Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of education is to develop the potential of students to become human beings who have faith and are devoted to God Almighty, have good character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become democratic and responsible citizens. However, observations show that there are students in SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak who smoke in the school canteen and when they come home from school. The method used is descriptive method and the form of research is survey research. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Based on the results and discussion of the study, the internal factors causing students to smoke are; (1) want to be accepted by the group, (2) want to show self-identity, (3) want to know the taste of cigarettes, and external factors causing students to smoke namely; (1) smoking family environment (2) school friends who smoke, and (3) the majority of smokers. So, the conclusions of the factors causing smoking students are; (1) want to be accepted by the group, (2) want to show self-identity, (3) want to know the taste of cigarettes, (4) smoking family environment, (5) classmates who smoke, and (6) the majority of smokers.Keywords: Students, Causes, Smoking

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to determined the characteristics of learners which has learning difficulties when online learning. This study was conducted using an qualitative research method with descriptive approach. Informants data sources used in this study were three students class X Madrasah Aliyah Islamiyah Pontianak who were determine by using purposive sampling technique. The resarch method used an intrinsic case study and data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation studies. Analysis of data collection using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman which consists of three stages, namely reduction, presentation and conclusion. The results of this research showed that the students characteristics who experience study difficulties during the online learning process include feeling unmotivated in participating in online learning, not focusing on online learning and difficulties in understanding the subject matter. Thus, it was concluded that the characteristics of learners who have difficulty online learning are marked by changes in student learning motivation who become less enthusiastic in the learning process.Keywords: Characteristics, Online Learning Difficulties, Students

Abstract

Abstract      Vilation is a deviant behavior to act according to one’s own will without regard the    that have been made.Code of conduct is set regulations made in writing, and bind community members. Regulatory regulations order and orderliness in school discipline include, obligations, and prohibitions. Therefore, researches want to know more about the behavior of violations of school discipline by students in SMP Negeri 22 Pontianak. The problem in this study is “how is the behavior violating school in SMP Negeri 22 Pontianak ?” This study aims to obtain an overview of the behavior of violatons of school discipline by students in SMP Negeri 22 Pontianak. The methods used is descriptive methods and the form of research is a survey study. The sample in this study were 29 class students VII in SMP Negeri 22 Pontianak. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used are indirect communication techniques and direct communication with data collection tools in the form of questionnaires and interviews. While the data analysis technique uses percentage calculations. Based on the results of data analysis from student behavior violations research in school SMP Negeri 22 Pontianak obtain results, namely the form of violations 56% with the category of “medium”, internal factors that affect violations of discipline 48% with the category of “medium”, external factors that affect 55% violations of the order with category “medium”, and the impact of violations of discipline 46% in the “medium” category. Keywords:Violations  Discipline Students

Abstract

AbstractLearning discipline is an obedient attitude towards all regulations and is applied when learning activities take place. General problems in this study are: "How to improve student learning discipline through group guidance services in class VIII 11 State Junior High School Pontianak. While the sub-problems are: (1) How is the general picture of the condition of the students before getting group guidance services in class VIII of SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak, (2) How to plan group guidance services to improve student learning discipline in class VIII of SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak, ( 3) How to implement group guidance services to improve student learning discipline in class VIII of SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak, and (4) How to improve student learning discipline after being given group guidance services in class VIII of SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak. The variables in this study consisted of the problem variables: learning discipline, action variables: Group guidance, Research Subjects were 8 students of SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak who had low levels of learning discipline with indicators: (1) Entering class on time, (2) Paying attention to explanations teacher, (3) Linking the lesson being received with material that has been learned, (4) recording things that are considered important, (5) being active and creative in group work, (6) asking questions that are not clear, (7) ) Make the best use of breaks, (8) Form study groups, and (9) Make use of the school library. The method used is descriptive method and the form of research is Counseling Guidance Action Research. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observations, interviews, while data analysis techniques using the percentage formula and the T-Test formula. Based on the results of research into the state of discipline of study subjects after being given action through group guidance services reached 77% with the category "high". Keywords: Group Guidance, Improving Learning Discipline

