Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian probiotik EM4 (Effective microorganism) dengan dosis yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan selincah (Belontia hasselti). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dengan masing-masing 3 ulangan, yaitu P0 (kontrol), P1 (10 mL/kg pakan, P2 (15 mL/kg pakan), P3 (20 mL/kg pakan), dan P4 (25 mL/kg pakan). Parameter yang diamati yaitu pertumbuhan bobot mutlak, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak, kelulushidupan, rasio konversi pakan, dan parameter kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh pemberian probiotik EM4 dengan dosis yang berbeda pada pakan sangat berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup ikan selincah. Perlakuan terbaik pada penelitian ini yaitu P3 dengan dosis 20 mL/kg pakan mampu menghasilkan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak sebesar 10,78 g, pertumbuhan panjang mutlak sebesar 1,23 cm, laju pertumbuhan spesifik sebesar 1,59%, kelangsungan hidup sebesar 95,99%, rasio konversi pakan sebesar 1,84%. Perlakuan terbaik untuk pertumbuhan bobot selada sebesar 48,94 g, rata-rata panjang selada sebesar 19,46 cm, yaitu pada P0, dan kualitas air selama pemeliharaan menunjukkan suhu dan pH yang optimal untuk ikan budidaya.

Abstract

Polikultur merupakan kegiatan budidaya perikanan dalam satu wadah yang menghasilkan lebih dari satu jenis organisme secara bersamaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sistem polikultur terhadap pertumbuhan ikan nilem. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan yaitu P0 (15 nilem), P1 (5 lobster air tawar dan 15 nilem), P2 (10 lobster air tawar dan 15 nilem), dan P3 (15 lobster air tawar dan 15 nilem), P4 (20 lobster air tawar dan 15 nilem), P5 (25 lobster air tawar dan 15 nilem). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan padat tebar lobster yang berbeda mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ikan nilem. Hasil pengukuran tertinggi pertumbuhan bobot mutlak, yaitu 7,21 g, panjang mutlak 4,59 cm, laju pertumbuhan spesifik 2,93%, kelulushidupan 93,33%, dan konversi pakan 1,26%, hal ini disebabkan karena kepadatan tebar lobster air tawar pada P2 rendah. Kepadatan penebaran yang rendah memberikan ruang bagi ikan nilem untuk bergerak dan hidup. Pemeliharaan sistem polikultur lebih baik dilakukan pada 10 ekor lobster air tawar dan 15 ekor ikan nilem karena menghasilkan pertumbuhan panjang dan bobot mutlak terbaik.

Abstract

Ikan patin (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus) merupakan salah satu ikan konsumsi memliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi dan digemari masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan dosis daun kelor yang tepat dalam pakan terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan ikan patin yang dipelihara dengan keadaan gelap selama 24 jam menggunakan sistem resirkulasi akuaponik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret s/d Mei 2023 selama 60 hari. Metode yang digunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Dosis perlakuan daun kelor yaitu P0 kontrol (0 g/kg), P1 (5 g/kg), P2 (10 g/kg), dan P3 (15 g/kg). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pakan yang diperkaya daun kelor berpengaruh nyata (p<0,05) terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup patin. Dosis terbaik pada penelitian ini adalah P1 (10 g/kg) yang menghasilkan panjang mutlak 7,62 cm, berat mutlak 31,93 g, LPS 3,29%/hari, dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup 98,89%.

