Abstract

The problem of children dropping out of school still needs to be studied further because many factors contribute to this phenomenon. It is because in Indonesia, as many as 0,71 % of children drop out of elementary school, 6,49% drop out of junior high school, and 22,52% drop out of high school. This research aims to identify characteristics, moral understanding, and character development and analyze the factors that cause children to drop out. This research uses mixed methods, quantitative and qualitative, with in-depth interviews with teenagers who have dropped out of school aged 17 to 21. The research results show that economic problems, weak moral foundations, and parental style are why teenagers drop out of school. Other results showed that the moral knowledge of out-of-school teenagers was in the medium category, the moral feelings of 2 people were in the low category, and the rest were in the medium category. Regarding moral behaviour, the majority are in the low category, and the rest are in the medium category. The results of this research will be a reference for policymakers to reduce school dropout rates and increase children's character and moral values in Indonesia.

Abstract

Kemudahan pinjaman online menyebabkan konsumen tidak berfikir panjang sehingga mendapatkan teror penagihan pinjaman online. Teror didapatkan melalui telepon, WhatsApp, dan SMS dengan isi pesan berupa ancaman, hinaan, dan pencemaran. Teror juga didapatkan oleh lingkungan sekitar informan yaitu keluarga, teman, dan lingkungan. Teror disebabkan rendahnya literasi dan permasalahan ekonomi. Dampak teror yaitu pada psikis, sosial, dan ekonomi. Lembaga perlindungan konsumen telah berperan secara preventif dan represif terkait pinjaman online. Akan tetapi, terdapat pelaku usaha yang melakukan tagihan dengan melanggar norma yang berlaku. Selain itu, belum adanya aturan terkait negosiasi keterlambatan pembayaran sebelum mendapatkan tagihan. Dibutuhkan kerjasama berbagai pihak untuk mengedukasi konsumen.

Abstract

Pemerintah Indonesia telah membentuk Program Adiwiyata sebagai bentuk implementasi dari pembelajaran mengenai lingkungan hidup di lingkungan sekolah. Anak sebagai generasi penerus bangsa memiliki hak untuk mendapatkan Pendidikan sebagai bekal kehidupan selanjutnya. Sosialisasi guru mengajarkan perilaku tentang konsumsi berkelanjutan tidak hanya dalam proses pembelajaran, melainkan juga pada setiap kesempatan pada kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup Kerjasama dengan Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bekasi perlu mengajak sekolah dasar untuk mengikuti kegiatan seperti program Adiwiyata dengan cara menyusun peraturan di sekolah, kurikulum pembelajaran, kegiatan yang partisipatif, serta sarana dan prasarana yang dapat mendukung terciptanya kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Selain itu, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan dalam menyusun buku tema pegangan guru dan siswa perlu menambahkan tema penghindaran limbah, konsumerisme yang bertanggungjawab, perilaku sosial yang sesuai dengan kompetensi berdasarkan tingkat/kelas

Abstract

Sepanjang tahun 2021, Badan Perlindungan Konsumen Nasional (BPKN) telah menerima 2.113 pengaduan dari sektor jasa keuangan dan 427 dari sektor retail yang mana permasalahan terkait klausula eksonerasi adalah salah satu masalah yang sering diadukan oleh konsumen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap perilaku terkait klausula eksonerasi, dan mengeksplorasi peran Badan Penyelesaian Sengketa Konsumen (BPSK) dalam pengawasan klausula eksonerasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran sekuensial yang mengombinasikan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Survei dilakukan terhadap 170 responden yang dipilih secara sukarela. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku terkait klausula eksonerasi masih kurang. Hanya pengetahuan yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap konsumen. Kemudian, hasil wawancara mendalam menyimpulkan bahwa peran BPSK masih belum efektif dan cenderung pasif dalam mengawasi pencantuman klausula eksonerasi. Hal ini disebabkan belum adanya petunjuk teknis dan petunjuk pelaksanaan yang jelas terkait pelaksanaan pengawasan pencantuman klausula eksonerasi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan satu lembaga khusus dengan wewenang memeriksa, memvalidasi, dan mensertifikasi klausula baku sebelum diberlakukan kepada konsumen.

Abstract

Sustainable consumption behavior, namely making decisions that ensure the environment will not be damaged by SDG's goal 12. This research explores the relationship between respondent characteristics and sustainable consumption behavior and the influence of teacher socialization, parental socialization, and social media on consumption and sustainability values. This research was conducted cross-sectionally on 218 elementary school students using cluster random sampling. The data was processed using SPSS 25 and Smart-PLS 3. The results showed that sustainable consumption behavior among male students tended to be better and also tended to be better among children who had working mothers. The results of the SEM analysis showed a significant influence of parental socialization on sustainable consumption behavior. In addition, a significant positive indirect effect was found between teacher socialization, parental socialization, and social media exposure on sustainable consumption behavior through consumption values. Therefore, parents need to provide positive socialization to children regarding consumption values to encourage sustainable consumption behavior in children.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the influence of the level of peer attachment, teacher support, parental support, self-concept, and planned career events on the career decision-making self-efficacy of high school and vocational school students. This research used a cross-sectional study design with a quantitative approach. This research was conducted on 317 students, with 157 high school students and 160 vocational school students determined by cluster random sampling. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart-PLS. SEM test results showed a significant positive direct influence between parental support, teacher support, and peer attachment on the self-concept of parental support, parental support, and self-concept regarding planned happenstance career, and teacher support and planned happenstance career on career decision-making self-efficacy. Apart from that, there was an indirect influence between parental support, teacher support, and peer attachment on career decision-making self-efficacy through self-concept and planned happenstance careers. Therefore, parents need to shape their children's promising planned careers so that they can have self-efficacy for making sound career decisions as well.
