Abstract

This paper is under in-depth investigation due to suspicion of possible plagiarism on a high similarity indexThe monitoring system is needed to observe changes in the voltage of supercapacitor module and cells so that their performance can be assessed. A multichannel data acquisition system was needed to implement because a module of supercapacitor consists of several individual cells. The system can be implemented in a computer program using data acquisition board and computer programming. The computer program acts as computer and user interface was created by using Labview symbolic programming software, while the data acquisition board was Labjack. The test showed that the monitoring system can receive eight channel of input signal (voltage) of the module and cells simultaneously. The voltage of the module which has a wider range, 0-20 volts, rather than the normal input, 0 to 2.44 volts, can be overcome by adding a voltage divider circuit.

Abstract

Solar cell as one of renewable energy source had been treated differently in this research. In order to optimize its output and efficiency, three panels output was measured simultaneously by vary its movement and sun light exposure. The variations of measurement  are one static panel without any treatment; one static panel with two mirrors as reflector; and one dynamic panel with reflector. The dynamic panel movement controlled by microcontroller. Result had revealed that the treatment succesfully improve the output of solar cell.

Abstract

Telah dibuat sistem pencatatan otomatis kehadiran mahasiswa menggunakan sensor RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). Data hasil pembacaaan sensor ditampilkan dan disimpan dalam database mengguna-kan program Visual Basic dan MySQL. Sistem ini terbukti dapat melakukan dokumentasi kehadiran secara real time dan memudahkan dalam pengambilan keputusan terkait status akademis seorang mahasiswa.

Abstract

Telah dibuat simulasi dan rangkaian untuk ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) tipe Flash dan SAR (Successive Approximation Register) 3 Bit. Simulasi dijalankan dengan memakai program Multisim dan Livewire. Rangkaian yang selesai dibuat di PCB diuji kemampuannya untuk mendapatkan tingkat resolusi, tingkat akurasi, waktu konversi dan rating sampel. Hasil yang diperoleh pada Flash ADC untuk resolusi adalah 0,42 dengan persentase error 7,5 %. Sedangkan pada SAR ADC nilai untuk parameter tersebut adalah 0,64 dan 8,11%. Waktu konversi Flash ADC lebih cepat dibandingkan SAR ADC. Sedangkan untuk rating sampel, kedua tipe tersebut dapat bekerja dengan baik pada selang 0,1 Hz - 500 kHz.

Abstract

Water is an essential source of life, thus regulating its purity is critical in daily living. Water has a high acid content (pH) and contains a variety of harmful chemical elements such as iron (Fe), copper (Cu), sulphate (SO4), nitrate (NO3), chloride (Cl), and other dangerous bacteria. The goal of this research is to create wastewater management such that it can be used by the community. The process involves creating Fe3O4 catalysts that have been modified using SiO2 and TiO2. The application of dirty water employs Fe3O4/SiO2/TiO2 to bind contaminants in polluted water. The results of the photocatalyst process carried out by Fe3O4/SiO2/TiO2 reach 90% in 180 minutes of UV light irritation so that it can degrade water pollutants such as methylene orange.

Abstract

A cutting-edge telemetry system for water depth monitoring is essential for achieving effective and reliable measurements through bidirectional communication. This system is designed to operate at any time requested by the user, enhancing the relevance of the collected data while promoting significant energy and memory savings. We propose implementing this innovative design at a Teluk Seruo Lake, featuring advanced flood and drought warning functions to proactively address the challenges of seasonal natural disasters. Using an Arduino board paired with an ultrasonic sensor and equipped with a Wi-Fi modem, users can seamlessly communicate with their smartphones to initiate measurements and access real-time water depth data via a dedicated website. Our laboratory tests confirm that timely alerts were successfully sent to users’ phones whenever water levels exceeded critical thresholds. Furthermore, during field tests, continuous monitoring of the lake’s water depth was efficiently conducted through the website, powered by 8400 mAh batteries that supported up to 75 data transmissions over a 12.5-hours period. This remarkable performance establishes a solid baseline for modem power consumption, underscoring the system’s effectiveness and reliability.

