Abstract

This study examines the concepts of Interaction and Mapping Interaction Research in Second Language Learning in the Classroom: Content Analysis Based on Rod Ellis's "Language Teaching Research and Language Pedagogy." The study applies a qualitative approach with a literature review design, utilizing data collection techniques such as documentation and literature review, followed by content analysis. This study indicates that Rod Ellis discusses the abilities involved in interaction, employing a sociocultural theory perspective to examine the development of second language learning. This theory emphasizes microgenetic and quasi-experimental studies on language learning through social interaction and internal learner growth. Rod Ellis also studies how classroom input and interaction improve second language learning using interactionist-cognitive theory, which emphasizes the function of interaction in delivering input that learners inwardly analyze. This perspective draws upon research employing descriptive/exploratory approaches.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the impact of the lecture program on enhancing students' speaking skills at Dar Al-Mustafa Institute in Bengkulu. It also aims to identify the Arabic language difficulties encountered by students at Dar Al-Mustafa Silomah Institute in Bengkulu. The research methodology employed in this study is quantitative research with an ex post facto approach. The data for this research includes all secondary and high school students, totaling fifty students, except for five students. The findings of this research indicate that implementing the Muhadhoroh program has an effect on improving the speaking skills of students at Dar Al-Mustafa Islamic Boarding School in Bengkulu.

Abstract

الكلمة تعتبر أمرًا هامًا في اللغة، سواء كانت شفوية أو كتابية. لفهم الكلمة، يجب على الطلاب أن يعرفوا منشأ الكلمة وتغييراتها. في هذا السياق، يُستخدم أحد الكتب المرجعية التي يعتمد عليها الطلاب لدراستها وهو كتاب "الأمثلة التصريفية". يهدف هذا المقال إلى معرفة كيفية تعلم استخدام الكلمات المشتقة لطلاب جامعة الأمة في بينجكولو باستخدام كتاب "الأمثلة التصريفية". طريقة كتابة هذا المقال هي دراسة حالة نوعية باستخدام تقنيات جمع البيانات مثل المقابلات والمراقبة والتوثيق. أما مصادر البيانات، فتأتي من محاضر علم الصرف وبعض طلاب الجامعة الإسلامية ألحكومية في فاطمة واتي بينجكولو. سيتم تحليل البيانات في هذا البحث باستخدام نهج التحليل التفاعلي الذي وضعه مايلز وهوبرمان. يشمل هذا النهج مراحل جمع البيانات، تبسيط البيانات، عرض البيانات، واستخلاص الاستنتاجات. أظهرت نتائج البحث أن طريقة التعلم هذه فعالة في تعزيز فهم الطلاب لمفهوم الكلمات المشتقة في جامعة الأمة في فاطمة واتي بينجكولو. يوفر استخدام كتاب "الأمثلة التصريفية" كمرجع رئيسي أساسًا نظريًا قويًا لعملية التعلم، بينما يضيف أسلوب التعلم بعدًا تفاعليًا يُحفز الطلاب. يمكن استخدام نتائج هذا البحث كمرجع لتطوير أساليب تعلم أكثر ابتكاراً وتواصلاً في تدريس اللغة العربية.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence, becoming increasingly complex, has sparked profound debates regarding its legal status, particularly whether AI can be considered a legal subject. To address this issue, this study adopts an existentialist philosophical approach, focusing on the concepts of freedom, consciousness, and responsibility as the fundamental elements of human existence. The research employs a qualitative approach with a philosophical analysis of the concepts of subjectivity and existence, drawing on the ideas of prominent existential thinkers such as Jean-Paul Sartre and Martin Heidegger. The findings indicate that although AI is capable of independent action and mimicking decision-making processes similar to humans, it lacks self-consciousness and existential freedom—traits that are inherently human. Therefore, from an existentialist perspective, AI does not meet the criteria to be regarded as a legal subject, as it does not possess authentic existence or the moral responsibility associated with legal subjects. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the legal status of AI is more appropriately viewed as an object of law, requiring special regulation, rather than as an entity with legal rights and obligations akin to humans.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the criminal act of human trafficking from the perspective of Indonesia’s positive law and its impacts on victims and society. The research method used is normative juridical with descriptive analysis of statutory regulations and legal doctrines. Law No. 21 of 2007 serves as the legal foundation for combating human trafficking, covering recruitment to exploitation through various criminal modes. Human trafficking causes severe social, economic, and psychological impacts, from deep trauma to social exclusion of victims. The state has established a comprehensive protection system, including rights recovery and international cooperation mechanisms. Despite existing regulations, challenges remain in enforcement and limited rehabilitation facilities. Therefore, effective TPPO eradication strategies require synergy between the government, civil society, and international actors to achieve substantive justice and comprehensive protection. In conclusion, addressing human trafficking must be holistic, with strengthened legal enforcement, victim protection, and sustainable public participation.

