Abstract

The issue of gender equality remains a sensitive topic in Islamic educational institutions, especially in Islamic boarding schools. Some believe that in the socio-religious context of Islamic boarding schools, women still experience subordination. This is a concern for a number of Islamic boarding schools that are trying to make this issue an integral part of their activities, such as the Al-Istiqomah Cibeber Cianjur Islamic Boarding School. The purpose of this article is to discuss the implementation of gender justice at the boarding school. Through a qualitative approach with observations and in-depth interviews with boarding school administrators and male and female students, this research resulted in the finding that the Al-Istiqomah Cibeber Cianjur Islamic Boarding School has implemented gender justice values ​​in the Islamic boarding school's socio-religious traditions. For example, they give female students the opportunity to hold the position of head of the boarding school, give female students the freedom to study directly with the kyai, and give female teachers (ustadzah) the opportunity to participate in forums with male students. Abstract

Pencapaian keberhasilan tujuan nasional pendidikan dapat ditandai dengan implementasi sistem penjaminan mutu pendidikan, baik secara internal maupun eksternal, di suatu lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana penerapan sistem penjaminan mutu internal dan eksternal di SMA Islam Progresif Daarussalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, di mana data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen terkait sistem penjaminan mutu di sekolah tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil riset mini yang dilakukan, SMA Islam Progresif Daarussalam telah menerapkan sistem penjaminan mutu internal dan eksternal. Mutu internal di sekolah ini ditandai dengan adanya Surat Keputusan (SK) tentang penjaminan mutu internal, yang kemudian diimplementasikan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu perencanaan program penjaminan mutu, pelaksanaan evaluasi mutu, serta penguatan kompetensi guru dan karyawan. Sementara itu, mutu eksternal dijalankan berdasarkan proses akreditasi yang dilakukan oleh BAN-PDM. Namun, hingga saat ini, hasil akreditasi tersebut belum diterbitkan oleh badan terkait. Selain itu, penjaminan mutu eksternal juga dilakukan melalui umpan balik dari orang tua siswa terhadap kualitas pendidikan di SMA Islam Progresif Daarussalam.
