Abstract

In the field of education, sociolinguistics plays a crucial role in language acquisition, particularly in the learning of Arabic. Sociolinguistics is a combination of linguistic and social terms that refers to a field of study examining the interaction between language, human behavior, society, and the mind. According to sociolinguistics, the language used must be structured and possess good grammatical components. Contemporary learners have undergone various developmental phases in language learning, depending on the setting of their language development. The purpose of this article is to describe sociolinguistics and its relevance to Arabic language learning. The development of first and second languages in individuals will be the next topic to be discussed. Additionally, this article will also explore guidelines for teaching a second language and approaches to learning the process through the first language. The methodology employed in this research is qualitative. Through literature survey, data was collected using content analysis approach. Abstract

The development of the industrial revolution has led us to the society 5.0 era, where the integration of digital technology into people’s lives was inevitable. Therefore, this study explores the opportunities of leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to develop presenting skills in Arabic language learning while examining how teachers can mitigate the challenges and negative implications. We employ the interpretivism research paradigm with a qualitative approach and library research method. Data was collected through documentation techniques and analysed using Miles & Huberman’s interactive analysis model during and after data collection, following the characteristic of the qualitative research data analysis approach. The study’s outcomes offer two valuable things: firstly, a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities of leveraging AI in Arabic language learning, and secondly, practical strategies for successfully integrating AI into the learning process. Consequently, the results are expected to significantly improve students’ engagement and learning outcomes in Arabic language learning, particularly in developing presenting skills.

Abstract

_______Abstract: This analysis is a form of research activity that aims to re-examine a data or actual situation in the hope of increasing understanding and encouraging educators' decision making to understand several areas of psychological foundation before carrying out the learning process. The focus this time is the relationship between the psychological foundation as well as its principles in learning and the relationship between the four Arabic language skills. This research seeks to understand and present from the most specific points to the most specific in the existing theme. The approach used this time is a descriptive-qualitative-based approach using the Document studies and content analysis methods. The results of this study will later provide an overview of the material and content related to how the relationship between the principles of a theory and the psychological foundation of each person with four Arabic language skills in the present and the future.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the results of the analysis of the needs of learning Arabic by students through special social media, namely Instagram. The research method used is survey-based and supported by several documents and several supporting theories. Of course, the population in this study is a sample of students from several levels of education as active users of Instagram social media. This research was conducted as a new thing that emerged in the world of learning Arabic which so far was considered difficult by some students. In the research results, it was found that 2 factors were needed by Arabic language students through Instagram, namely internal factors and external factors. External factors are the material needs of the four maharah lugawiyah; istima' (native speaker audio material), kalam (dialogue between followers of Instagram accounts), qiraah (native Arabic literacy), and kitabah (there are discussions through chat rooms between Instagram followers). Internal factors from Instagram account users; physical fitness (using appropriate gadgets), intelligence (smart using digital literacy), interest and motivation to learn (attractive Instagram display design accompanied by fun educational games).
