Abstract

Arabic comes from the Semitic language family. it has a higher position than other Semitic languages because it is not extinct even though it is thousands of years old. Arabic is one of the most widely spoken languages today. Users are not only Muslims but also non-Muslims. Semitic is a language family associated with one of the sons of the Prophet Noah a.s. namely Sam son of Noah. In the narration, it is stated that Noah had three children, namely Sam (Semitic), Yafit (Aramiyah), and Ham (Hamiyah). Languages belonging to the Semitic language family experience slow development. Some languages, such as Akkadian, have even become extinct. and other languages, although not extinct but the speakers are no longer a big nation. This language is only spoken by a small number of people, like Aramaic. Only Arabic, the only Semitic language, has survived thousands of years. Arabic users continue to grow even today. The final conclusion of this paper is that Arabic represents other Semitic languages, both in terms of their origin and in terms of their privilege.

Abstract

This study examines the governance of infrastructure development funded by State Sharia Securities (SBSN) at UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung through Project-Based Sukuk (PBS). Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, field observations, and documentation analysis involving key stakeholders such as PPK, procurement officials, SPI, and project supervisors from the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The results indicate that SBSN financing strengthens transparency, accountability, and sharia compliance through digital procurement (LPSE), multilevel supervision, and asset-based financing using ijarah contracts. Infrastructure financed by PBS has significantly improved educational services, digital facilities, and institutional competitiveness, while also demonstrating social resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, challenges persist in administrative complexity, centralized procurement, and capacity readiness, which may influence efficiency in project implementation. This research highlights that PBS is not only a financing instrument but also an accountability-driven governance model that aligns with Islamic public finance principles to support sustainable development in higher education.

Abstract

The investment problem that often arises in society is the rampant fraud with unrealistic profit promises. This condition causes financial and psychological losses for the community, especially vulnerable groups such as migrant workers. As part of the responsibility of universities in carrying out community service, financial literacy assistance activities are carried out to improve the understanding and skills of Indonesian migrant workers in Greece. The methods used were in the form of pre-test and post-test to measure the level of knowledge, attitude, and behavior of participants before and after mentoring. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in aspects of knowledge, skills, beliefs, as well as attitudes and behaviors related to financial management. Participants feel real benefits in the form of better ability to recognize investment risks, prepare financial planning, and avoid harmful investment practices. This positive impact emphasizes the importance of financial literacy as a provision for migrant workers in facing economic challenges abroad. Therefore, financial literacy assistance activities are expected to be carried out in a sustainable manner, so that migrant workers have stronger financial resilience, are able to manage income wisely, and avoid misleading investment practices.
