Abstract

ABSTRAKKegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan mengatasi masalah yang dialami oleh guru di lingkungan Kelompok Kerja Madrasah Ibtidiyah Kecamatan Jagakarsa, Jakarta Selatan, yaitu kesulitan guru dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa untuk mempelajari matematika karena kurang menguasai metode, model, pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan inovatif. Salah satunya dengan permainan ular tangga sebagai inovasi pembelajaran matematika di tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Ular tangga adalah salah satu permainan tradisional dimana papan permainan ular tangga terdiri dari kotak-kotak kecil yang sudah diberi nomor dan beberapa gambar seperti tangga dan ular, yang dapat menghubungkan kotak satu ke kotak yang lainnya. Permainan ular tangga dimodifikasi sedemikian rupa peraturannya serta bidang permainannya sebagai inovasi pendekatan pembelajaran matematika yang menyenangkan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diikuti oleh 48 orang perwakilan guru MI se-Kecamatan Jagakarsa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dengan melakukan penjelasan mengenai apa manfaat pendekatan permainan ular tangga serta bagaimana  cara pemanfaatannya dan hubungannya dengan matematika, pengenalan permainan tradisional itu sendiri kemudian dilanjutkan pada implementasi permainan ular tangga, hingga membuat  soal-soal matematika yang berkaitan dengan materi matematika menggunakan pendekatan permainan ular tangga. Luaran yang didapat dari kegiatan pengabdian ini, yaitu guru MI se-Jagakarsa dapat menerapkan pengetahuan yang didapat dari kegiatan pengabdian ini kepada siswa. Kata kunci: pembelajaran matematika, permainan, ular tangga ABSTRACTActivity Community Service aims to address problems experienced by teachers in the Working Group Madrasah Ibtidiyah Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, namely the difficulty of teachers in fostering student interest to learn math because lack of control methods, models, learning approach that is fun and innovative. One of them with a game of snakes and ladders as an innovative learning of mathematics at the elementary level.Snakes and ladders is one of the traditional game of snakes and ladders board game which consists of small boxes that have been given a number and a few images such as ladders and snakes, which can connect one box to another box. Snakes and ladders game rules modified in such a way as well as areas of the game as an innovative approach to learning math fun. This service activities attended by 48 representatives of teachers MI se Jagakarsa. The method of this activity by doingan explanation of what the benefits of snakes and ladders to approach the game and how its use and its relationship with math, introduction to traditional games itself and then proceed to the implementation of the game of snakes and ladders, to create math problems relating to the material using a mathematical approach to the game of snakes and ladders. Outcomes obtained from these service activities, namely MI se-Jagakarsa teacher can apply the knowledge gained from this service activities to the students. Keywords: mathematics education, games, snakes and ladders

