Abstract

Pembelajaran merupakan upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia, dan salah satu metode yang efektif adalah mengimplementasikan pendidikan pada tingkat dasar, seperti Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). PAUD penting karena anak usia dini (0-6 tahun) berada dalam masa perkembangan pesat, memerlukan stimulasi dan instruksi tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi efektivitas game edukasi digital “Sea Animal Games” dalam meningkatkan minat, motivasi, dan pemahaman matematika pada anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan adalah campuran (mix method) dengan desain explanatory sequential. Partisipan penelitian adalah 40 anak usia dini dari TK Islam Al-Ikhsan. Instrumen penelitian meliputi kuesioner, tes pemahaman, wawancara, observasi, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam minat dan motivasi belajar matematika, dengan skor kuesioner meningkat dari 3.2 menjadi 4.5, dan pemahaman matematika dasar dari 65 menjadi 85. Wawancara dan observasi juga menunjukkan peningkatan antusiasme, keterlibatan, dan kerjasama anak-anak. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa integrasi game edukasi digital dalam pembelajaran matematika efektif dan sesuai dengan karakteristik belajar anak usia dini. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan metode pembelajaran inovatif yang menggabungkan aspek kognitif, emosional, dan sosial, memberikan solusi praktis bagi pendidik dalam menciptakan pembelajaran matematika yang menyenangkan dan efektif.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development and evaluation of the Elementary Level Tiered Training program which is integrated with mentoring for PAUD teachers in Sidoarjo Regency. The background to this research is the demand for increasing the competency of PAUD teachers to provide optimal educational services in a society that is increasingly critical of early childhood education. Leveled training integrated with mentoring is designed to provide systematic and gradual understanding and skills, as well as direct guidance from experienced mentors.The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires, in-depth interviews and participant observation. The main findings of this research include the competency needs of PAUD teachers in pedagogical, professional, social and personality aspects, as well as the effectiveness of mentoring methods in increasing teacher competency. This research makes a significant contribution to the professional development of PAUD teachers through a more holistic and sustainable approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) dengan menggunakan bahan-bahan bekas dan bahan alam terhadap kemampuan motorik halus dan kognitif anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Dharma Wanita Bluru Kidul, Kecamatan Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 50 anak, yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, masing-masing berjumlah 25 anak. Kelompok eksperimen menerima pembelajaran STEAM dengan bahan bekas dan bahan alam, sementara kelompok kontrol menerima pembelajaran konvensional. Kemampuan motorik halus dan kognitif diukur melalui pre-test dan post-test.   Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran STEAM dengan bahan bekas dan bahan alam berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus dan kognitif anak. Pada kemampuan motorik halus, kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih besar dibandingkan kelompok kontrol, dengan gain score 2 berbanding 1. Rata-rata skor pre-test kelompok kontrol adalah 7,08 dan post-test 8,08, sedangkan kelompok eksperimen 8,24 dan 10,24. Pada kemampuan kognitif, gain score kelompok eksperimen adalah 2,52, sementara kelompok kontrol 1,32. Rata-rata skor pre-test kelompok kontrol adalah 7,08 dan post-test 8,4, sedangkan kelompok eksperimen 7,56 dan 10,08.

Abstract

Early childhood (ages 0ÔÇô6) represents a critical period for multidimensional development that significantly influences long-term quality of life. This study aims to examine the role of nutritional intake in supporting physical and motor development in early childhood, particularly fine and gross motor skills. A mixed-methods approach was employed, integrating both quantitative and qualitative data. The participants consisted of 30 children aged 3ÔÇô5 years from Al-Ikhsan Islamic Kindergarten and Playgroup in Sidoarjo, Indonesia. The findings revealed that a balanced nutritional intakeÔÇöespecially diets rich in vegetables, fruits, and proteinsÔÇöhad a significant positive correlation with the childrenÔÇÖs physical and motor development. These results highlight the critical role of appropriate nutritional interventions during early life stages as a foundation for optimal motor development. The study implies the necessity of strengthening nutrition education for parents and early childhood education institutions as part of a holistic strategy to support childrenÔÇÖs growth and development.┬á

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of violence, bullying and intolerance on young children at the Al-Ikhsan Islamic Kindergarten. The research method used is a combination of qualitative and quantitative. The qualitative approach involves in-depth interviews with teachers, parents, and students to gain in-depth perspectives on their experiences and perceptions regarding violence, bullying, and intolerance. Meanwhile, the quantitative approach uses questionnaires distributed to all students and parents to measure the frequency, type and impact of these events. The research results show that violence, bullying and intolerance have a significant impact on children's emotional and social development. Children who experience violence and bullying tend to show symptoms of stress, anxiety and decreased academic performance. In addition, intolerance in the school environment can hinder the development of tolerance and cooperation among children. This research emphasizes the importance of early intervention and educational programs that focus on developing social and emotional skills to create safe and inclusive learning environments.

Abstract

Speech Delayin children is a developmental problem that often raises concerns for parents and health professionals. This research aims to identify the causes, diagnostic methods and effective interventions for treating speech delays in children. The causes of speech delays can vary, including genetics, environment, hearing loss, and medical and neurological conditions such as autism and language spectrum disorders. A diagnosis of speech delay requires a comprehensive evaluation by a multidisciplinary team that includes a pediatrician, speech pathologist, psychologist, and audiology specialist. Assessment tools such as language development tests and clinical observations are often used to assess a child's speech and language abilities. Effective interventions include speech therapy, language stimulation programs, as well as active involvement of parents in therapy. In addition, early intervention is highly recommended to maximize a child's speech development potential. This research emphasizes the importance of early detection and appropriate intervention to overcome speech delays and support optimal communication development in children.