Abstract

AbstractThe world was shocked by the outbreak of the Corona virus or Covid-19 whichinfects almost all countries in the world. Covid-19 is transmitted through directcontact with the respiratory tract of an infected person. One of the methods usedin Indonesia is a PPKM. One of the impacts of PPKM is online learning. Ofcourse, online learning or learning (online) also affects other teachers,especially Guidance and Counseling teachers. Professional Guidance andCounseling teachers must be able to solve student problems, and provideGuidance and Counseling services that help students optimize their abilities andrelax the problems they face. The purpose of this research is to obtain data andinformation about the effectiveness of the guidance and counseling servicesprovided by the Guidance and Counseling Teacher grade X MAN 2 Pontianak.The effectiveness of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in improving theguidance and counseling services provided grade X students of MAN 2Pontianak by providing question and answer sessions, students to choose theirown process of guidance and counseling services to be provided, adjusting thetheme of guidance and counseling services to the things that students areinterested in, appreciate the good thoughts and opinions of students.Keywords: COVID-19, Effectivity, Guidance and Counseling.

Abstract

Abstract This research was about Verbal Bullying Behavior to 9th Grade Students of SMP LKIA Pontianak. The problems in this research are: (1) what are the causes of an individual being bullied verbally? (2) What are the effects of verbal bullying for victims? (3) What are the effects of verbal bullying on perpetrators? (4) How is the BK teacher’s effort in addressing victims of verbal bullying? (5) How is the BK teacher’s effort in preventing verbal bullying acts committed by the students? This study aims to describe and find out about the forms of verbal bullying behavior that occurred to 9th grade students of SMP LKIA Pontianak.Based on the results of this study, it was shown that verbal bullying to 9th grade students of Pontianak LKIA Middle School was in a fairly high category. (1) Family factors as the main cause of individuals doing verbal bullying with the category "fairly high" has a percentage of 70%. (2) Loneliness is the impact of verbal bullying "quite high" with a percentage of 70%. (3) The highest impact for perpetrators of verbal bullying which will be excluded from school with a percentage of 66% to the "quite enough" category. (4) BK teacher effort to prevent verbal bullying with the highest percentage of 71% was to create a social context with the category of "high enough". (5) Efforts of the BK teacher in overcoming the victims of "quite high" verbal bullying with a percentage of 67% were by working with the school and parents. Keywords:  Students, Verbal Bullying.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of the study was to describe the learning interest of broken home student at Simpang Hulu Junior High School. The research method used is qualitative through a descriptive approach. The role of the researcher in this study is as a research observer. The research location was conducted at Simpang Hulu Junior High School. The research subject consisted of grade eight subject. Data collection techniques used, interviews, and documentation. Interview guide data collection tool and documentation recording divice. Data analysis with reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. Techniques for checking the validity of source triangulation data. The factors causing the students’ low interest in learning are (1) family, (2) subject, and (3) facilities and infrastructure. The impact of low interest in learning is, (1) decreased academic achievement, (2) difficulty understanding science, (3) neglect of assignment. The efforts made by counseling guidance teachers are provide individual counseling services to the students concerned.Keywords: Broken Home, Interest in Learning, Individual Counseling

Abstract

AbstractSelf- concept is an argued of people from what we think, about ourselves, and what we are desired.  The guidance of the group means an activity can also support educated participants in developing potential, and they can take benefits from learning experience to itself through a group. Therefore, this study aimed to know about participants’ self-concept through the guidance of the group at SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya. This research used quantitative as a design, the researcher also used descriptive method and study survey to this research. The technical technique used an indirect communication techniques. The participant were 60 participants of the seventh grade at SMP Negeri 7 Sungai Raya.  The study found that participants’ self concept through the guidance of the group with the actual score 3306 and the ideal score 3600 with range precentage 92% in category “high”.Keywords: Self-Concept, The Guidance Of The Group