Abstract

Students' Advanced Mathematical Thinking in advanced mathematics courses were still relatively low. This happens because the lecturer did not provide opportunities for students to be able to construct their own mathematical concepts and students were still weak in mastering concepts in prerequisite courses. The lecturer is expected to provide opportunities for students to be active in learning and be able to construct their own advanced mathematical concepts through the implementation of innovative learning based on constructivism to improve students' Advanced Mathematical Thinking in advanced mathematics courses. The purpose of this literature study is to find out more about advanced mathematical thinking and its components (representation, abstraction, creative thinking, and proof) in advanced mathematics learning and how to develop it.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the increase of students’ comprehension with Project Based Learning (PBL) Model. Sample was taken 25 students. The method of this reaserch is experiment quantitative with purposive sampling. The data analysis used lilifors test to normality test and F test to homoginity test. From the  result of hypothesis used  test at the significant level , ttest 4.42 and ttabel 2.064  with the degrees of freedom (db) = n – 1 = 25 – 1 =  24 is 2.064 get ttest > ttabel = 4.42 > 2.064. It shows that H0 is rejected, so it can be concluded   that there is a significant effect between pretest and posttest. So there is an increasing of students’ comprehension using project based learning model.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa modul pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan matematika realistik untuk siswa SMP/MTs kelas VII semester genap. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan modul pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan matematika realistik untuk siswa SMP/MTs kelas VII semester genap. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi, modul ini sudah dikatakan layak untuk digunakan. Rata-rata skor total sebesar 91,67%. Untuk penilaian validasi ahli materi, rata-rata skor total sebesar 82,35% untuk penilaian validasi  ahli media dan rata-rata skor total sebesar 81,32% untuk penilaian validasi ahli Bahasa dengan masing-masing skor termasuk kedalam kriteria “sangat layak”. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran matematikadengan pendekatan matematika realistik untuk siswa SMP/MTs kelas VII semester genap ini layak digunakan sebagai perangkat pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find and analyze empirically the influence of student and teacher interaction and interest in learning toward math learning outcomes. The population in this study is the affordable class VII student DPN 86 South Jakarta. 70 samples are obtained through random sampling method. The research design used through correlation with three variables consisting of two independent variables, namely the interaction of students and teachers and the interest in learning as well as the dependent variable, namely the learning outcomes matemtika. Data was collected through questionnaire techniques (variable student and teacher interaction and interest in learning) and test techniques (variable learning outcomes). The collected data were then analyzed using correlation and multiple regression techniques. Before the data were analyzed, first performed descriptive statistical analysis and test data requirements (normality test, linearity, and multicollinearity test). The results showed that: there is a significant relationship between student and teacher interaction and interest in learning the mathematics learning outcomes, with a correlation coefficient of 0.877 and a coefficient of determination 0.768 or 76.8% of students and teacher interaction and interest in learning jointly affect learning outcomes mathematics. The resulting regression equation Y = - 41.565 + 0.659 X1 + 0.371 X2. This may imply that the better interaction of students and teachers the better the learning outcomes and the higher the higher the interest in learning math learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find and analyze the effect of feedback on learning outcomes in mathematics and an interest in basic statistics course. The population in this study are affordable Information Technology Student cademic Year 2012/2013 Semester II Indraprasta PGRI University of South Jakarta. Sample The study sample was obtained through random sampling. This study used an experimental method to the analysis using the MANOVA test. This study has three variables, consisting of: one independent variable, namely the provision of feedback (immediate and delayed), and two dependent variable is the result of interest in the study of mathematics and basic statistics course. The data was collected for the test results to learn mathematics, and a questionnaire for the interest in basic statistics course. Collected data were analyzed using the MANOVA test. Before the data were analyzed, first performed descriptive statistical analysis and test data analysis requirements (test data normality and homogeneity of covariance matrices). The results show that the learning outcomes of interest in mathematics and basic statistics course for students who are given immediate feedback higher than students given feedback delayed.

Abstract

The general objective of this research is to discover and analyze empirically the influence of mastery learning math concepts and creativity together to discipline behavior. Affordable population in this study was student of mathematics university fourth semester regular morning Indraprasta PGRI South Jakarta. 100 samples are obtained through a multi- stage random sampling method. The research design used through correlation techniques with three variables consisting of two independent variables, namely mastery of mathematical concepts and creativity in learning as well as the dependent variable, namely behavioral discipline. Data was collected through questionnaire techniques (variable learning creativity and disciplined behavior) and engineering tests (variable mastery of mathematics concepts). The collected data were then analyzed using correlation and multiple regression techniques. Before the data were analyzed, first performed descriptive statistical analysis and test data requirements (normality test, linearity, and multicollinearity test). The results showed that: there is a significant influence mastery of mathematical concepts and creativity to learn the discipline of behavior, with a correlation coefficient of 0.781 and 0.610 coefficient of determination or 61 % mastery learning math concepts and creativity jointly influence the behavior of the discipline. The resulting regression equation y = 42.693 + 0.279X1 + 0.505X2. This may imply that the higher a person's mastery of mathematical concepts the better the behavior of the higher discipline and creativity to learn the higher discipline behavior.
