Abstract

Entrepreneurship has been one of the biggest growth topics in the past decades. Someentrepreneurs engage in socially active activities that are strongly embedded in their entrepreneurialactivities and are known as social entrepreneurship. This research maps the presence ofsocial enterprises in Indonesia by investigating the personal and organizational contexts of thesocial entrepreneurs. Qualitative research was conducted by engaging in in-depth interviewswith 8 social enterprises in Indonesia. Abstract

Abstract

This research was motivated by students who tend to be passive during learning. In addition, students are not used to working together in groups to share ideas in gaining knowledge that has an impact on student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the influence of the Problem Based Learning model on student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning grade V SD Cluster 2 Nanggalo District, Padang City for the 2022/2023 school year. This type of research is quantitative. The research method used is an experimental method with Quasi Experimental Design design in the form of the nonequivalent control group design. The study was conducted in class V of SDN 11 Kurao Pagang, class VB as an experimental class totaling 23 students and class VA as a control class totaling 21 students. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. Data analysis in this study used prerequisite analysis tests in the form of normality tests using Liliefors tests and homogeneity tests using Fisher tests and hypothesis tests using t-tests. The results of this study were obtained t_hitung = 3.501 > t_tabel = 2.018, with a significance level of 5%. It can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model affects student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The focus of the research investigated the influence of the PjBL-based STEAM approach on the high order thinking skills of students in science learning on sound and light wave materials. The research conducted was a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design involving two groups, namely the control group using conventional methods and the experimental group using the PjBL-based STEAM approach. The results showed that the experimental group that applied the PjBL-based STEAM approach experienced a significant improvement compared to the control group that used conventional learning. The increase in high order thinking skills in the experimental group was 67.32%. In contrast, the control group also showed an improvement, but in a low percentage of 28.43%. The t-test showed a significant difference (p = 0.000), and the N-gain analysis showed that the experimental group had a higher N-gain (69.3%) compared to the control group (29.3%). So that the application of the PjBL-based STEAM approach is more effective in improving high order thinking skills compared to conventional learning methods.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) To analyze the influence of job satisfaction on employees turnover intention at PT. Unitex. 2) To analyze the influence of job stress on employees turnover intention at PT. Unitex. 3) To analyze the influence of job satisfaction and job stress simultaneously on employees turnover intention at PT. Unitex. The analysis method in this research using a simple linear and linear multiple regression. Sample of the research is 98 employees using simple random sampling. The techniques of data collection was done by distributing questionnaires and cultivated by using SPSS 16.00. t test result on job satisfaction variable is -5.412, with a significance value of 0.000. It means job satisfaction has a significant influence on turnover intention. t test result on job stress variable is 7.353 with a significance value of 0.000. It means job stress have significant influence on turnover intention. F test result is 39.037, it means job satisfaction and job stress has a significant influence on turnover intention. Determination coefficient score (R2) for X1 and X2 is 0.451, it means turnover intention can be influenced by job satisfaction and job stress around 45,1%, then other factors around 54,9%. Linear regression formula for hypotheses 1 is Y = 55.937 – 0.191 X1. Linear regression formula for hypotheses 2 is Y = 23.370 + 0.408 X2. Multiple regression formula for hypotheses 3 is Y = 36.323 – 0.126 X1 + 0.336 X2. Key word : job satisfaction, job stress, turnover intention.

Abstract

The purpose of the research are: 1) To know description for working environment, organization culture, and job satisfaction at Bank BTN (Persero) cabang Bekasi. 2) to test the influence of working organization towards job satisfaction at Bank BTN (Persero) cabang Bekasi. 3) to test tthe influence of organization culture towards job satisfaction at Bank BTN (Persero) cabang Bekasi. 4) to test the influence of working environment and organization culture towards job satisfaction at Bank BTN (Persero) cabang Bekasi. The analysis implemented in this research are simple regression and multiple regression analysis. The method of this research is simple random sampling, that taken 55 Operational Division employee at Transaction Process Division, Loan Administration Division, and General Administration Division, while data collecting by using questionnaire and cultivated using SPSS 19.0. The result of t test for working environment is 2.123, and the signification is 0.038. This shows that there is an effect between working environment toward job satisfaction. The result of t test for organization culture is -2.160 ,and the signification is 0.035 This shows that there is an effect between organization culture toward job satisfaction. The result of F test is 5.798, and the signification is 0.005. This shows that there is an effect between working environment and organization culture toward job satisfaction. The result of R2 is 0.182 or 18,2%. It means Job Satisfaction is affected by working environment and organization culture as much as 18,2%. Abstract

The purpose of these research are: 1) To know the description of the motivation, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and working period at the State University of Jakarta. 2) To know the influence of motivation which had been controlled by working period on job satisfaction at State University of Jakarta. 3) To know the influence of organizational commitment which had been controlled by working period on job satisfaction at State University of Jakarta. 4) To know the influence of motivation and organizational commitment which had been controlled by working period simultaneously influence on job satisfaction at State University of Jakarta. The analysis conducted in this research is descriptive and explanatory analysis. The study was conducted on civil servants at seven faculties in the State University of Jakarta, while the techniques of data collection was done by distributing questionnaires and the data being processed using SPSS. The regression shows that there is influence between motivation which had been controlled by working period towards job satisfaction and there is influence between organizational commitment which had been controlled by working period towards job satisfaction. Motivation and organizational commitment which had been controlled by working period simultaneously influence job satisfaction with significance value. Abstract

Two hundred and thirty twoundergraduate students of management major at State University of Jakarta were surveyed on their procrastination level, gender, socio-personal (parents’educationalbackground, number of siblings, university grade level), locus of control, and emotional intelligence. Result shows that 1) the procrastination level between male and female students is identical, 2) the procrastination levelbetween students whom his/her mother is holding university degree with other students whom his/her mother is not holding university degree is different,3) the procrastination level between studentswhom his/her father is holding university degree is different with other students whom his/her father is not holding university degree, 4) the procrastination level between students who have one sibling is different with other students who have more than one siblings, 5) the procrastination level between new students are different with senior students, 6) the procrastination level between students who have internal locus of control is different with other students who have external locus of control, 7)the procrastination level between students who have high emotional intelligence is different with otherstudents who have low emotional intelligence. Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) To find a description of the job stress, job satisfaction and organizational commitmentatCV. Dipo Production, 2) To determine whether there isan influence ofjob stress on employee’s organizational commitment at CV. Dipo Production, 3) To determine whether there is aninfluence of job statisfaction on employee’s organizational commitment at CV. Dipo Production, 4) To determine whether there isinfluence of job stress and job statisfaction simultaneously on employee’s organizational commitment at CV. Dipo Production. The sample of this research are all employees who work as a Tour Leader at CV. Dipo Production.Research data retrieval by survey method with questionnaires and the data processed with SPSS version 22.This research using descriptive and explanatory analysis. The Results of regression showed that job stress has a negative and significant effect on organizational commitment.