Abstract

Human trafficking is a complex crime against humanity, involving sexual exploitation, forced labor, slavery, and organ trafficking. This crime draws global concern due to its organized nature and transnational networks that exploit legal and social system weaknesses. In Indonesia, although Law No. 21 of 2007 on the Eradication of Human Trafficking Crimes (the Eradication of Human Trafficking Crimes Law) exists, law enforcement still faces numerous challenges. A major issue is the lack of coordination among law enforcement agencies and the frequent use of general provisions in the Penal Code instead of applying the Eradication of Human Trafficking Crimes Law as lex specialis. This research aims to analyze the role of the government and the effectiveness of law enforcement in combating human trafficking in Indonesia. The method used is normative juridical with statutory and conceptual approaches. The study finds that legal implementation is often suboptimal due to inconsistent understanding among officers, limited resources, and inadequate technical training. Meanwhile, the ratification of international conventions such as the Palermo Protocol, CEDAW, and the ASEAN Convention has yet to be fully implemented in practice. The Indonesian government, in collaboration with IOM and international bodies, has launched public awareness programs and officer training, though results remain limited. In conclusion, law enforcement against human trafficking requires national legal reform with better interagency coordination, a victim-centered approach, and stronger cross-sectoral synergy to ensure deterrence and comprehensive victim protection.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk komunikasi interpersonal yang dilakukan oleh pengasuh dalam pembinaan akhlak santri serta hambatan yang dihadapi selama proses komunikasi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengasuh menggunakan bentuk komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal yang bersifat langsung dan dialogis dalam membina akhlak santri, dengan pendekatan yang bersifat persuasif dan penuh kasih sayang. Komunikasi dilakukan dalam konteks yang akrab, menciptakan hubungan yang erat antara pengasuh dan santri, sehingga memudahkan internalisasi nilai-nilai moral dan keagamaan. Namun, dalam prosesnya, terdapat beberapa hambatan seperti perbedaan bahasa daerah, perbedaan karakter santri, pengaruh eksternal, serta kendala keterbatasan waktu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal yang efektif antara pengasuh dan santri menjadi faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan pembinaan akhlak di lingkungan pesantren

Abstract

This study aims to examine the legal protection available to consumers in e-commerce transactions and to analyze the legal responsibilities of parties involved in such digital trade interactions. The research uses a normative juridical method by analyzing legal theories, concepts, principles, and relevant statutory regulations, particularly those relating to electronic transactions and consumer protection law. The study concludes that consumer protection in e-commerce has been formally regulated under Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions. This law provides specific provisions for safeguarding consumers from fraudulent digital trade practices. In cases of loss, consumers can seek redress through the Consumer Dispute Resolution Agency (BPSK) or the court. Business actors violating these provisions may face cumulative criminal sanctions, including imprisonment, fines, and administrative penalties. This paper highlights the significance of legal certainty and enforcement mechanisms in protecting digital consumers. It reinforces the relevance of adapting traditional legal protections to modern digital commerce environments, and emphasizes the state’s role in balancing business innovation with consumer rights in the digital economy.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to assess the influence of self-confidence development through language development programs implemented at four universities in Indonesia: IAIN Kudus, UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu, Universitas Ma'arif Lampung, and UIN Maliki Malang, on students' Arabic speaking learning outcomes. The study employs a quantitative ex post facto approach. Respondents in this study are students from the aforementioned universities who participated in language development programs under various names. The total number of informants is 138 students: 41 from UIN Maliki Malang, 35 from IAIN Kudus, 22 from UMALA Lampung, and 40 from UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu. Data collection involved a modified psychological confidence scale focusing on Arabic language-related points and academic scores in Arabic speaking courses. The analysis techniques include instrument trials to test the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using Spearman Rank Correlation. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 26. The Spearman Rank Correlation test results show a significance value (p < 0.001), which is less than 0.05, with a correlation coefficient strength of 0.675. This indicates that variable X (self-confidence developed through language development programs) significantly correlates strongly with variable Y (students' Arabic speaking learning outcomes) at IAIN Kudus, UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu, UIN Maliki Malang, and UMALA Lampung. Thus, it can be concluded that the higher the students' self-confidence, the more it correlates with their Arabic speaking learning outcomes.   Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai pengaruh pengembangan kepercayaan diri melalui program pengembangan bahasa yang dilaksanakan di empat universitas di Indonesia: IAIN Kudus, UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu, Universitas Ma’arif Lampung, dan UIN Maliki Malang, terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam berbicara bahasa Arab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif ex post facto. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa dari keempat universitas tersebut yang mengikuti program pengembangan bahasa dengan berbagai nama. Jumlah total informan adalah 138 mahasiswa: 41 dari UIN Maliki Malang, 35 dari IAIN Kudus, 22 dari UMALA Lampung, dan 40 dari UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan skala psikologis kepercayaan diri yang telah dimodifikasi dan difokuskan pada poin-poin terkait bahasa Arab, serta nilai akademik dalam mata kuliah keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab. Teknik analisis yang digunakan meliputi uji coba instrumen untuk menguji validitas dan reliabilitas kuesioner, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan Korelasi Rank Spearman. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan SPSS versi 26. Hasil uji Korelasi Rank Spearman menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (p < 0,001), yang lebih kecil dari 0,05, dengan kekuatan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,675. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel X (kepercayaan diri yang dikembangkan melalui program pengembangan bahasa) memiliki korelasi yang signifikan dan kuat dengan variabel Y (hasil belajar berbicara bahasa Arab mahasiswa) di IAIN Kudus, UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu, UIN Maliki Malang, dan UMALA Lampung. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi kepercayaan diri mahasiswa, maka semakin tinggi pula korelasinya dengan hasil belajar berbicara bahasa Arab mereka.

Abstract

The development of the industrial revolution has led us to the society 5.0 era, where the integration of digital technology into people’s lives was inevitable. Therefore, this study explores the opportunities of leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to develop presenting skills in Arabic language learning while examining how teachers can mitigate the challenges and negative implications. We employ the interpretivism research paradigm with a qualitative approach and library research method. Data was collected through documentation techniques and analysed using Miles & Huberman’s interactive analysis model during and after data collection, following the characteristic of the qualitative research data analysis approach. The study’s outcomes offer two valuable things: firstly, a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities of leveraging AI in Arabic language learning, and secondly, practical strategies for successfully integrating AI into the learning process. Consequently, the results are expected to significantly improve students’ engagement and learning outcomes in Arabic language learning, particularly in developing presenting skills.
