Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Talaqqi and Takrir methods in the teaching of Al-Qur’an and Hadith at MTs Tri Bakti al-Ikhlas Anak Tuha. These widely used methods focus on reinforcing memorization through repetitive reading, but often fail to provide students with sufficient opportunities to understand the meaning and context of the texts being studied. This qualitative research employs observation, interviews, and document analysis to explore the application of these methods. The findings indicate that while the Talaqqi and Takrir methods are consistently applied, their implementation is not optimal in enhancing students’ understanding. The teaching process remains heavily focused on memorization and repetition, with little emphasis on discussion or reflection on the meaning of the verses and hadiths. Limited time and teachers' inability to facilitate deeper discussions are major obstacles. Therefore, this study recommends innovations in the application of these methods, including the integration of technology to support more interactive and comprehension-based learning, as well as teacher training to improve the quality of instruction. With better implementation, it is hoped that students' understanding of the Al-Qur’an and Hadith will become deeper and more applicable to their daily lives. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penerapan metode Talaqqi dan Takrir dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dan Hadits di MTs Tri Bakti al-Ikhlas Anak Tuha. Metode yang umum digunakan ini berfokus pada penguatan hafalan melalui pengulangan bacaan, namun sering kali kurang memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk memahami makna dan konteks dari teks-teks yang dipelajari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen untuk menggali lebih dalam penerapan kedua metode tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun metode Talaqqi dan Takrir digunakan secara konsisten, implementasinya belum optimal dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Pembelajaran masih lebih terfokus pada hafalan dan pengulangan tanpa mengedepankan diskusi atau refleksi tentang makna ayat dan hadits. Waktu yang terbatas dan keterbatasan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola diskusi menjadi hambatan utama. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan inovasi dalam penerapan kedua metode, termasuk penggunaan teknologi untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan berbasis pemahaman, serta pelatihan guru untuk meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran. Dengan penerapan yang lebih baik, diharapkan pemahaman siswa terhadap Al-Qur’an dan Hadits dapat lebih mendalam dan aplikatif dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in strengthening religious moderation at SMA N 1 Anak Tuha. The focus of this research is how PAI teachers integrate values of religious moderation into teaching, extracurricular activities, and school programs that support the creation of a tolerant and inclusive environment. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that PAI teachers at SMA N 1 Anak Tuha play a significant role in instilling values of religious moderation, both inside the classroom through lesson materials and outside the classroom through the "Sekolah Damai" program and extracurricular activities like ROHIS. The "Sekolah Damai" program, supported by all school elements and external organizations, also contributes significantly to creating an atmosphere conducive to religious moderation. However, several obstacles were identified, such as the influence of a fanatical community environment and the limited time allocated for PAI lessons. Despite these challenges, the consistent efforts of PAI teachers and support from various parties can overcome these barriers. The conclusion of this study is that strengthening religious moderation at SMA N 1 Anak Tuha can be successfully achieved if supported by the collective commitment of the school, teachers, and the surrounding community. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam penguatan moderasi beragama di SMA N 1 Anak Tuha. Fokus penelitian ini adalah bagaimana guru PAI mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam pembelajaran, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta program-program sekolah yang mendukung terciptanya lingkungan yang toleran dan inklusif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI di SMA N 1 Anak Tuha memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama, baik di dalam kelas melalui materi pembelajaran, maupun di luar kelas melalui program Sekolah Damai dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seperti ROHIS. Program Sekolah Damai yang didukung oleh seluruh elemen sekolah dan lembaga eksternal juga memberikan kontribusi besar dalam menciptakan atmosfer yang mendukung moderasi beragama. Namun, beberapa faktor penghambat ditemukan, seperti pengaruh lingkungan masyarakat yang fanatik dan terbatasnya waktu pembelajaran PAI. Meskipun demikian, upaya konsisten dari guru PAI dan dukungan berbagai pihak dapat mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penguatan moderasi beragama di SMA N 1 Anak Tuha dapat berjalan dengan baik apabila didukung oleh komitmen bersama dari sekolah, guru, dan masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

The actions taken by clerics to strengthen Islamic education in certain areas, such as Hamlet 02 in Kota Baru Village, Padang Ratu District, Central Lampung Regency in 2023, are various efforts aimed at developing and improving understanding and religious practices among the local community. The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts made by kiai in reviving Islamic education in hamlet 02 Kampung Kota Baru, Padang Ratu District, Central Lampung Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Then proceed with analyzing the data through a system of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the kiai's efforts in reviving Islamic education in hamlet 02 through TPA Pondok Pesantren Baitussalam, namely by holding activities, namely Riyadah, recitation of mothers, simaan al-Qur'an, and grouping the ability of students into various classes. And there are inhibiting and supporting factors, the inhibiting factor is the lack of desire and low awareness of the community to learn Islam, while the supporting factor is funding, financial support also comes from him to develop and revive Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to validate a contextualized Islamic Workplace Spirituality Scale (IWSS) specifically designed for Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. The instrument incorporates three core spiritual dimensions derived from Islamic teachings—taqorrub (devotion to Allah), muroqobah (spiritual self-awareness), and istiqomah (steadfastness)—which are operationalized into 10 measurable indicators. Using a cross-sectional survey, data were collected from 354 teachers across various Islamic education levels in Central Lampung Regency. The validity and reliability of the instrument were assessed using Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (EFA and CFA) with SmartPLS 3.0. The results confirmed that the instrument is both valid and reliable, making it suitable for measuring workplace spirituality within Islamic education settings. Key findings indicate that teachers exhibit a high level of workplace spirituality, with taqorrub emerging as the strongest dimension. This suggests that spiritual values play a central role in shaping teachers’ professional behavior and motivation. The study underscores the importance of integrating spiritual development into human resource strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency. However, its scope is limited to a single district, highlighting the need for broader studies across multiple regions or countries to increase generalizability
