Abstract

Tingginya tingkat pengangguran menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang signifikan di Indonesia, termasuk di wilayah Cikarang, akibat adanya praktik percaloan dalam proses rekrutmen tenaga kerja. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan calo dalam proses rekrutmen terhadap tingkat pengangguran di Cikarang. Pendekatan kuantitatif diterapkan dengan melibatkan 90 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Penentuan ukuran sampel dilakukan menggunakan rumus Hair et al., 2010 yaitu N=5×jumlah indikator, dengan jumlah indikator sebanyak 6, sehingga diperoleh N=10×6=60 responden. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner tertutup menggunakan skala Likert 1-5. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan calo memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan tingkat pengangguran. Temuan ini mengungkap bahwa 46,4% variasi tingkat pengangguran dapat dijelaskan oleh faktor penggunaan calo, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya reformasi dalam proses rekrutmen untuk menciptakan transparansi dan keadilan, sehingga dapat mengurangi pengangguran secara berkelanjutan. populasi penelitian terdiri dari individu di wilayah Cikarang yang terkena dampak penggunaan calo dalam proses rekrutmen.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the word formation process through affixation in the lyrics of the song "Sedia Aku Sebelum Hujan" by Idgitaf. Affixation is a morphological process that plays an important role in expanding word meanings and forming variations in language structure in a text, including song lyrics. The use of affixes in song lyrics not only functions as a linguistic structure but also as a means to emphasize messages, describe emotions, and enrich the aesthetic nuances that the songwriter wants to convey. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with note-taking analysis techniques. The research data is in the form of affixed words collected from the lyrics of the song "Sedia Aku Sebelum Hujan," then analyzed based on the type of affix, namely prefix, suffix, infix, and confix. The results showed that there are 17 affixed words in the lyrics, consisting of 7 prefixes, 9 suffixes, 0 infixes, and 1 confix. The dominant use of suffixes, especially -kan and -mu, indicates their functional role in forming transitive verbs and marking grammatical relations in the lyrical context

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms of prepositional phrases used to convey meanings and messages in the Instagram captions of Indonesian Idol Season X alumni. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using the listening and note-taking techniques to collect and classify linguistic data. The data sources consist of Instagram captions posted by Ziva Magnolya, Tiara Andini, Mahalini Raharja, Lyodra Ginting, and Keisya Levronka, who actively use social media as a platform for communication and self-expression. The analysis focuses on identifying the structural forms and functions of prepositional phrases within the captions and examining how these linguistic elements contribute to the delivery of information, emotions, and persuasive messages. The findings indicate that the use of prepositional phrases varies among the singers in terms of structure, frequency, and communicative function. These variations reflect each singer’s distinctive writing style and communication strategy in interacting with followers while strengthening the clarity, coherence, and contextual meaning of the captions. The study also demonstrates that prepositional phrases play an important role in enriching sentence construction and supporting effective communication in digital discourse. Therefore, the findings contribute to the development of syntactic studies, particularly those related to language use on social media, and provide useful references for future research on linguistic structures in digital communication.
