stability and resilience amidst global uncertainty. This research aims to explore the role of big data analytics in identifying, assessing and managing hidden risks in the logistics and transportation sector. The method used is a systematic literature review with the PRISMA approach, which involves identification, screening, eligibility and inclusion of articles from international databases. The research results show that big data analytics can increase visibility, improve operational efficiency, and enable the detection of hidden risks that are beyond the reach of traditional methods. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of integrating big data analytics in SCRM practices to increase supply chain resilience and minimize the impact of disruptions.