Abstract

Probiotik rabal adalah probiotik dari hasil fermentasi ragi dan bakteri asam laktat. Probiotik rabal mengandung bakteri baik yaitu Lactobacillus cassei dan yeast. Penambahan probiotik pada pakan meningkatkan aktivitas enzim pencernaan sehingga penyerapan makanan menjadi lebih sempurna. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dosis terbaik pemberian probiotik rabal pada pakan untuk pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan ikan gabus menggunakan sistem resirkulasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April – Mei 2023 yang bertempat di Laboratorium Teknologi Budidaya, Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan Universitas Riau, Provinsi Riau. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) lima taraf perlakuan dan tiga kali ulangan yaitu P0 (pakan tanpa penambahan probiotik), P1 (30 mL probiotik/ 100 g pakan), P2 (35 mL probiotik/ 100 g pakan), P3 (40 mL probiotik/ 100 g pakan), P4 (45 mL probiotik/ 100 g pakan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian probiotik rabal pada pakan berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan ikan gabus (p<0,05). Perlakuan terbaik adalah P3 (40 mL probiotik/ 100 g pakan) dengan pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 2,91±0,03 g, panjang mutlak 3,72±0,15 cm, LPS 3,69±0,06%/hari, kelangsungan hidup 98,33±2,88% dan FCR 3,16±0,04. Parameter kualitas air selama penelitian yaitu suhu 28-29,5 ˚C, pH 6,1-7,1, oksigen terlarut 3,9-4,9 mg/L, dan amoniak 0,0006-0,0019 mg/L masih dalam kondisi baik untuk ikan gabus.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of different stocking densities on the growth and survival of gouramy (Osphorenemus gouramy) fed a feed containing booster aquaenzymes and to determine the best stocking density to increase growth and survival of gouramy. This research was conducted in November-January 2022 at the Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Riau. The container used was an aquarium with a size of 30x50x50 cm. This study used a one-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with four treatments and three replications. The treatment levels applied in this study were P1 = stocking density of 10 gourami fish/30 L, P2 = 12 fish/30 L, P3 = 14 fish/30 L and P4 = 16 fish/30 L. The results showed that there was an effect of different stocking densities on the growth and survival of gouramy. The stocking density of 10 fish/30 L gave the best growth and survival performance, namely absolute weight growth of 4.06 grams, absolute length growth of 3.25 cm, specific growth rate of 1.93%, feed efficiency 42.69% and survival rate is 96.67%. The range of water quality during maintenance is in the tolerable range for the growth of gouramy fry, namely temperatures ranging from 26.7-28.4oC, pH 6.9-7.5, DO 5.2-5.9 mg/L, and ammonia 0.00047-0.00059 mg/L.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect and optimal doses of thyroxine on the growth and survival of nilem. The test fish used came from Payakumbuh City, West Sumatra. The research was carried out at the Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, Riau University, Pekanbaru, from April–May 2022. The method used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) experimental method. The research treatments were: P0 (without giving thyroxine hormone), P1 (0.7 mg/3L water), P2 (1.1 mg/3L water), P3 (1.5 mg/3 l water), and P4 (1 ,9 mg/3L water). The results showed that the highest growth was found in treatment P4 (1.9 mg/3L water) of 4.84 g, the highest absolute length growth was obtained by P4 of 3.00 cm, the highest daily growth rate was obtained in treatment P4 of 3 .96% survival rate 100%, Feed Efficiency 82.83%, and Feed Conversion Ratio 1.21. The results showed that the addition of thyroxine hormone through immersion showed a very significant effect (P<0.05) on absolute weight, absolute length, specific growth rate, feed efficiency, and feed conversion ratio and had no significant effect (p>0.05). to survival. Water quality parameters during the study were still supportive, namely the temperature ranged from 28.0-29.7˚C, water pH ranged from 6.9-8.0, dissolved oxygen (DO) content ranged from 4.0-5.7 ml/ L and ammonia ranged from 0.00015-0.00050 mg/L.

Abstract

This research was carried out in December 2020-January 2021 at the Aquaculture Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, University of Riau. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of stocking density of red tilapia reared with biofloc. The method used in this study was an experiment with a completely randomized design (CRD) one factor four experimental levels three times. The treatments carried out were different stocking densities of red tilapia with treatments that were P1 16 fish/80 L, P2 24 fish/80 L, P3 32 fish/80 L, P4 40 fish/80 L. The best was found in P4 40 tails/80 L with an average weight of 6.63 g, Absolute Weight Growth 5.67 g, Specific Growth Rate 4.83%/day, Average Length Growth 7.95 cm, Absolute Length Growth 4.16 cm, Feed Conversion Ratio 0.93, Feed Efficiency 107.55%, Survival Rate 88.33%, and water quality parameters such as temperature 27-30 OC, pH 5-6, DO 7.5-8.2 mg/L and NH3 0.009-0.035 mg/L.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the best dose of papain in commercial feed to increase the growth of Climbing perch (Anabas testudineus). The research container used was a black bucket with a round shape with a volume of 100 L with a stocking density of 20 fish/container or 400 fish/m3. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factorial, five treatments and three replications. The treatment applied was feeding containing papain enzyme with different doses, namely P0= without the addition of papain enzyme, P1= addition of papain enzyme 1.25%/kg feed, P2= addition of papain enzyme 2.25%/kg feed, P3= papain enzyme 3.25%/kg feed and P4= addition of papain enzyme 4.25%/kg feed. The results showed a significant effect (P<0.05) on absolute weight, absolute length, specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio, enzyme activity and there was no significant effect (P>0.05) on the survival rate. The best growth rate was found in treatment P3 with absolute weight value: 4.70±0.18 g, absolute length: 2.0±0.20 cm, specific growth rate: 2.21±0.02% per day, survival: 100 %, feed conversion ratio: 1.26±0.03 %, and number of enzymes: 0.0716±0.0007 IU/mL, and with the growth of the average weight of water spinach 60.08 g and the average length of water spinach 100.4 cm in P1 treatment.