Abstract

Telah dibuat simulasi sistem palang parkir otomatis berbasis RFID dan basis data Google Sheets. Simulasi diwujudkan dalam bentuk prototype lahan parkir. Sistem palang parkir otomatis ini terdiri dari inputan berupan hasil scan kartu yang ditangkap oleh RFID reader dan keluarannya akan tampil di LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) dan menggerakkan motor servo. Adapun basis data yang digunakan dibuat dengan menggunakan layanan Google Spreadsheets yang terdiri dari dua file. Pada file pertama digunakan untuk mencatat pengendara yang masuk dan file kedua digunakan untuk mencatat pengendara yang keluar. Masukan pada sistem yang berupa scan card dilakukan pada berbagai jarak yaitu 1-4 cm. Pada saat kartu di scan dan ternyata ID kartu tersebut belum ada di basis data Google Sheets maka akses akan ditolak dimana LCD akan menampilkan “Data Tidak Ada” dan motor servo tetap diam. Jika ID sudah ada di basis data maka sistem akan memberikan akses dengan palang akan terbuka 90°, waktu palang terbuka hanya diatur berdasarkan waktu yakni 10 sekon dan LCD akan menampilkan kalimat “Selamat Datang” atau “Selamat Jalan”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyajikan simulasi pembangkit listrik Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell(PEMFC) untuk perumahan, mempertimbangkan 100 rumah masing-masing membutuhkan 1000 watt pada tegangan 220 V. Simulasi menunjukkan bahwa untuk mencapai kapasitas daya ini, diperlukan pasokan gas hidrogen sebesar 1609,29, 1514,76, dan 1484,94 gram per jam pada tekanan 1, 2, dan 3 atm. Kondisi optimal terjadi pada suhu 333K (60C) dan tekanan 3 atm dengan efisiensi 30,72%. Tegangan keluaran optimal adalah 0,56 V menggunakan 393 sel, mendekati 220 V yang ditargetkan. Hasil sampingan berupa air dan panas masing-masing rata-rata 359,62 watt dan 0,0020 mL/jam. Asumsi pengeluaran bulanan mencapai Rp. 17.237.929, sehingga dibutuhkan konsep yang lebih efisien untuk hasil yang lebih ekonomis. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang kelayakan dan optimasi pembangkit listrik berbasis PEMFC untuk aplikasi perumahan.

Abstract

Global warming is the most world priority of environment issues, which is indicate continously increment of  global mean temperature of Earth. Various research shown detrimental impact of Earth environment, due to increment of Earth temperature. Our study provide temperature trend of small scope observation unit, the urban area of Palembang City at latitude 2,9° and longtitude 104,7° for 30 years, from 1991-2020. Linear regression analysis shown the temperature increase on skin temperature (TS) and temperature at 2 meter range (T2M) are 0,4°C and 0,46°C, respectively. These variable can become indicator of global warming occurance on small scope of observation unit.Keywords: Global warming, Temperature trend, Linear regression

Abstract

Telah dibuat simulasi untuk melihat efek low pass filter  (LPF) finite impulse response (FIR) dengan metode window Hanning dan Hamming. Simulasi diwujudkan dalam bentuk Graphical User Interface (GUI) Matlab sebagai media peraga dan visualisasi output efek yang dimaksud. Masukan pada GUI berupa lagu dengan vokalis seorang Wanita yang akan menerima efek LPF FIR dengan parameter filter yaitu riak (ripple) pada passband sebesar 1 dB, Stop-band attenuation sebesar 60 dB, frekuensi cut-off sebesar 1024 Hz, frekuensi sampling low pass deep sebesar 33000 Hz dan low pass high sebesar 70000 Hz. Ketika lagu difilter dengan metode windowing akan mengeluarkan output suara yang lebih kecil dan jelas (seperti suara kartun Chip Munk) pada Hanning dan suara lebih besar namun teredam pada Hamming (seperti suara pria)Kata kunci: Filter Finite Impulse  Response (FIR), Graphical User Interface (GUI), Hanning, Hamming, Low Pass Filter
